Great value , quality and service, served again by Meri. The place was nice and busy especially when you think it was a Monday in winter!

We had a lovely time at cote Chester the staff were very nice, attentive but not pushy, the main course was very good and lemon tart was nice,only the flatbread we had to start was a bit thin which made it a little hard,the muscadet wine we chose was really nice,will definitely return soon.

Starters were very late and one was not what we ordered meaning more waiting. However these when they came were lovely and the we taken off our bill. Staff very friendly and obliging main course was excellent

Cote always exceeds expectations! We only live around the corner, but are regular diners. Chris and his team make us feel very welcome and the experience is always positive - from being seated to paying the bill. The food, service and atmosphere make us come back, time and time again. Keep up the good work!!!

Busy restaurant ,although service prompt by friendly staff. Extensive menu good quality. 10% surcharge not a problem if you normally tip 10% for good service and quality food

Seat in first floor spoilt by customers being able to use a part time external door which was very annoying. Cold draughts and people brushing past the table undermined the ambiance. Food was good.

Another excellent visit to Chester Cote this time celebrating two birthdays - our friends recently returned from S France were duly impressed. Here's to our next visit!

The early sitting set menu was fantastic food at a good price. Family of 4 and we all enjoyed all 3 courses. Wine was reasonably priced as well.

Very nice. Good food and friendly service. Excellent choice of gluten free food for the coeliac in our party. Toilets were a bit cold though - could do with better heating

Nice atmosphere, good service, good food, all in all a good experience. I would recommend it and I'll definitely come back. We had the fix menu but also a la cart had some interesting plates also for vegetarians.

Great meal, good service and a lovely location. All three of us were really impressed by every course....would especially recommend the prawns and the crab mayonnaise starters. The duck and the se bass were very good means.

Great food, fantastic service, a most enjoyable evening. 3rd visit in 5 days. Couldn’t find fault in anyway. We only live down the road and didn’t know cote brasserie had been in Chester for 9 months. Highly recommended

Usual Cote High Standards and there was a children's menu for the 7 year old with us. Very friendly staff and a very nice ambience.

About the worst Cote we've visited and we have visited many over the past 10 years. Food was average and service was "couldn't care less", and that's very different to the Manchester branch that we'd gone to the night before.

Food and service both exceptional, would highly recommend. We will be returning to dine again very soon; duck in particular was astounding. Only criticism would be that ketchup was offered with main meal; customers should be asked to leave if they require ketchup!

The food was good, but there was a 45 minute wait between starter and main course. Our party of 4 was starting to flag by this time!

8 of us went to Cote in Chester on Boxing Day. It was a great meal as the food was very good and the service from everyone was brilliant. Everything was very organised and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff which was a refreshing change as we find most restaurants do not want to be bothered especially when there are a lot of people to be waited on. A big thank you to the manager and his team. We would recommend anyone to have a meal at Cote in Chester and are sure they would not be disappointed. Well done !

Every time we go to cote in Chester we always have a wonderful time..had halibut again and just can't complain and I had duck wow that's all I can say

We really couldn’t fault the delicious food and attentive service, at what was a reasonable price compared to some higher end restaurants where the food has not been as good. I am gluten free and was impressed that only a senior member of staff could take my order.

It was our first visit to Cote in Chester. We really enjoyed the meal with good service too. Couldn’t fault it all and will certainly go back.

Great value, had 3 course meal ( from the lunch menu) and everyone in our party enjoyed their meal, the Kir Royale was far better than I expected. It was my first visit to Cote and I would certainly go again, only downside was the lunch menu was not originally given to us, we had to ask for it.

What a beautiful restaurant! We had an anniversary brunch there and were greeted with complimentary mimosas. A really thoughtful touch to our meal. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Service was fantastic. Will definitely be returning!

Excellent welcome and service. Menu choices were good and server was able to explain the menu well. We were entertaining friends and they were pleased with the experience. We use Cote Bath quite often and always look for Cote when travelling!

We visited the Cote Brasserie in Chester for my husbands birthday. We had excellent service and lovely food! I Can thoroughly recommend this place, great value for money too if you choose the early bird menu.

Excellent meals. Good menu. Very busy but dealt with very efficiently. Staff attentive but not too much. Nice wine and ice bucket a nice touch.

This was our first visit here. Cote Chester is in a wonderful building with great atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and delicious food. We look forward to returning.

Very helpful staff, good value food, £11.50 lunch menu was exceptional. Staff left us to talk at the end of the meal, did not feel rushed at all.

My meal ((ribeye steak) was lovely and the service good, but my colleague's meal (salmon fillet) was luke-warm and uncooked in the middle so had to be replaced. By the time a new meal was brought to the table I had all but finished my steak. My colleague was unhappy at having to complain about her food and embarrassed to be eating once I had finished so hurrying her food, which was supposed to be a treat.

Great location, Fantastic Staff & Great Food!!! Pre-booked because you can’t get a table usually, arrived on time, restaurant was empty due to outlying areas hit by snow, staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was great, piping hot and delicious. Looking forward to our next snowy day when we can get into a fab eatery!!!

In the past when I eat in Cote when visiting it was good so when in Chester recently decided to eat there. Service was poor, food less than average. Probably won’t go again

Service was great, food was amazing. I had the beef boerginon (sorry incorrect spelling) the meat was v tender and herb mash v smooth. Staff were very attentive and the atmosphere/decor was lovely...would definitely return
