As ever, excellent service and delicious food. The calamari were crispy and tasty,,unlike so much other said one gets in British restaurants. Generous portions.particularly like the way there is always an ice bucket for the wine which for a restaurant with these reasonable prices is not always the case.

Wait staff polite. Steak was tough and improperly cooked. Angry customer near us was not dealt with properly and it made us feel unsafe. Wine selections by the glass were minimal and the one that was suggested was only fair. The temperature was stifling and was so hot it made my companion feel ill. Not what I expected from an allegedly fine French restaurant. Better choices in Cambridge.

I had a lovely steak and goats cheese starter. I've been to cote a lot and always have a great time. Nice ambience, friendly staff, lovely food.

We had the 1/2 chicken and the chicken was good, crispy on the outside and juicy within. The potato gratin was a bit dry and not very hot, it should be piping hot from the oven, and there were only a few french beans hiding under the chicken. To eat healthy, I would like more vegetables and less meat but others may not agree. Our friends like the chocolate mousse and the creme brûlée very much. A good dining experience.

For the 1st time ever at Cambridge Cote, my steak was overdone. I returned it, and the replacement was the same! 3rd time was OK. I think the problem lay in the quality of the steak which was very stringy. Cote may be trying to save money by buying poor quality meat but I reckon customers would prefer to pay a £ or so extra for quality.

Good food cooked well and served with care and courtesy. We have eaten here many time and have never have never come away disappointed. We'll be back no doubt

We had a wonderful time at cote in Cambridge. We were a large group and we were thoroughly looked after. The food was delicious and would recommend this restaurant.

Good central location and helpful staff. We ordered goat's cheese salad to share as a starter - really delicious. We both ordered duck which the menu stated was served pink. It had spent a while under the hot lights in the kitchen so had a brownish look. Waiter offered to replace both. My friend kept hers (and a free glass of red wine). I opted to replace and it was fine. Sauce nothing special. Free coffee offered which was appreciated. Overall, a good experience.

We visit Cote fairly often and usually like it a lot. However, the edge was taken off our enjoyment this time because of the over-use of mustard in the dressings.

Great service from the always friendly staff. They obviously enjoy their work as they take great care to ensure you are having a good experience. And, as always the quality of the food is spot on.

As always the food, drink and staff were great, but a bit noisy later on. No complaints though. All of us at the table were happy with everything.

Food was average. Atmosphere was very good. Very difficult to get waiters attention but when we did they were very polite. We used to be regular customers but not anymore.

Cote Brasserie successfully gives the French experience. It is a relaxed place to dine with good service and a nice range of dishes on the menu. It is my 'go to' place when in Cambridge.

Steaks were very good. Quick and efficient service. But restaurant noisy so difficult to hold a conversation. The tables are very close to each other, but still happy to return.

Had a lovely meal, warm welcome and service great as always.The only slight disappointment was that my most favourite starter, Crab mayonnaise seems to have been discontinued, hope this only temporary!

Food was delicious.Staff were friendly and free drinks for birthday were very enjoyable.I particularly liked my dessert which was pear crumble and ice-cream.My friend enjoyed her creme brulee.

This is the first time I have visited Cote outside of the great value set menu times so ate from the a la carte menu. The veal escalop was extremely good as were the lamb chops. You do however have to buy sides as an extra. Service was very friendly and efficient in spite of being very busy.

A lovely restaurant with friendly, attentive staff and beautiful tasting authentic French food. The wine was well selected and the restaurant itself is in a wonderful Cambridge location. We will definitely visit again soon.

Always a lovely meal and service. We go to Cote very regularly and it is friendly and reliable for a good value meal. The monthly specials and pre theatre menu keep a good change in variety- Keep it up !

Expensive having to pay extra for vegetables on top and portions are small. Otherwise great service and good food. Would go again if prices came down.

Great menu with seasonal options, including English asparagus and Jersey Royal new potatoes. I just love their flavoursome French poulet and mushroom sauce. Good selection of desserts too. Attentive service with a smile.

Excellent meal with superb service. Recommend the Cote de boeuf to which we added the creamed spinach followed by the chocolate mousse which was OK and the praline crepe which was very good
