Excellent service. Made to feel welcome when we arrived. Our waiter was very efficient, professional and friendly. He was one of the best waiters we have had anywhere. We have been to the Bay Brasserie many times and have always had very good food and service.

All of us really enjoyed all our courses, everything was cooked well and tasty plus the service was also fantastic, everyone serving us was friendly and helpful. Perfect!

All excellent except a delay to our main course in the kitchen meant we had to miss our dessert in order to get to the theatre on time.

First time dinning here but may well become our regular choice after the opera. Absolutely loved the ambience, and the very quiet jazz playing in the background was perfect. Staff very friendly and polite other than one slightly sultry waitress, but nothing major. We can all have a bad day. Excellent wine, and delicious food. All in all a wonderful dinning experience.

Had a problem with one of the starters but was very pleased it was not charged for. Otherwise it was a delicious meal

Service and food very good. A slight misunderstanding regards our dessert order led to the wrong crepes being brought out, but that was generously discounted entirely from our bill despite only my partner not eating hers. As I had eaten mine I only expected one dessert to be discounted so cannot fault Côte on service/customer satisfaction

Attentive staff, definitely recommend booking if pre theatre, very easy to book online, good choice of menu and excellent value. Recommend the calamari. Consistently good in my opinion

The food was amazing but we had to wait an hour for our starter followed by another hour for our main. The manager, however did give us a complimentary bottle of wine to make up for it.

Really nice meal, nice ambience. Enjoyed the whole evening. Service was prompt, pleasant and efficient. Reasonably priced. Food was well cooked, fresh and hot. Service charge automatically added, but option to remove if you ask. However, we were happy to pay the additional.

Beautiful food, great value and lovely atmosphere. The only thing I would say was the service could have been better. Plenty of staff on but had to ask to place main order and dessert as we were kept waiting a while whilst staff were just chatting amongst themselves. Also no side plates on tables for our bread. This aside I would visit again and hopefully staff will be a bit more prompt although they were very polite.

Excellent meal with good service . Food was well cooked and flavours were excellent. This was a pre theatre dinner and service was quick and efficient but not rushed.

It is our favourite place to go in Cardiff Bay. Perfect for pre or post Theatre dining, marvellous.

The meal was lovely, but the bill was completely booked wrong, coffees added on even though we paid independily, we were charge for 3 course, when 2 of us had 2 course, & 2 had 3 course, & we were made to feel uncomfortable when we pointed this out

Food excellent, great value for money and efficient friendly service. Only moan is that there was birthday party of about 20 people next to us and they were extremely noisy.

We went for Mother's Day brunch after running the Cardiff 10k so we were hungry and ready to celebrate! What an excellent value brunch Cote offered. Champagne, tea or coffee, juice and a full range of breakfast treats. Each of our specific preferences were noted and served with a smile. Thank you Cote for making my Mother's Day brunch a real treat!

Thank you so much for looking after us. Enjoyed the food especially the boudin noir special. Main courses were fab - I enjoyed my garlic butter sirloin and my partner equally enjoyed her peppercorn steak. Crepe for dessert complete with candle and singing service topped off a lovely day of celebration. Your staff were all lovely with my five year old daughter who devoured her sausage and mash. Food was excellent. It was very busy as it was Mother’s Day so service was a little slow - we had been seated for about 15 mins before we were offered a drink. Overall, we had a lovely meal.

Went to cote in Cardiff bay for my mums birthday and pre theatre drinks. Our waitress was amazing 10 out of 10 for service and for the food. I love cote you never disappoint (gutted I didn’t go for the French onion soup now but there is always next time) keep up the amazing food and fantastic service guys x

Sent an email already but no reply. Staff were lovely however meal very overpriced. Steak very fatty Fish pie very underwhelming .Given a small table where we had to move every 5 minutes to let other diners exit and enter. Would not recommend.

I think you should stop charging the gratuity of 12.5% on wine automatically. Wine is an important part of the dinning/eating experience for my family and to be surcharged for this privilege is completely wrong. Yesterday our bill was over £110 which was split 50/50 wine and food. Being charged another £7 on top of what 1s relatively expensive wine is just wrong in my opinion.

The service was excellent as was the food.My only small criticism is that the white wine was not chilled enough. We went for a meal early evening before going to the opera so the restaurant was full and consequently quite noisy. A later meal would probably result in a quieter more relaxed atmosphere.

Great food and very tasty good service and didn’t wait long but not rushed either my steak was cooked to perfection the cream caramel was the best I have tried can’t wait to go back
