A delightful ladies lunch today . 4 of us enjoyed excellent service and we all had chicken and clairfouti with an excellent bottle of White House wine

we were celebrating my husbands 82nd birthday and have found from experience that this restaurant is the place to do that in style. The food is excellent and beautifully presented. The staff are efficient, knowledgeable , and unobtrusive. The atmosphere is pleasant with a feeling of a French restaurant. We like coming here

On my own in Cotes Bury st Edmunds . Great service as always . Delicious glass of wine , always friendly staff, I repeat always . My meal? Calamari , sea bass , followed by Clairfouti .

I took my lovely granddaughter. We shared the Calamari starter . I had sea bream main course and my granddaughter had the roast belly pork . Both meals were delicious .

For the first time this particular evening my friend was a caeliac . She was handed an amazing full menu . So much choice . I wonder how this compares with other eating places ?

Cotes in Bury st Edmunds never fails to please . Tonight boeuf bourgignon , so tender , followed by coffee . Another tasty meal . Also House Red was perfect .

So good to see a busy restaurant . Delicious Fish parmentier for two of us . Vegetarian option very much enjoyed by guest number 3 . Followed by Chocolate mouse and 2 creme caramel . Served by lovely staff

My partner’s chicken was only warm and he likes his food piping but he wouldn’t send it back. Still tasty. All restaurants don’t seem to do hot plates any more which is odd. The rest of the food was good. Prosecco was excellent! Service cheerful as always.

Last night for the two of us we had the delicious cocktail, vodka/ cassis basis , then poulet grille, with French fries, green beans and those delicious carrots which are back in the menu . Our deserts were Clafoutis and pancakes . Excellent service from our waitress. A perfect evening.

Last night Kir Royale for 2 . Risotto and chocolate mousse much enjoyed by my friend . Sea bass fillets and plum clafoutis enjoyed by myself . Served by lovely staff as usual .

Hadn’t been back since the pandemic. Some menu items changed but service and food standards remained the same. Great meal!!
