Steak and Duck were both cold, as well as the waitress removing plates whilst one of my clients was still eating. Overall the food was good, but did not make up for the poor service and cold mains.

Lovely restaurant. Staff very helpful and approachable. We had pre theatre set menu. (Great value) Asparagus starter a bit woody at the ends, but generous servings, lovely puds!

Excellent venue and one of my favourite restaurants. Well looked after; great food and good to be tucked away in a secret area. Will definitely return.

The person in charge wasn't very welcoming. The service was slow. The calamari starter arrived long after the other starters and my steak frites was over cooked, not pink at all and was as tough as old boots.

Excellent service. Very attentive. The food was good and well presented. One of the few restaurant where you are not to feel guilty when asking for tap water !!!! Certainly worth another visit.

Great food and fantastic value. Service was very slow for main course, especially as it's a pre-theatre menu and we were going to the theatre!

Food very good and service pleasant although we got a bit forgotten when we were the only table left away from the main part of the restaurant!

Very disappointing. Waiter got the order wrong. Abysmally slow service. Waited for ages for main course meals & when they arrived they were cold. Despite telling them repeatedly that we were going to a 7.30pm show, the order was taken at 6.15pm. Mains arrived at 7.15pm - cold - we couldn't finish our meal & arrived very stressed at the Dominion just as the curtains were going up, feeling very stressed & frustrated. It was meant to be part of a lovely evening. In fact, it semi ruined the evening. Venue is nice and food is good value - if served at the right temperature!

Pre theatre meal - excellent food, friendly service in spite of the restaurant being very busy, early evening menu outstanding value for money in London, highly recommended.

Wonderful experience as always when I dine at Cote Restaurants. They all have the same high standards and the food is always delicious and the service is excellent

Good attentive service. Table was ready. My steak was a bit tough. But everything else good. I was given a chocolate cake for my birthday.

Service was not fast, otherwise it was good. Rather generous portions compared to cote I LeamingtonSpa. Some waiters could do more with a customer service training

Steaks were all good and cooked well, creamed spinach was tasty and desserts were great. It was unfortunate that several items were off the menu and the restaurant space was uncomfortably hot, as otherwise a good meal with good service.

They tried putting us upstairs where no other diners were, even though there were loads of empty tables in the main dining area downstairs and as for the meal, It was poor and in general the whole experience was underwhelming to say the least. I think we'll be giving Cote restaurants a miss for the foreseeable future

Very good service. Not hurried can sit there for hours chatting with your friends. Food as always well presented and cooked. Prices really reasonable especially the two or three special courses at lunchtime or the pre-theatre menu.

Kept waiting for 10 minutes for a booked table but food, wine and service were all good. Will be going again very soon, one of my favourite places in a great location.

They reserved us a really bad table in a very hot part of the restaurant. They did change it to a take they had left free for walk in customers.

Food was excellent and the service very good. Our waiter made a point of asking if we were going to the theatre and made sure our order was taken promptly and the food arrived very quickly. Only down side of this particular Cote is that it is a series of small rooms. Our table for 6 was at the end of a narrow room and this was a little squashed for us. It also made the waiters task of serving and clearing very difficult for him. Hovever this didn't spoil our overall enjoyment.

went to this restaurant to celebrate with our friends from Germany , my starter of chicken liver parfait was served in a jar straight from the fridge so it was impossible to spread. 2 of the main courses were rib-eye steaks which were served burnt and very dry, when we complained all they said was "thank you for your feedback".

Went for a pre theatre dinner. We sat upstairs which was good as it was quieter and we could all talk. Food very good value off the pre theatre menu , portions good size and food very good. Our waiter was sweet although his English could have been a bit better. Would definitely go back.

We had a very enjoyable meal before our theatre trip. My friend had the mackerel starter which she said was delicious but contained several large fish bones. The manager apologised and didn't charge for our drinks.

I was pretty disappointed. We had a pre theatre menu meal booked and it too so long to get the main course (1hour 40) that we ended up having to leave before my friend could get the dessert they'd ordered. Lots of people around us were asking where food was, if they could order as they'd been waiting .. if you're going to offer a speedy set menu it needs to be speedy!

Every Cote Brasserie offers good food, pleasantly served and at an affordable price. Your Charlotte Street branch is no exception and I would certainly go back.

At 5.30 on a Saturday night they had already run out of the escalope. This did not seem right. Apart from that we had a good time with very pleasant waiting staff. They were great

the front of the restaunt is nice. However, we were led to our table that is essentially a narrow dark corridor. There were tables at the front that were empty, but they didn't want us to sit there. We'd booked on the loyalty offer otherwise probably would have gone elsewhere. However, the food was good. Service - a bit forgotten about being around the back. Noticed one of the other tables actually got up to find a waiter for the bill.

I always enjoy the Cotes menu & food. Today they obligingly gave me my tuna nicoise minus raw onions as requested. Only downside was that service was slightly slow but they had warned us that the restaurant was extremely busy when we arrived.

Pleasant restaurant. Pre theatre service could have been a little more attentive to the time constraints of diners. That way the experience could have been more relaxed.

Food was good. Set menu offered a good choice and good value. Service could be better- we had to ask twice for the water to be brought, the condiments we asked for when they were offered were never brought, and we had to wait 30 minutes for desert, which was only brought after we had asked again for it.

Same consistent standard as other Cotes I have visited in London and Birmingham. Excellent value 2 course prix fixe lunch. As I'd booked, we had a pleasant table near the windows. Attentive and courteous service.
