Côte Cardiff Central

I have been to Cote in Cardiff city centre about 6 times , and have always found it a pleasure to dine here. Great service, good food with a very varied menu, all in pleasant surroundings. Would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

Food was amazing as was the serves will defo come back here!! One thing I realised that the rib eye streak has been froze before cooked as i like it rare you can tell the colouring of it apart from that amazing !!!!

It was lovely to eat gluten free with confidence. The meals were delicious and good value on the lunchtime menu. The service was efficient and friendly.

The new website is not as good as previously as there is no box to put in any requests. e.g. I am waiting for a knee replacement operation so stairs are a problem for me and thus I used to request a table on the ground floor. That option is not available on the new web site. The restaurant otherwise is still very good value for money.

Service was good but the food was very rich. I had the mushroom and spinach crepe and it was smothered in cheese sauce but was intended to be a lite bite. The rest of our group enjoyed thiers

The quality of food was excellent and our complimentary bottle of wine was also very pleasing. We enjoyed sea bass and veal, crème caramel and tarte citron, with fresh mint tea to complete a very enjoyable experience.

A frequent meeting place for us for breakfast or just a coffee. Good menu full of interesting options and very pleasant staff who are always happy to help.

Excellent meal and great service. Lovely relaxed atmosphere on a busy Saturday evening. Quality is consistent whichever restaurant we visit. I would highly recommend Cote Brasseries.

Visited to meet a friend not aeen for years. Staff very friendly and food lovely. Eggs benedict!!. Surroundings relaxing and even though it was mothers day we were not hurried even though they were busy.

Excellent food as usual always eat in cote when in cardiff. Always go for the french onion sousp for starters friends came with us last visit for the first time and they enjoyd the meal

We have returned to Cardiff Central many times. The service and food are always excellent. The front of house team, led by the General Manager, look after your every need. Cote is our favourite restaurant

Visited with a client. We wanted a relatively light lunch and quick service as we both had engagements to move onto. Greeting was warm, service attentive & no delay in order taking. We had the 2 course fixed price lunch menu - food was great. My whitebait was freshly cooked; chicken chasseur had good flavours. Excellent.

The lunch/early evening menu is excellent value for money with a good choice of options. Tasty food, friendly and efficient service in a really pleasant atmosphere.

A very enjoyable lunch from start to finish, our food was very well cooked and presented. The service was professional, timely and unobtrusive. No faults with either the restaurant or facilities.

Great service and menu with no nonsense brasserie food. It's really good to have a separate gluten free menu as well. Ideal city central location.

Service here is consistently excellent. Not always the case in other branches. Good good and the early doors set menu is excellent value. Highly recommended.

Been going to Cote ever since they opened in Cardiff Bay. Always fabulous. Best chain restaurant around. Staff very friendly. Menu always good. We are lucky in Catdiff to have 2 Cote restaurants.

Great restaurant with a good feel to it and excellent service. The food was wonderful and was reasonable value for money. we had an upstairs window seat which was just perfect. My only complaint is the 12.5% service charge which is added to the bill. Accepting that it is optional I always feel that things like that should be left to the individual. A lovely evening and we will go again.

As always the service was excellent, the staff are so welcome and friendly. The food was really lovely and the lunchtime menu very good value for money. Also as I am coeliac I have to have gluten free and I am always very well catered for. Top marks all round from me

Good food and service. Would go again and recommend ro friends. The early bord menu is fantastic value. Never disappointed with Cote, always yasty food.

The service was a little slow. There was no bread with the Breton soup (even though it was promised) and the crepe desserts were cold. Everything else was delicious though.

Wonderful meal at Cote Cardiff Central. Staff excellent. Four of us and all four meals delicious. Love Cote. Consistently good. Never had a bad meal or experience.

A nice atmosphere for Mother's Day and staff were friendly and efficient. Food was beautiful and good value for money. I would definitely recommend making a reservation through the website, as they told me they were fully booked when I phoned them!

Always great sevice. Enjoyed the mussels this visit as it seems as if they have changed the sauce since my visit in December. Good atmosphere!!

Lovely food, staff helpful as always. There's something on the menu for everyone with the early bird offering great value for money and great food. Loved the atmosphere. Will be returning. It's certainly one of my favourites in cardifd

Charming staff with good sense of humour. A very good awareness of gluten free requirements, excellent idea to put gluten free 'flags' on GF meals. Shame you can't make Coupe Noire dessert gluten free as it's delicious but good advice from duty manager to try ice cream with white choc sauce instead.

Food very good, service and staff excellent. Only negative point 2 had the fish with puy lentils and the lentils were a little over done and had gone a bit softer than usual.

Have been to Cote several times over the past few weeks.Always go for the pre theatre meal There last week,the service was excellent. As senior citizens we usually get ignored,not here Food is just right hot very tasty and beautifully presented. Did not give a six,as at present they do not have elderflower pressie,management take note😀 Would also recommend the breakfast menu

Excellent meal and service by an attentive manager and staff. I will recommend this restaurant to my friends. The Breton fish stew and tarte aux pommes were delicious.

Food, service and ambience all excellent. The 'welcomer' and our table waitress were particularly friendly and efficient, well done to both and thank you very much.

From the initial greeting to the good night at the door everything was perfect. The staff operation was slick, the food really tasty and well presented and the ambience first class. We'll done.

sorry but our anniversary dinner was ruined there was something in my meal I called the manager and he looked at it did not know what it was and took it away, he was appolagetic and offered me another meal but by this time my wife was not feeling like her meal because I thought it was something that looked and felt like a woodlouse , I asked the manager if he would bring it back but said he had disposed of it. sorry not happy at all. Great food, lovely breakfast and the Bloody Mary's we nice and spicy. First time I've used the one in town as I've always gone to the Bay. Would go there again.

We had the 3 course special menu. Food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was great.. we will definitely go to this restaurant again. Great value for money

All staff were extremely pleasant and well organised. Both the food and wine were excellent. I needed gluten free food and this was no problem at all. All food delivered to me was labelled gluten free. Will definitely be eating there again soon.

The restaurant style is warm and tables are well laid out. Staff are friendly and efficient and the food is very good. The weekly special menu has a lot of excellent choice that sadly isn't available at the weekend.
