Quite disappointed compared to our first visit. Food somewhat disappointing and not to normal standard. Calamari warm with little flavour chicken rubbery and bland

As reliable as ever, good food, the usual modest Cote proportions (i.e. you have to pay extra if you want green veg) and pleasant ambience. A star lost for not putting out a clean knife for the main course. The one used for bread buttering was simply neatly removed from side plate to table for reuse. Whatever happened to etiquette?

We had a lovely meal prior to coming to the Welsh millennium centre to watch a show. Staff were friendly, accommodating and the food was delicious. Lovely atmosphere and buzz about the place.

Excellent service. Made to feel welcome when we arrived. Our waiter was very efficient, professional and friendly. He was one of the best waiters we have had anywhere. We have been to the Bay Brasserie many times and have always had very good food and service.

Absolutely delighted with the service , couldn’t ask for more, waiter was really friendly and professional and on top of everything getting us water and extra cutlery when needed without promoting. The food was delicious, we as a family of 4 all cleared our plates! Will definitely be going here again next time we are in Cardiff! Only downside was the noise, there was a large party in celebrating a birthday and their level of chat made it difficult to hear each other- but this didn’t effect our overall experience.

The steaks we both had were so unevenly cooked, both asked for medium and was raw in some parts and over done in others, also both so fatty only able to eat half of it

Food excellent, waiter rude and made us feel very unwelcome. We were told what time we had to vacate the table before we'd ordered our food. Toilet sinks blocked and we were told we could not wash our hands after using the facilities. Not my best experience of this restaurant, although funily enough a tip was still expected to be given!

Great food, friendly staff, excellent value for money. Very busy and a bit noisy but it was at the time of the Urdd Eisteddfod so we felt very fortunate to get a table.

Another delicious meal at our local Cote Restaurant. 4 of us ate from the Prestige Menu and had plenty of choice in all parts of the meal Only problem - we chose 13.00 on the day of a matinee at the nearby Wales Millennium Centre - so Cote was packed - but the staff coped bravely with the deluge of guest all the same time

Good food, lots of choice, slow but good service, felt quite cramped in - too many tables, not enough room. Definitely recommend for location if heading to the millennium centre.

Attentive staff, definitely recommend booking if pre theatre, very easy to book online, good choice of menu and excellent value. Recommend the calamari. Consistently good in my opinion

the food was very nice, but the service could be improved. So from the mains until we got the deserts it was more than 30 minutes, then it was only delivered half of it and it took some time to get everything. Also for a table of 10 only to get 2 baskets of bread it not much in it was also disappointing. Overall the food was good but the service need to be improved.

Never been before but as I was going to the theatre with a friend, thought it would be good to try as it was so close. The food was lovely and the waitress was friendly and helpful. The only downside was some of the tables that seated two people were very close together and as it was quite busy, you did feel like you were in the conversation with the people on the table next to you.

As always great service great value super food and drink. You never let us down.

The service & food was not of the usual high standard, fish waa dry & had either sat a while after cooking or was not fresh! Pre booked Pre Theatre party of 5; specifically stating due at Theatre by 7.20. table booked for 5.30 meals ordered at 5.55 & we were served at 7 20! We bolted our food , paid & ran, missing the start of show disrupting other theatre goers. We will not risk this again. The restaurant was busy with pre booked Theatre goers & not staffed adequately to cope, when we reminded the waiter we were going to the Theatre & time was passing he shrugged a reply of "everyone is going to the Theatre " Very Disatisfied !

Really helpful staff who were flexible and generous in responding to a booking issue so we didn’t miss out on an offer. Food beautifully presented and tasty. Several of our group hadn’t been to Cote before and were very impressed at the quality of food and service. As the evening got later and the restaurant busier, the service became a little unpredictable and staff very busy, but always polite. A good plac3 fo4 a gjroup dinner st a reasonable price.

When I booked the table I added a note to say we would be celebrating my dad's birthday. When we arrived the staff were nothing but warm and welcoming. We arrived early so our table wasnt ready but they soon seated us elsewhere. When we were sat the brought over a bottle of champagne and wished my dad a very happy birthday. This touch meant everything to me (and him) and we had a fantastic meal. Service was impeccable as was the food. Thank you so so much.

Great food and wonderful service. We were seated promptly, our waiter suggested wines and even went as far as to send us a butter that would work well with our steaks and the wine! 5* service we will Definitely be back!

Front of house gentleman is superb, perfect for the role, what a star. Waiter really professional. Food excellent, very good value for money. We come often, everyone should try Côte, they won't be disappointed

I wish Cote would pay their staff a decent wage and stop adding the ‘discretionary ‘ service charge. I feel insulted by this. Also ‘free wine’ not available on all menus. I’m not impressed.

I’ve returned to Cote Cardiff Bay several times . What draws me back is the great quality food but fantastic staff interaction to ensure a memorable service and relaxing meal

Constantly trying to attract attention but ignored. Not asked if we wanted dessert when we wanted this course and coffee. Waited a long time between first course and second. Good, but not as good as usual. Staff were attentive but the there didn’t appear to be enough given the number of customers. It wouldn’t put me off visiting again - the food was lovely.
