We arrived to Cote chelmsford by the door opening and a lovely greeting from staff. We were able to pick our own table and we had a beautiful meal with three attentive staff asking if all was well. We will return again

Very welcoming and attentive staff. Introductory complimentary bottle of wine ordered online which we didn't have to remind the staff about. It came without prompting. Food was great as usual.

We had a lovely family meal yesterday. As usual service was very efficient. We were a large party of 11 and we didn’t have to wait for service, or long for food. Everyone cleared their plates. Great venue, friendly efficient staff and good value for money. We will definitely be booking again.

I enjoyed my lunch today. I am wheat and dairy intolerant so I it was nice to eat my favourite food which is fish and seafood I had the fish stew and it was very tasty. I will be returning xx

Absolutely perfect as usual. Very busy as it was Friday night but nevertheless the service was efficient and the food great. We took Italian friends there and they enjoyed the whole experience.

As always the food was excellent and the service very good. Got a free drink for booking on-line and being on their emailing list. Had the crab bisque, roast duck breast and tarte aux Mirabelles.

The food never disappoints and the service is very good. The menu choice suits all as does the cost very good value for quality all round.

Not the best Cote meal I’ve had to be honest. The staff were clearly very busy and there were delays/confusions on food coming out which left two of us waiting for bits to arrive before starting so it was a little bit colder than I’d have liked.

It was a lovely meal and ambience. Pre-dinner drink was delicious. Very friendly service and the staff are always accommodating.I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I’ve said it every time we visit cote brasserie, Chelmsford but it really is the best place for consistently excellent service & good food.

Had the Black pudding special starter. It was exquisite. Great service, great food, lots of choice on the menu. Would recommended and look forward to a return visit

Dried out food left under the hot light for too long and surly waiter. Realised why they didn’t really care when 12.5% service automatically added. Won’t be returning.

Excellent service from the time we arrived. Lucas was a great waiter and nothing was too much trouble. Three of our party were gluten intolerant and the dedicated menu was excellent.. We had a great evening.

We have visited for many years and always thought of the venue as individual restaurant but this was the first time it felt like a classic chain. We were kept waiting for half hour for our table with further delays during food service. The staff worked as best they could but felt the quality of food, the prices charged and lack of atmosphere has pushed it too far down the mainstream eatery. A real shame as we have always recommended but it's just not the same.

The finest dishes served by first rate staff in a relaxed but sophisticated setting. There really is no better restaurant in Chelmsford. Even when the fire alarm sounded, something out of the restaurant’s control we were given complementary drinks as a gesture. Perfect.

Had a wonderful time with my parents today! Food was fabulous and everyone seemed to be working hard to keep everyone in the restaurant happy even through there were some technical problems. Overall had an amazing meal on a busy Mothering Sunday at your restaurant! Keep it up :)

Despite a power outage on a very busy lunchtime, the staff gave the best service that they could and the food was as good as ever.
