We had a lovely evening - it was a catch-up with an old friend. We asked for a quiet table and were given a very peaceful position which we appreciated. We ate very well indeed. We were never rushed.

I had a really nice steak tartar followed by a cote de boeuff, the wine was excellent and worth the money! The waiter was very friendly. Thanks again

Just returned from a really great evening at Cote in Cambridge. The food was delicious, and all the staff were so charming, friendly and efficient. Extra thoughtful little touches made it a really special birthday celebration. Many thanks!

Excellent service in spite of the fact that it was a busy Saturday lunchtime and thoughtfully chosen table for our party. Good food in generous portions and excellent value wine - a better than average selection.

Pleasant atmosphere and staff. Food was fine. Service slowed down when it got busy which was not a problem for us. We would go back. Early evening menu is particularly good value.

Excellent food, had the crab mayo, sirloin steak and frozen berries and would highly recommend all three courses. The evening felt a bit rushed at times but understandable given our booking was at 10pm. Staff were extremely helpful. Didn't hurt that they encouraged us to come again with the promise of a free bottle of wine! Will definitely return

Lovely breakfast, especially the poached eggs, which were perfect. However, slightly disappointing service today. Not up to their usual weekend standard at the Cambridge location.

Great food and excellent value. Perfect for pre theatre meal in an authentic French bistro atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended and will return again in the near future.

Nice ambience, good service (perhaps a little overdone) - food was good (although nothing special) but portions small - not the place to go if you are hungry - not expensive, so on the whole, worth trying again

Very Good food. Great location in heart of Cambridge. Thoughtful and tasteful interior - upbeat too . All staff clearly care about thoughtfully delivering a memorable experience. And the food? Expect much and get more for a surprisingly reasonable tab

As always the food was delicious - the Breton fish stew was full of tasty fish and shellfish. The calamari was enough for two, although my husband ate it all!. Service as usual was excellent.

Good value, good service and delicious food. We always eat there when we are in Cambridge. It is always nearly full when we go there compared with other restaurants and cafes around. That tells you something!

Good quality food and service. Slow paced relaxed meal so not someplace for a quick bite. Specials menu, although printed seperately does contain specials n9t necessarily available.

Excellent food and service as always. We were a mixed party of omnivores and vegetarians and there was plenty of choice for all. We'll be back for the next suitable event.

Pretty good food and service. The 3 courses lunch-pretheater menu was pretty good for the price. The sausages for children should be cooked a little more.

Cote offers good French brasserie food reasonably priced in a pretty setting. What makes it a really pleasant experience is the exceptionally lovely staff and service

It was a busy pre theatre dinner service and I think there were problems in the kitchens. Our starters took a long time to arrive and by the time the mains were served we had 15 minutes to eat them. We spoke to staff a couple of times about this and they did apologise for the slowness. In the event it was not as enjoyable as usual. The restaurant did give us 50% off our food bill which was a generous gesture. We will return to the restaurant as we usually have very good food and the service is good.

We enjoyed prompt service and good food, in a restaurant close to where we were going for a concert. The price was very reasonable for central Cambridge.

Excellent service and food as always! If you have not booked, best to get there by 12.15 for lunch because it fills up very quickly.

Very slow service. 1 hour 40 minutes for two courses from the pre-theatre menu. They took the service charge off the bill. Food was as good as usual.

Good food and good service as usual from Cote Brasserie. The restaurant was full from about 6:30pm (on a Thursday), so I would advise booking.

The meals were good and enjoyed by our group, but a greater choice for vegetarians would be appreciated. The cider was delicious: fragrant and mild.

Top marks! Its like having a bit of Paris just around the corner. Do try their rewards scheme, as you can get free starters/ drinks which is in itself worth it.! For March their early 3 course meal is worth it for £12.95, 7 starters to choose from inc Moules; terrine & whitebait. Mains: I recommend the seafood linguine or sea bream; dessert - Normandy butter apple crumble or chocolate mousse [ very chocolatey! ]. Go on treat yourself !!
