Côte Chelmsford

First visit to this vote but as normal breakfast was up to normal cote standard. You know what you are going to get.

We arrived early but this was no problem and we were greeted with a warm smile and shown to our table. Service was well paced and friendly. Not our first visit to this restaurant nor will it be the last.

We were all able to find what we wanted and all enjoyed the meal

Overall we were pleased by the good service and quality of our meals although Cote do seem to have cut back on the size of dishes as well as significantly higher prices. Ambience was good.

Cote Chelmsford has been a regular favourite for a long time. Although the quality of our meals and service remain high, we felt that recent changes to the menu and staff have made it a less attractive venue overall. The atmosphere and noise levels today were poor, in part reflecting the presence of a relatively rowdy Xmas party of 50+ people nearby.

Service and food was good as usual. As regular diners we were a bit disappointed by the latest menu changes. Prix fix menu is no longer available after 7 mins week and main menu selection is not as extensive. My impression is that prices have gone up ( no surprise) but portions less generous. Still good value overall.

Good to get back to Cote after the summer break. Meals and service were excellent as usual. All round good value for money.

By far our favourite restaurant in the Chelmsford area, Cote provides good value French style dishes served in a calm friendly atmosphere.

Cote Chelmsford provides a consistent good value menu with well made traditional French cuisine in a smart and friendly atmosphere. Specially enjoyed the Poulet Provençale.

Cote is our go to place for dinner. The fixed price menus are brilliant for everyday eating when you just can’t be bothered to cook; the specials provide something different and interesting when you fancy splashing out a bit more. Chelmsford Cote staff are consistently brilliant.

Morning brunch at Chelmsford was extremely good value with a good selection of dishes and efficient service. We particularly enjoyed the bacon baguettes and latte coffees.

Always pleased to dine out at Cote Chelmsford mid-week. The staff are friendly and attentive and the menu provides a good range of traditional French-style cuisine prepared in-house (unlike a lot of other local restaurants). The poulet grille was excellent and very good value.

Cannot recommend Cote Chelmsford highly enough. We have been regulars for several years now and never been disappointed. The menu is good, dishes well prepared and service welcoming and friendly. It was quieter than usual after the Christmas and New Year rush but nonetheless an enjoyable experience at Cote Chelmsford, with well prepared and good value food and excellent service. I especially enjoyed the return of the prix fix menu and the excellent rib eye steak frites. Thanks to all the staff for making it another great evening.
