Great atmosphere with very attentive staff. Good service and most importantly delicious food.

As usual we enjoyed a pre theatre meal in Cote .We took advantage of the cocktail offer this March and it was a very enjoyable start to the evening .

Lovely ambience and food . Service attentive and not fussy.

True tastes of France,expertly presented, staff very attentive, can't wait to return. Maybe not to Cardiff my nearest one is in Shrewsbury Thank you for a delightful evening.

The staff were really friendly which made all the difference as I was on my own.

Great food and service. Seating was not what I'd asked for, despite having booked a week in advance, but there were no better options on the night (they obviously don't read your requests and preferences when taking a booking). Probably try somewhere else next time though, but it was fine otherwise.

Had a lovely experience, great staff who went out of their way to make our visit perfect. The food was delicious and plenty to fill a hungry belly. Will be returning.

We came here for a birthday celebration. It was a lovely occasion. The food and atmosphere were great and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable.

The Cote restaurant is a favourite of ours in Cardiff city centre. We booked a table for 6pm before walking across to the St.David's Hall for a Catherine Jenkins concert. The restaurant was almost full when we arrived but we were served quickly by the very professional waiters and waitresses. We very much enjoyed our meals from the Prestige menu available before 7pm. The Breton chicken and the Pork Belly were excellent. We left in good time for our show.

The savoy cabbage with the pork belly was not great but after pointing this out to the waiter , who apologised and offered recompense. Would prefer to have a little time between course ( but understand how busy the restaurant is) otherwise lovely experience.

We booked online and received the free Gin & Tonic specials for March. The food was exceptional and the service great. We will return for sure.

Really disappointing, having booked to have the French 75 Menu for a a party of 5 we arrived at 18.30 and were advised that the cocktail “was off” as there were no lemons left! Strange that when our Calamari arrived that there was a lemon! A Kir Royale was offered as an alternative- the ONLY alternative! and we were also told the April Special pudding was also off. As we had come for the April menu this was also disappointing. Whilst I felt really sorry for the staff who were lovely throughout, I feel very frustrated by the whole Côte experience. 1) please don’t put out a seasonal offer that you can’t deliver 2) please don’t give an excuse which is clearly a lie! 3) if things run out please (which they clearly will) offer more than one alternative 4) hearing the tables next us complain on the same points as us doesn’t make for a nice atmosphere for dining, especially from 18.30 in the early evening! Based on this dreadful experience I will not be returning or recommending Côte to friends, family or business colleagues and will stay away.

Very pleasant experience was had by us all. The food and service were excellent. We were served quickly and efficiently which perfect as we were going to a concert in St David’s Hall.

Usual high standard of Food and service , you can always rely on Cote , which ever one you choose , we use the brand a lot and very rarely have a cause for complaint , when we have , it’s sorted immediate without any fuss at all

A great place to have lovely food. The surroundings make for a friendly atmosphere and the staff work hard to ensure you have the best experience.

A group of us meet every month and always enjoy good food, good service and a great setting. We hope to enjoy many more meals in this excellent restaurant.

Great lunch with friends. Fries missing for 1 guest & it took long time to appear & involved more than 1 member of staff to be resolved.

Very good. Enjoyed food very much and complimentary martini was lush! Star only removed as they forgot my starter but quickly rectified. Will come back again and would recommend!

Tremendous food as always, excellent waiter (Harrison), plus a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Thank you to all the staff. (And the blood orange cocktails were superb too!)

Excellent as usual, lovely welcome from staff and food was beautiful. Please come to mumbles Swansea as bistro Pierre are making a fortune and no where near as good as cote

Excellent as usual. Always enjoy the Menu. There was not a dessert that I liked so I made a special request to the chef. He made a crepe with oranges and ice cream that was amazing

The food was lovely, tasted great and good portion. Lovely, friendly and fast service. We will definitely be back again to try more of the menu.

There was a horrid atmosphere. The food was overpriced, the service was excellent. Overall I did not enjoy my time at Côte, I had to eat a Burger King on my way home to avoid being left hungry

Had a wonderful lunch, so tasty and the service and staff were excellent and appreciated the free cocktail which was very good, thank you all. The weather was exceptional for February and we wanted to sit outside which was no problem for the staff they were very accommodating, even though they were very busy.
