Wow that poultry grille was superb. All of us ordered it with a side of carrots and spinach. Superb, great value for money and a free bottle of wine on the January offer. Restaurant was busy and thriving, lovely atmosphere.

We visited as a couple yesterday, we received a warm welcome and atmosphere. There was great food served, we ordered starters of calamari and french onion soup and both had chicken with frites, always tasty.

The whole time spent at this restaurant was very pleasant and relaxed. You are made to feel special. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I dont usually enjoy a "chain restaurant " so I'm surprised this is. Lovely food very tasty . Great staff nothing was too much trouble with lots of smiles. Very good value for money. Will be returning.........a lot!

Excellent the food came at the right times,not to quick or slow, and all the staff had a smile on there face and the food was great and the surroundings nice and clean , I don't think I saw a table left with loads of empty plates and glasses, one thing I really like in a resteraunt is attentive staff ,they all seemed to be busy and it was easy to catch there eye if you needed something . Would recommend whole heartedly well done staff.

Met cousins for brunch and as usual enjoyed our food and surroundings. Staff here are always very friendly but don't constantly bother you which suits me fine.

The service tonight was absolutely second to none. The waiting and catering staff should be congratulated for their efforts. The quality of the food in Côte in town has far outstripped the Bay for some time.

Excellent visit. In Cardiff for one night and booked For dinner. The steak was excellent. So often on some places it can be hit or miss with a sirloin. Côte is always excellent. Best calamari for a long time.

We often visit Côte for a pre-theatre/concert supper. It never disappoints - we love the menu and choice of wines, and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Another lovely post performance dinner at Cote. Had starters and main from the specials menu - both excellent. Had voucher for complimentary bottle of wine from a previous visit. Excellent service. All in all a really great evening.

A disappointing experience. It took +15 mins for anyone to bring us menus / offer drinks from when we were seated. We had to ask three times for mayo for the main course It took +20 mins for someone to come so I could pay the bill. For each of the above scenarios, there were no staff in the restaurant area to attract for assistance, but they could be seen chatting together in the bar area.

Thanks for accommodating us, nice staff and atmosphere. Complaints would be the waiting time in between courses was too long and we had a few unimpressed with the quality of the steaks and other dishes cooked.

New Years Eve and a fantastic welcome, waitress was lovely and very helpful The food was great all five of us really enjoyed our meals The restaurant had a great atmosphere which really kicked off our New Years celebration

We enjoyed a delicious three course lunch from the prestige set menu. The warm beetroot starter was divine, loved the pork loin with dauphinois potatoes but the star of the day was the creme caramel...it was just gorgeous. We love the staff at the CARDIFF central branch too, they are so lovely and the service is superb!

Lovely welcome, delicious food and good service. It was a pity some things were off the menu but it didn’t spoil our evening. The toilet paper had run out in the ladies toilets and while this was rectified quickly it shouldn’t ever happen in a restaurant like this one.

great food and excellent service, the only thing I do not like about Cote is the 12 1/2% service charge they try to add, I much prefer to decide if and how much tip I leave.
