Faultless. We were a large party of 12 and absolutely everything was perfect.
Food was very slow coming and wasn't very warm. It's obvious we had been forgotten because we were given a slight discount on the bill
Always a pleasure to eat at Cote. I asked for a quiet table and that is exactly what we got. Service was beyond exemplary - what I'd expect in a much more expensive restaurant. Food also exceeded expectations and it was just a perfect evening. The free cocktail was delicious and a huge and much appreciated bonus. I always recommend Cote to my friends!
Very good gluten free menu very carefully managed which was impressive. Food & service very good
I had dinner with myself and was introduced to the January set menu which no doubt I'll have weekly as I come to this Cote often. As usual the lovely waiting staff couldn't do enough and they made me feel very welcome. The noise level even early on in the evening is high especially when you are sitting next to a large table of 6-8 people. But the place is very popular and everyone wants to get in before 7pm to have the set menus. The hot Roquefort Salad is one of my favourites as a starter.
Always great food Very professional and friendly service Clean and tidy Comfortable tables
Very little to criticise. The waiting staff were courteous and friendly, food well -presented and tasty, wine prices very acceptable. Good choice on the pre-theatre menu. It's a bit noisy and the tables are rather too close together. We were completely hemmed in. Going to the loo involved quite a lot of juggling around.
I took a friend who had not been to any Cote Brasserie before. She has lost out! She loved it. Particularly the service. The lovely Danish Maitre d' welcomed me like a long lost friend, which of course impressed my friend. Since my friend does not drink alcohol they mixed a most delicious mocktail for my friend as a welcome drink which I might try in future as opposed to my usual Kier Royal. All my favourite waiters were there, the lovely Italian lady from Lecce and the ever smiling waiter from Greece. We ate from the Prestige menu. The calamari on my friend's hot plate looked and apparently tasted delicious. I had the hot roquefort salad (again) and we both had the salmon with the most unusual and delicious vegetables (I made my friend eat hers!). Of course I'll be back.
Lovely meal apart from the steak in my Stroganoff being a bit on the chewy side. My onion soup was excellent and my hubby enjoyed both his courses. Very good service and a lovely welcome!
Great food, service and value as always in a relaxed welcoming atmosphere
Always and excellent choice for supper. This is the best Cote venue I know, good atmosphere, great food and excellent service
Fantastic service. We were after an area for a long lunch meeting at the Charlotte Street restaurant was perfect. We had a quite almost private space and the waiter was extremely helpful. He balanced the right amount of attentiveness but also gave us space for our meeting. Our visit was today at Tues 11:30-15:00 and were table 51
We had the Forumule 'un' which is so delicious. He had the traditional English, and I the scrumptious vegetarian and naughtily didn't have the veggie sausage but BACON instead. Thankfully the gorgeous Portuguese Maitre d' is back. He had been loaned to another Cote and we had missed him. And the poached eggs were actually warmer than the usual cold serving of these eggs. Why can the breakfast chef not make them hot in the first place?
For the second time (in many bookings) I was not given the table I'd requested when booking two weeks ahead. However, the table I was given worked reasonably well. The food was up to its usual high standard and the service was very prompt but perhaps a bit too attentive. The noise level, which is important to me, was fine.
The girlfriend and I were welcomed by three of our favourite waiting staff, firstly the lovely hostess from Southern Italy - then the gorgeous Maitre d' from Portugal (thank goodness he is back) sporting a shorter haircut and the other waitress whose English has improved slightly. the girlfriend and I shared the charcuterie platter (too little toast) with the most delicious smoked duck, then the girlfriend had her usual steak frites and I had the scrumptious cassoulet (enough for at least four people) - and the service was superb. Oh yes, there was the lovely Albanian waiter who always smiles from ear to ear who replenished our glasses. We'll be back!
Excellent evening at Cote Charlotte St, as always, thank you
Food was excellent ,service slow due to not enough staff.Really appreciated 12:95 off as good will. Will go again
The staff were really nice and attentive, however the poached eggs myself and my mum had were hard - like hard boiled eggs. Other than that, it was nice.
Good food and friendly staff. Music at one point was slightly load to allow for good conversation, but this was adjusted as more people arrived.
table was in aconverted corridor so not the most congenial space, however service was good and meal above average for this chain
Very friendly. Good value. We will be back again soon
We are regular customers of Cote and have never had a bad meal. Last night's was excellent Crab Mayonnaise, Breton Chicken, Boeuf Bourguignon and of course the unbeatable Creme Caramel.
A very nice meal, with great service, at a very reasonable price. We will be coming back
Excellent meal, nice atmosphere, friendly service and reasonably priced. Highly recommended
The usual tasty menu found in ll Cotes: unusual and tasty lovely blood orange & fennel salad. The Chocolate Pot was divine!
excellent. Good food. Convivial place. Good service. v acceptable cost
Restaurant is good but felt it was short staffed as after our mains we felt abandoned and could not get the attention of any waiter/ess.
Côte Charlotte Street is one of my favourite restaurants. Always a good experience.
I love this place! I keep coming back. Recommended! 🥰
Both steaks ordered were served too rare to eat and were stringy and tough then the other frites one was cold and the chips undercooked. We waited far too long to be served welcome drinks, then ages in between each course, then all desserts were served to my family bar one and then we waited another age to get the last one which meant he ate his dessert alone after we had finished. Not good enough, especially as it was my birthday meal. Terribly shocked, as I often dine at Cote and never have problems, but i was very disappointed with Cote and would not wish to return again
We were seated in the area at the back which began well, until a huge party of 14 people arrived, who were very merry and loud. It would have been better to have been advised that a large party was going to be sharing that back room space with us before we selected that table.
All the staff were charming and competent. The food was good. Enjoyable evening.
Very nice food in a little intimate room at the back. My guest and I were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff are delightful. Thank you very much for such a pleasant evening.
Great food at reasonable prices. Great service and a lovely atmosphere.
There was an infestation of fruit flies and I was bitten by some of them. We changed seats several times but unfortunately, we were not free of them. The manager said that the restaurant was due to be treated the following day and she comped us the entire meal.
Excellent food, service and value in a lovely restaurant at Cote, Charlotte Street.
Really nice experience with staff who recognised us and treated us well.
New Year's Eve dinner. Good food reasonably priced, a great choice.
A great evening overall with the usual fab attention and service from the professional and friendly staff at Charlotte St. One star deducted only for the watery butternut ravioli, which was otherwise good ... replaced swiftly and coupled with a well partnered Cote du Rhone. Our waiter, Sara, was brilliant and a reason to return again to our same well-placed table, the number of which I shall not mention here. Love this place.
My wife and I had the pre theatre menu. This was well priced considering the location. The service was very good. Everyone was polite and professional. It is very nice to receive such pleasant service. The food was cooked well. Would recommend Cote.
