We asked for a quiet table ahead of time and had the best one in a corner with no other tables around! Perfect! It’s a great meeting place for old friends as there is never any sense of rush. Thank you Cote.

Lovely seat although the table for 2 was quite small however it didn’t spoil our meal or evening. I’ve wanted to eat at this restaurant for a while and I was not disappointed I would definitely recommend and plan to visit again very soon.

We eat here regularly and always enjoy great service and enjoy the lovely food. Tonight was a little disappointing as the mussels ordered we're very small, impossible to chew and not very nice - the management were superb offered a different meal or no charge. It didn't spoil our evening as everything else we had was as great as ever. A special mention should go to the staff as they always make every visit to Cote very enjoyable.

Popular restaurant: you need to book to guarentee a table early evening which is when we went after evensong at St John's. Wide choice on the menu and enthusiastic staff. Good value too.

Nice food, reasonable service except we had a special offer of a free bottle of wine and they still tried to charge us for it on the bill, despite confirming to us when we arrived about the free bottle, which is pretty crappy really.

As ever a slick performance from the team in Cambridge. Very enjoyable and relaxed lunch with sensibly priced dishes that feel home cooked. Good wine list and whilst not super cheap excellent value for money all round.

Another excellent lunch today, as always. I’ve yet to be able to say anything different. The salmon rillette was delicious and the pork tenderloin was so tender and tasted divine. Music was suddenly introduced - too loud and quickly turned down, I think it was probably eventually turned off. I prefer it off!

Excellent service from Sebastien and Monica. Calamari were a bit cold but OK. Salmon was also cold but still good enough. Excellent value for money.

Another visit to Cote, great food, we had the pork loin which was well cooked and tasty. Service as usual was great, table always kept clear of empty glasses and bottles removed promptly. Attentive but never intrusive. It’s hard to go elsewhere these days as food and service are often dire, Cote is always a positive experience.

We visit Cambridge regularly to take my 97 and 95 year old in-laws out to lunch. Cote always help with a quiet table, as they're hard of hearing. The menu is varied, there's something for all tastes, the food is good and the service is excellent. We look forwaqrd to our return.

Absolutely wonderful visit to Côte again. I always try to bring any guests I have to you. And the friends this time only come every two years. And yet you gave us our favourite 'nook' in the alcove (which was so nice since we are all getting older and background noise causes us problems). Everyone was very happy with their meal (all three courses) and I think we all had different things. The service, as always, was exemplary. It was also nice for me personally to be recognized by the young lady (Italian) who served us. A big thank you to her also for taking a photo of us all - and standing on a chair to do it! A most satisfying evening all round. Thank you.

Another lovely evening. The restaurant was not too busy at 1830. We only had Mains. The Salmon and Fillet Steak both of which were excellent. I had the Apple tart and ice cream with went down well after the perfectly cooked steak. Cote is a good reliable place for a meal when away visiting friends or on a city break.

Was a nice experience until I tried to pay and had to get up and find someone and pay by the bar which was a bit awkward as I was on a date. I still paid the service charge !!
