Lovely venue, good selection of table sizes. Friendly staff. Fantastic food. Well cooked and presented. Good wine selection. Recommended and we will return in near future.

Excellent food for all the family. If you have young children it would be a good idea to bring your own cutlery and cups as only adult glasses and cutlery available.

First time at Cote Chelmsford. We were due there at 13:00 hrs but turned up a bit early, no problem, a warm welcome and we were taken to a table straight away. The waiting staff were very friendly and explained all the various food selections that were on offer. We ate from the a la carte and specials menus and we kicked off with Melon and ham which was great. We following it up the duck breast for me and duck comfit for her. Mine was just right but my wife's was seriously over done, near to cremation. Decision time, send it back or carry on. The problem of returning a meal is what happens to the meal which is ok. We carried on. Then on to dessert - Crème Caramels for two and they were delicious. So ended our first visit. We did mention the overdone duck to the waitress and she did say that we should have returned it so you could argue it was down to us. Anyway, overall a good visit and meal spoiled a little bit by v crispy duck.

Met up with friend not seen for 30 years staff very patient and friendly as we were taking so long to order ! Loved it

Cote Brasserie in Chelmsford is a popular place - makes a pleasant change from the other chain restaurants; Service good, food good, and value for money with the 2 courses for £10.95 deal. Recommend

Steak was not up to standard, tabkexwas cleared when we hadn't left! All tried to be rectified quickly but shouldn't really have happened in the first place .... love Cote!

Good food and service both were excellent even though the restaurant was full. Always a very pleasant all round experience every time. We are going for breakfast tomorrow, which is always great.

Atmosphere was absolutely amazing hustling and bustling yet relaxing, the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to meet the needs of their customers - I would recommend the 10oz sirloin steak , cooked to perfection with such a powerful taste, especially with garlic butter. Starters and deserts were delicious also. I would recommend this place enormously and has a very similar price to your basic pizzeria - Côte comes out on top every time.

Brilliant service the moment we stepped in the door of the restaurant. front of house staff were absolutely incredible. and the food was absolutely amazing will be returning in the future! And next to waiting time on food coming out! best garlic bread ever

Cote Brasserie is, in our opinion, the best restaurant in Chelmsford. It is extremely well managed; all the staff are very welcoming and friendly. They engage with the diner whilst serving effectively and professionally. The food and menu options are always reliably good, attractively served and well priced. We always know we are going to have an excellent meal and enjoyable when when we dine at this particular restaurant, and to date have never been disappointed.

lovely leaving meal for myself, my partner and my two sons. Oldest son off to live in New Zealand . Slight downside, veal loin on the special menu underwhelming and overpriced. Very little vegertarian/vegan option for my other son. Generally great food and good service

Great for people with a gluten intolerance. There was a separate menu with gluten free options and the staff was very helpful accommodating with any dietary requirements for our group of friends.

Made to feel very welcome with attentive staff, good food and not rushed. Rather too many menus to check slightly spoils the experience but it does give you a greatchoice.Would not hesitate to recommend.

We have been interested in the Cote in Chelmsford as we often visit St Pauls and I can honestly say that the same very high standards were present here as well The Staff were lovely especially Yanna and the food was served hot and was excellent

This was the day after my wife birthday and Laura, Dan and Vin were there and made the evening so much fun and special - we really could not ask for more - this is a fabulous addition to Chelmsford and I know it will do well

We arrived on a wonderful sunny evening to be greeted by Dan one of the managers who not only remembered my name but also our normal order! A wonderful meal and yet again we felt very welcome and rather special - all the staff were excellent as was the food.

This particular Cote restaurant compares well with its fellows, but we were particularly pleased by the efficient and cheerful service of the staff, led by a manager who took the trouble to notice when his intervention was appropriate and who led his staff well. And it was a Friday evening!

We had a delicious evening dinner from the special 10th anniversary menu. We had just returned ftom our French home and this meal conjured up all those mouth watering flavours. The Breton Fish Stew was amazing - the service first class and the atmosphere just right. We will most certainly return - frequently.

This was our First visit will definitely return x great meal, great service good wine. Highly recommend. Last table to leave on a Saturday .

We always enjoy our lunch at COTE. It never disappoints.! Good food, Good value and friendly atmosphere. We have visited both with friends and family.

Excellent food. Great service. Quite expensive for a lunch. Have eaten there 4 times now and food always of a high standard. Would eat there more often if slightly cheaper
