We usually visit Côte in Clifton which is always good. Côte in Quaker's is now 'on the list' too. Lovely situation with outdoor seating and pleasant staff.

A first class meal served in excellent surroundings. Everything about the meal was supported by brilliant waiting staff. WOULD THOROUGHLY recommend Cote Brassiere in Cabot Circus Bristol.

Food was good, however three of the group had an egg benedict starter, but they were cold & had to be returned. There was no atmosphere and for part of our visit our group of 5 were the only people in the restaurant. Despite this, we struggled to get the attention of the waitress at times. Clifton Village Cote is far better

Calamari excellent. Service good but regrettably the kitchen was unable to provide a hot peche crumble. Taken from fridge, put into a hot oven for a couple of minutes. Result - container hot inside stone cold. Even I know that you heat the centre with a mircrowave and then brown in a hot oven to finish and heat the outside. In fairness, pudding replaced with one warm rather than hot.

The food was good not disappointed and excellent value for money we had a nice table as requested and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Unusually the service wasn't up to normal we had to ask for the glasses to be refilled from the bottle of wine and leave our seat to find some one to place a coffee order maybe they were short staffed that day it wouldn't stop me returning.

Great service. Nice staff. Thank you. I have eaten here at least four times now and on every occasion I have enjoyed it! Also the Côte in Clifton Village is a firm favourite.

Excellent food and great service at Cote. Good value too for what we had - steak, mussels and veal were particularly good, with decent French wines by the glass

Great food not that impressed with service charge automatically added - would prefer to give a tip amount of my choice. Service wasn't the best - they forgot the bottle of wine we ordered!

Lovely bright restaurant overlooking Quakers Friars. Enjoyed the breakfast but a little bland. We had lots of time to sit & chat at breakfast and were not rushed or hurried by staff.

As ever the food was delicious and the service great. If Cote can do a fabulous 3 course meal for £12.95 why can't everyone else? Thoroughly recommend.

Classic French food, nice ambience, we love it! The menu changes regularly and features innovative dishes, like the yellow beetroot starter we enjoyed today. If you like French food, try this restaurant.

On this occassion , as i was a little early for lunch i decided to try the breakfast menu. I found this to be of excellent value for the price which included toast, juice and coffee , as well as a full english breakfast for under £10.

My starter was frankly quite disappointing. It was Egg Benedict. The shape on the poached egg was good, but the yolk was cooked too much and absolutely solid and the hollandaise sauce was too thick. The muffin was toasted and the ham was of good quality. Would I order it again - yes in the hope that the chef can poach an egg! Apart from that the other five dishes and two sides were spot on as was the service.

Once seated we discovered a cracked glass on the table and the Waitress was not very attentive during our visit, had to try and get their attention various times and actually got two orders slightly wrong. Some of us ordered from the special 10 year anniversary menu which came with complimentary champagne at the beginning of the meal, however we did not receive this until dessert when we had to remind our waitress of it. However other than all of that the food was divine and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! Please send our compliments to the chefs as it wasn't for them I don't think we would return.

The food just wasn't to it's usual standard. Bit disappointed. Usually it's great quality, cooked perfectly food. However my dish was soggy. The staff and setting however were great, friendly and professional as always .

It was our first time eating at Cote & the staff were very welcoming, the restaurant was lovely but we did feel we waited quite a long time for our food & when we received it, it was a little cold, my partner had a cooked breakfast & I had scrambled eggs, salmon & brown toast, the food itself was very enjoyable just a little cold...Would we come again! Absolutely.

the main course was hake on a bed of beans. This way of serving it let the meal down, but otherwise everything was ok. Thank you

Have been to several Cotes. Almost always excellent but this was the best one I have visited and in a pleasant location. I had my favourite dishes, flat steak and creme caramel. The flat steak was beautifully tender (is not always) and the dessert delicious (as always). Accompanying wine was excellent as was the service. The only thing I'm not so keen on is the large tip added to the bill for which I suspect the staff don't get the full amount.
