Lovely meal. Service and food excellent. Food arrived very quickly.... a bit too quickly for our liking. Great atmosphere.

Thoughtful social distancing, excellent service, consistently good food and very drinkable Merlot. Full house and vibrant atmosphere.

We love Cotes, the food is superb and so are the staff. I think the 12.5% gratuity fee is slightly steep and should be thought about. However, we will continue to go, food, atmosphere brilliant and possibly the best place to eat in Cirencester.

So good to be able to enjoy breakfast at Cote again! The French breakfast is my favourite, service attentive without fuss. We’ve been enjoying Cote At Home for the occasional dinner (and will continue to do so) but going out for a lovely breakfast is a joy

Lovely food, quick efficient service. Shame there were no local beers offered on the menu. The restaurant was quite busy and was very noisy too.

I mentioned in my email that it was our anniversary and could we have a cosy table. When we got there they said congratulations, gave us a booth to sit in and also two free glasses of champagne. We felt so special. The meal was absolutely fabulous, all very hot and the service was very attentive. All in all they made our special day a night to remember and we thank them . xx

Was lovely to be back at Cote in Cirencester - overall a great evening ... I did feel that there could have been a little bit more space between tables though especially as we are now having to communicate more effectively with the staff whom are doing a fantastic job in visors but it can be difficult to hear them especially when there are other guests sitting so close by

Excellent steaks and frites, I thought the veg was a bit below par - peas were over cooked. However the service was outstanding, we were in a hurry and the food was delivered very quickly. My daughter was feeling ill (from the night before !) and the manager was great to remove hers from the bill Many thanks John

My family always enjoy a visit to Cote Brassiere Cirencester. Good food, friendly service and a lovely feel about the place. Would always recommend a visit to this restaurant.

First visit after lockdown - glad to be back. It was good to see the old staff are still there. They said that Cote had kept all its staff during the lockdown which is really nice to know. And the food was as great as usual. Many thanks

So pleased that Cote in Cirencester has re-opened following Covid-19 lockdown. Always love eating at this restaurant. As usual, food very good, attentive service and reasonable prices. Well done again!

Food was brilliant, there was a wait but as it was the last day of the eat out to help out we expected that. The only downside was I felt that we were not as socially distanced as I have been in other restaurants. To get to the toilets or exit the restaurant I felt very close to other tables.

Food was good, though not really value for money. Service was very slow. Too many tables for the current climate and not enough attention to cleaning. A squirt of something on a grotty cloth to wipe 3 tables and accompanying furniture doesn't cut it. I was particularly perturbed by the site of out waiter poking his nose under his visor. Won't go back any time soon.

We do not appreciate being charged 12.5% service charge without being asked when it was time to pay the bill the expectation was that we pay the full amount no question about the 12.5%, full amount entered into the card machine - any tips should be down to the discretion of the customer not an expectation that you will pay!!

We were visitng the Cotswolds and staying at the Devere Hotel. We were hoping to find a nice steak restaurant for a celebration dinner and Cote Brasserie was the only one we could find. We found the staff friendly and the atmosphere was fine but the menu was limited and we felt that the Steak was over priced given that it only came with some frites. No vegetables and no choice of a baked potato, just frites. My steak was cooked perfectly and delicious but my fiancé found her steak was a bit grisly and a little over cooked. I also ordered some olives and I didn't expect them to still have the stones in them, as a result, I have a cracked tooth which needs dental attention. We didn't complain about the steak at the time or bring to your attention my tooth. It was a bit noisy but as we had a table quite late, it did quite down substantially within 30 minutes or so.

No social distancing between tables! Hate the fact you automatically add on so much tip!!

A lovely dining experience. Food was lovely and staff were very friendly. I particularly reccomend the frozen berries with chocolate sauce! I have been to a number of Cote restaurants and the Cirencester branch is definitely the best I have been to. 5 stars!

It was really busy this bank holiday Monday, but the service and food was great as ever. Well done to all the staff that were working so well on such a busy day

This was our first visit since lockdown and our dining experience as always was excellent.

We received a lovely welcome and great service today. The food was tasty and nicely presented. The staff wore visors and ensured everything was thoroughly cleaned in between customers. Overall good experience.

Even though the restaurant was full we felt quite distanced. The staff were unfailingly cheerful and attentive and the food was great.

Been here before and always very happy with the food and service. Today was very busy, however luckily I booked a table a while ago. Prompt seating at table and service thereafter. Only minor issue was that we weren't offered the brunch menu, as I would of ordered the Moules if I'd of had the choice. Seeing another table with them I was very jealous!! However we will be back soon!!

Not exactly covid compliant. Not happy with the 12.5% gratuity as it embarrasses customers who don’t feel they received the best service expected. Food quality very mediocre- food not as hot as it could be and quality not as expected. Not sure I will return to this branch.

Our first visit since lockdown and worth waiting for, the service was really good and the food was terrific. We felt safe in the social distancing. We took advantage of the eat out to help out offer and can't wait to come again.

Our "go to" restaurant in Cirencester. Overall well worth the money and it would be almost churlish to highlight any faults...all minor and never enough to ever put us off returning. The jewel in Cirencester cuisine.
