This restaurant is on our list of regular visits.once again we had a fantastic meal and excellent service. Cote is always a joy to visit under the stewardship of manager Richard. The food is of excellent quality and presentation is second to none. The service was excellent even though it was mother’s day! A very busy well run restaurant, looking forward to our next visit. Lovely meal, nice environment and friendly waiter although service was quite slow and a little slack.

After 15 minutes of waiting for drinks order to be taken, had to seek out staff to take it. Again had to seek staff to ask for the bill after waiting 15 minutes, despite informing waiter that we had finished and did not require anything else. Disappointed. Food was excellent though.

Even though a very busy Saturday night the service and the food were excellent, as always. Only didn’t give 6 stars as we did have to wait then chase for our drinks, but it was no bother.

Very nice restaurant, good atmosphere and good food.Staff attentive enough not over the top.

Cheltenham is obviously busy this week of the year but we booked on lie and the quality of the food and service was brilliant. Well done to the whole Cheltenham Cote team Thank you.

We often come to Côte for breakfast before the races. However this year was not a good one. Long wait times for all service even tho it’s was not particularly busy. Tea and coffee forgotten. Not sure we will be returning again. Very disappointed.

From being welcome on arrival, to the attention by our waitress was great. My daughter had the lamb chops and she said they were the best she had ever tasted in a restaurant. I had Breton chicken and that too was excellent. Thank you.

Food was lovely especially my Seafood linguine. Good service and very pleasant surroundings. Just a bit slow with desserts.

Very quiet , there were very few customers or staff there but this was a late lunch at 2pm so that makes sense. Bit cold. No sparkling water available and the food was average but very well priced.

Perfect starters, mediocre main courses but didn't stop for desserts. Four of us in our party, three had the asparagus starter which they were delighted with, the fourth had moules au cidre which were again, perfect although the shells were surprisingly thin and broke easily leaving The main courses were steak (which came at a premium of £2.50), that was 'chewy', one had pork belly which was 'pretty good' one had chicken which he politely described as 'good' but it looked stringy and he left a lot of it. The last had Sea Bass - his benchmark dish. Sad to say the delicate flavour of the fish was completely overwhelmed by fennel. Service was, as always, excellent and the Syrah wine from the pays d'Oc was delightful. Generally a nice experience but not quite as enjoyable as previous visits.

Just had a Fathers Day lunch which was really lovely. We rang mid week & although fairly full managed to fit in our party of eight. Well done.

yes we enjoyed out Mothers Day breakfast ! Efficient service, good choice of food and drink, very tasty especially the blackcurrant jam (?) jam !

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent ambiance, only issue is the same as most restaurants, the wine costs too much. Having said that everywhere has to make a profit and the food/service was really good so thank you!

We ate off the evening set menu. I had crostini and seafood linguine my husband had pate and belly pork. All was delicious. We also had a bottle of house white. Service was excellent

Mum absolutely enjoyed her first visit to Cheltenham’s Cote’s. She will definitely be dining there again !!

The food was as always excellent,service also excellent and friendly however I do feel 12.5 per cent added on to food and drink is excessive even though it is not compulsory to pay it does make you feel you should as it has been added to the final total ,we have been to Cote many times in Cheltenham Gloucester and Bath and shall continue to do so .

Service was inattentive- it took 15 minutes from when we’d sat down to being acknowledged for a drink. Similar to order a dessert and obtain the bill.

We had the best 3 course meal for years. Each course we couldn’t fault. The food was superb and was matched by the service. The lady serving our table had some magic power of always knowing when I needed another glass topped up. Value for money was excellent and will be going back again very soon.

A very positive experience. The free cocktail was v welcome (by booking online) A delicious meal. I had the pork belly & it was sooo good. Followed by the chocolate mousse yummy! Can not recommend it highly enough. Good service too.

Had an email confirmation that the table was booked for 12:00 but I booked on line for 8:30 the crab starter did not look appetising needed some decoration looked very bland tow people orderd this at of the 4 also two people orderd the sirloin steak and could not eat it all as it was very tough this was dissapointing although my minute steak was lovely really wish when topping up the wine glasses they would make sure they want topping up as one person - driver glass was topped up she had poured it before we could stop her.

Food and service was their usual value for money and excellent standard. Would certainly recommend to family and friends.

Really love this restaurant. The fillet steaks are cooked to perfection and the puddings are amazing (even if you 'not a pudding person') will definitely be back.

We often go to Cote - particularly love the early evening menu choices and deal, its a favourite for us. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food at a great price. Kir Royale under £5 - brilliant.

As ever an enjoyable evening in a good ambience. On this occasion I was slightly disappointed with the main course - it lacked flavour and the potato mash swamped the fish.

We ate from the Prestige Set Menu and much enjoyed everything we choose - no complaints! However, the meal was spoilt by the level of noise in the restaurant - it was acceptable when we arrived, but as more people arrived, so did the level of the noise. At one point, sitting on a table of four, we could hardly hear each other. Perhaps some thought needs to be used to cut down the level of noise?

Lovely food. Great staff. Our favourite restaurant in Cheltenham. Pork belly was delicious. The atmosphere is really good and lighting just right. We love the ambiance. House wine also excellent. Thank you Cote for making our evening special.

My partner Amanda and I love Cote at Montpellier.We have been many times and we will be coming many times more.We were concerned that when the “Ivy” opened close by, trade might have been affected.However,that has never happened.The atmosphere,superb food and brilliant staff has as usual come up trumps.Many,many thanks for welcoming us to your lovely restaurant.See you soon,Tom

Cote Cheltenham is always great value for money with a good choice of food and a relaxing welcoming environment that makes it a great place to catch up with friends

Service was amazing as was complimentary kir royale for our anniversary meal. Lovely atmosphere and presentation of meals was very good. Really impressed and would definately go again.

Really lovely testy food. Child friendly to a point. Luckily we brought a few things to entertain the little, but overall great experience.

The staff are always very courteous, helpful and friendly. The food is always excellent & of a very high standard. We had comp rhubarb martinis with our meal which were delicious!! I’ve found my new favourite drink!!!

I chose one of set menu with mussels as a starter I only had five mussels most of shells were empty I had the sea bass as main meal that was lovely.

Very good meal. Service was good and the atmosphere was inviting. Inevitably prices are rising though.

Food was lovely, but was cold unfortunately. 3 of us ate brunch and all 3 meals were cold. Also the 'toast' with the full English was more like bread than toast. It was mother's Day, so busy, so we let it go. Didn't take away from the flavour of the food. Waitress was very blunt and pretty rude, again she was busy, but it does kind of ruin a meal if you don't get good service. It wouldn't stop me going back as the food was so delicious, just a shame a few big things let it down.

Fantastic meal as usual. The steak tartare, beef bourguignon, and mushroom and spinach crepe were all very tasty.Andree the waiter was lovely and very professional. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our meal with the cocktails as well. The duck was in a delicious cherry sauce and cooked perfectly. Staff were attentive without being overbearing. All round good experience. Thank you.

The staff were great but the restaurant was so busy it was noisy and a bit cramped wouldn’t really expect anything else on Gold Cup day😄

Great food at a reasonable price. Very efficient service and a pleasant atmosphere. Easy to book on line and the food was delicious. All in all, would recommend to anyone
