I had a wonderful meal yesterday with the extra treat of a free cocktail as I booked online and a free dessert because it was my birthday! We mainly chose from the September specials. Our duck and sole were cooked to perfection.

We had a wonderful early supper with delicious food and a great waiter. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, and we were served in an efficient and friendly manner by the man with the marvellous moustache. The other staff too were attentive and courteous. In the area where we were, slightly separated from the other tables, it wasn't at all noisy. It is, of course, a popular table, so we had to wait about 5 mins for it to be available.

The food is reliably great (it’s the only place my extremely picky mum will consider eating out in Cambridge), but what sets your restaurant aside from other chains is the outstanding commitment to customer service. From the moment we arrived, the maître de and our waitress (Klaudia) were attentive, professional and dedicated to ensuring we had a lovely and memorable experience. It can’t be easy doing that for multiple covers in one night, so thank you.

It was my wife's birthday and I'd asked for a window table if possible which is exactly what we got. We were then given complimentary lillet rose martinis which was unexpected but very welcome. The service was excellent throughout and the food was well cooked and well presented. My thanks to the staff at Cambridge who ensured my wife had a delightful birthday dinner.

Nice but no chateau Briande in the menu and carrots quite hard, quite slow being brought our bill. Overall food was good and chocolate fondant exquisite!

We had our wedding lunch for 12 and it was amazing. We got this private corner with curtains separating us from the others, and the food was amazing. The price is much cheaper than we expected too

It was mine and my boyfriend's year anniversary and I mentioned this when booking. Upon arrival, we were greeted with complementary glasses of pink fizzy and excellent service. The food was amazing, and my other half said it was the best steak he's ever had. Would definitely recommend and come back again when in the area!

After a sunny welcome, it all went downhill when the waitress took the order incorrectly and didn’t add the extra I requested either, didn’t see her after that, funny that! Then took ages to pay, place wasn’t even busy. Hardly surprising really. Rather than being quick to patronize perhaps she should of listened to what we were saying. Not even an apology massive fail for her!

We received a warm welcome, then given a choice of tables. Our waiters were attentive and efficient, and the food was delicious. A very pleasant experience, as always in Cote.

It was my birthday and I felt like staff did everything possible to make the evening a celebration to remember.

As usual, excellent service, good value food in a brasserie style. Always a seasonal, changing menu for starters and main courses. Cannot fault the creme caramel and is always my go to dessert. Please keep this on the menu for ever!

The evening meal was booked in advance to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were extremely pleased that the standards of the restaurant matched the experience we had in Liverpool. The menu contained a wide choice without risking over extension, which can lead to issues of quality. The staff are very friendly and the management have them well trained, well worth the tip. The food was fabulous and served on hot plates which is a must. We were too full for deserts, but shared a cheese platter which was more than enough. My one criticism was that the free wine choice was red or white only when a Rosé would have matched our food choice fully. We look forward to our next visit to Cambridge and will book again at Côte.

Unpleasant! Although I booked a week in advance, our table for two was shoe-horned into a very tight space, extremely close to another table, with a pram tight up against the other side. A large and very loud party booking was sitting close by too. This was a case of too many diners being crammed in at once to increase profits. Also it was 28degrees outside and there was no aircon on - why not? When asked, the waiter opened the window a little. The food was average. Service was quick and friendly...fortunately, as we couldn’t wait to get out!! We won’t be back.

Unfortunately, our experience of Cote tonight was not as good as it has been previously. Saturday night is perhaps not the best time to visit this restaurant. We had a table in a very noisy part of the restaurant, making it difficult to converse with others in our party, and for the waiter to hear us.The service was slow although, as always, the staff were friendly and professional, the food took a long time to arrive, and my meal was luke warm when it did. My Creme Brûlée dessert was bland and disappointing. Sadly, I think it will be a while before we are back.

Sea trout was to die for. Service immaculate. Setting well maintained. Lovely atmosphere, always enjoy the Cambridge restauranr.

We eat here regularly and as usual today's meal was excellent. I recommend this restaurant for food ,friendly staff and a good atmosphere.

Excellent service from our waitress Kamilla. (Thank You Kamilla) Enjoyed the food. Great starters. Delicious deserts. Only one dish was a let down - the pork dish had cracking that was soft and rubbery. Spoke to the manager (Kamilla was serving elsewhere) Manager shrugged her shoulders and said that sometimes happens and walked away. Trying not to let that spoil what was otherwise a good evening

Overall the experience was good. As a party of five we had a mixture of starters, mains and desserts of which all was good apart from the lamb which was very very chewy, more sheep than lamb if you know what i mean.
