Slow service, staff forgot to bring out mash, a second beer and ketchup when asked on separate occasions, took way too long to clear plates and we were sat waiting for the bill for way too long even though the restaurant was almost empty. Chicken was dry and flavourless and salmon was not properly cooked, was offered a complimentary dessert for this which they forgot to take off the bill. The waiter had great knowledge of wine and the menu and seemed nice but apart from that the service wasn’t great.

My mother and I enjoyed a delicious lunch . Polite efficient service together with delicious steak frites and a glass of Merlot. Thank you Côte !

I booked a table online, and mentioned in the comments that we were both there to celebrate a birthday. I hoped they might do something nice for us, and sure enough, they not only gave us complimentary pink champagne, but also gave us a "Happy Birthday" dessert, beatifully wrote in chocolate sauce. The main reason I'm writing this though, is because the venue, food, and especially the service, was delightful. I look forward to returning here soon.

Delicious food, excellent service. A very busy restaurant but staff coped well. I always feel your automatic 12.5% service charge is unacceptable in Britain in 2019, pay the going rate to your staff and increase prices if need be.

A pre Christmas Book Group get together. Chosen really because good location for us oldies to get to on the bus rather than driving and we have been before and enjoyed it. We did again and particularly appreciated the early diners menu - very good for pensioners!

Very good food at reasonable prices, have never had a complaint in several years eating here. The staff are always pleasant & helpful & will tell you about the dishes if you are not sure what you want. The wine is also good & not too expensive. Well worth a visit for lunch or evening.

Lovely food as always. Service slightly more erratic than usual (we are regular visitors). Would be great to see a few more vegan options on the menu but really appreciate the separate vegetarian menu.

Running out of superlatives. This is a gem and an experience of French Cuisine and great service in the city centre at unbelievably reasonable prices. It just gets better and better every time.

We went to Cote for a celebration meal to mark our 50th wedding anniversary, from start to finish we were treated really good, everyone that served us were very attentive. My husband is Gluten free and they catered for him brilliantly. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommended Cote.

Lovely atmosphere, casual but “classy”. Excellent and charming waitress service. Food good with varied choice of wine. Really lovely evening and thoroughly recommend it.

We booked our table for 2 before peak times and we were still rushed. - we were asked if we were ready to order twice within 10 minutes of being seated. After I ordered the seafood linguine, the shell fish were not edible. During our meal we weren’t asked how our meal was and I couldn’t get anyone’s attention therefore couldn’t then ask the staff for a different order.

I am a regular diner at Cote Quakers Friars and the reason for that is the wonderful food, the friendly and efficient service and the general welcome and desire to help and please. Best restaurant in Bristol!
