Very good service and delicious food. Extensive menu and choice of set and a la carte. Busy and vibrant atmosphere. Would definitely return and try another venue.

Another great experience at this restaurant. However, twice in a week we experienced the worst mussels ever! The staff were apologetic and very helpful but very disappointing to see the kitchen are still serving dreadful quality mussels, they should change suppliers or remove them from the menu.

Another delicious meal at our local Cote Restaurant. 4 of us ate from the Prestige Menu and had plenty of choice in all parts of the meal Only problem - we chose 13.00 on the day of a matinee at the nearby Wales Millennium Centre - so Cote was packed - but the staff coped bravely with the deluge of guest all the same time

Great food and drink. The carb bisque was very good and the veal special was exceptional. Would highly recommend for the food, service and atmosphere.

Beautiful food, great value and lovely atmosphere. The only thing I would say was the service could have been better. Plenty of staff on but had to ask to place main order and dessert as we were kept waiting a while whilst staff were just chatting amongst themselves. Also no side plates on tables for our bread. This aside I would visit again and hopefully staff will be a bit more prompt although they were very polite.

Service was a little slow but otherwise great! My fillet steak was cooked to perfection, the best I've ever had, as was the beef bourguignon. Been here several times and the food is consistently properly cooked and tasty. I'll be back again soon. It's good to have a large gluten free menu to choose from.

what a perfect evening. we arrived in Cardiff on a wet Friday night wondering about the merits of Joe Smit wanting to leave the roof of the Millennium Stadium open tomorrow, and then we had just the most fantastic evening at Cote brasserie. Firstly we were welcomed by the restaurant with a bottle of Champagne for our 20th wedding anniversary and then we had just a great meal. The staff were great, the food was top notch, the wine list was great and not expensive. The perfect start to our weekend

We were at the restaurant celebrating a birthday before going to WMC. Staff were very attentive, food was very nice. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice. Will return soon. Well done keep up the good work.

Very disappointing experience. Every time we have been to cote it has been a lovely experience. This time it was as if we were in a rowdy pub. The rugby had been on and people were drunk and shouting and banging the table along with very loud singing. My boyfriend and I could not even have a conversation. I made it quite clear to the staff I was unhappy with the noise and they proceeded to do nothing. Our fillet steak was over done and the wrong pudding was brought out. We were told it was on the house and they would bring the right one. My boyfriend made a complaint and we were given 20% off the bill. To then work our that we were over charged. My boyfriend has emailed to complain and we hope that someone will reply as soon as possible. I am also debating not to visit cote at Cardiff bay for my graduation and booking somewhere else as the overall experience was awful.

As always, we had a lovely meal at Cote. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and courteous. Thank you to all at Cote. Will be visiting again in the near future.

Once again Cote didn't disappoint. Good, friendly and helpful service. There were six of us and all meals were of a high standard. I had pork belly and it was cooked to perfection. Good range of wines to choose from. We will definitely be back.

Visited yesterday prior to the Nick Cave gig. Delicious meal in a lovely atmosphere and the team looked after me really well - extra important when you’re on your own. Restaurant overlooks the Millennium Centre and beautiful Norwegian Church.

Service, food, surroundings 1st class. Meal was superb. Definitely go back. Was a bit put off when booking to find there was a 12% gratuity put on bill so was prepared to have that taken off and give our own tip but happy to pay this by the end of the meal without question.

When I booked the table I added a note to say we would be celebrating my dad's birthday. When we arrived the staff were nothing but warm and welcoming. We arrived early so our table wasnt ready but they soon seated us elsewhere. When we were sat the brought over a bottle of champagne and wished my dad a very happy birthday. This touch meant everything to me (and him) and we had a fantastic meal. Service was impeccable as was the food. Thank you so so much.

Top quality food, good service, relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices the only downside was the restaurant could have been warmer it was a bit chilly. Very helpful and accommodating when booking. I'll definitely be back.

We went for Mother's Day brunch after running the Cardiff 10k so we were hungry and ready to celebrate! What an excellent value brunch Cote offered. Champagne, tea or coffee, juice and a full range of breakfast treats. Each of our specific preferences were noted and served with a smile. Thank you Cote for making my Mother's Day brunch a real treat!

It was a birthday lunch with my team and all staff couldn't do enough for us. Also, my food was a complimentary which was such a nice touch. Food was great value for money and service was quick. They even sang happy birthday to me (which was nice but pretty embarassing!) We all said we would definitely come again. Thanks to all at Cote! James

Choose COTE after a previous visit a few years ago. Went for the Cardiff bay as opposed to central. Excellent service from the start, greeting was pleasant. Relaxed atmosphere, food was outstanding to taste and also to look at. Waiter and waitresses were extremely patient and engaging. Overall a great night for myself and my wife on a date night we will defo be returning. Well done and hats off too all.

Service was lovely. I am gluten free but it was no issue at all. Some restaurants make you feel like a burden but it was very easy and accommodating in Côte. Can’t wait to return

Had a super meal on Friday. The place was packed out, but the food was of the highest quality. Thoroughly enjoyed our pre-theatre two course menu. We will be back x

There was very little GF choice and zero flexibility when trying to order as your pre prepped which I found extremely disappointing
