Staff really attentive and helpful with everything, such as providing high chairs, having a list of who ordered what (we were a large party), bringing out the birthday cake, and the birthday boy's hot drink was on the house at the end :)

what a lovely lunch! Made to feel very welcome on arrival. Food was delicious as was the service.

We ordered the Valentine lunch. For the 1st time ever in a Cote Restaurant, we had to complain, the lamb chops we ordered for the main were too large and rather tough and was served with just a few peas, nothing else.We ordered an alternative from the a la carte menu which was ok. Of course we had to wait, while it was cooked. I did think the Valentine meal was overpriced and all in all, we were disappointed. Some of our drinks were deducted from the bill but we did not get a real apology which I would have thought should have come from the manager.

Very wonderful dining experience. My friend absolutely loved it and looks forward to repeating it again!

General ambiance was mediocre but had a good time overall!

Service was good, layout was nice, music was peaceful it’s just a shame the food was below average. The duck was burnt and over salted I couldn’t finish. Best part was the carrots I ordered as a side. Wouldn’t be going back in a hurry.

Service at Cote has always been first class. Just the right amount of time between courses. Many restaurants serve too much food in their main courses but Cote has it about right so you are not deterred from having a light starter. Comfortable seating and a good all round dining experience.

Everything was delicious, and made a lovely prelude to the Ballet. A special treat for our granddaughter.

Booked online as it was a special occasion, mother's birthday. Seated straight away. Service was impeccable as always. Would have given six stars but didn't quite get my dessert right, asked for lemon sorbet and got raspberry. Was not a problem and was delicious. Meal and service 1st rate.

Little cold towards the end of our meal at cote Canterbury but we had great service, delicious food, cocktails and a lovely atmosphere- thank you! Just marked atmosphere down slightly due to temperature

We always have a good meal at Cote. The food is very good and the atmosphere in the restaurant is always good. The service is great and they are super with our daughter‘a food allergies whether it is in Sevenoaks where we live, London or Canterbury (where our daughter is for her university). Will always recommend Cote.

The flea in the ointment for this restaurant is always the location of the cloakrooms/toilets. The restaurant is very popular and normally crowded. So, that takes care of the ground floor. The problem with the lavatories is there is only one on the ground floor. So far so good. But the other, more spacious loos, with more cubicles and urinals, is way up on the third floor. Unless you are young and fit customer and prepared briskly to sprint up three flights of stairs, then you, the customer, might have an unseemly problem. Notwithstanding all the above, a thoroughly recommended restaurant. Staff are first class and the food is very good. It is centrally positioned in the middle of the old city and a stroll away from Canterbury Cathedral. Thoroughly recommended (apart from the loos) !

Set menu was excellent value, especially the chicken with sarladaise potatoes which was even better with side orders of minted peas and carrots.

Very tasty meal with excellent service. We used the January voucher that entitled us to £1 off the meal...not a great saving! The early set priced meal is excellent value anyway.....but it sounded like a great saving!

Fantastic food, great service, attentive staff. The only remotely negative thing to say was I had the duck breast which I also had a few weeks ago. It was perfect except this time the cherries in the sauce seemed quite sharp in flavour compared to last time.

We are regular Cote customers and the last visit was up to the usual high standard
