Côte Cirencester

Had a lovely family brunch, sat out the front in the sun with the world paling by - our first since we were in Lockdown. Service was ace (thank you Amy, you were brilliant), food very good and just lovely. I would come again. My only (very minor) criticism is - it's a little pricey, especially in the current environment, but Cote could offset that with things like: free top up of coffee, or free extras with brunch (like extra bread/toast on demand). Overall, a lovely brunch!

Friendly and professional service, tasty food, good wine. I had the ravioli which was beautifully presented, and tasted great - perhaps a few too many peppers to eat, but they’re part of the visual feast. My partner really enjoyed the steak frites. After a rather slow welcome when we arrived, the service was excellent. Our two waiters were quick, courteous and friendly.

Food was excellent ...,,, but we went for a relaxed Friday night meal - we were whisked in, aperitif s served, order taken without time to think, chat or settle down and we’d had our starter and the main course was in front of us within 25 mins - I know that customers don’t like excessive delay but this was the other extreme! No real time to enjoy the meal or unwind at the end of the day/week!

The food was excellent and service too. The only thing I would say is that the Resturant was very busy with no apparent air flow. Lots of people were walking past our table and this made us feel uncomfortable. I know this must be a difficult balance for restaurants at the moment. I would definitely recommend once the Covid situation is over.

Second visit in four nights. Friendly, professional staff each and everyone, from the lady who booked us in to the guy who served and looked after us. All staff so impressive in this difficult time. Food/drink quality as good as ever -- beautifully and timely presented.

A good menu with a fine wide range of excellent food available. Well presented and everything chosen was served at the right temperature. Most polite and friendly staff who covered all what we wanted. Thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Great to be back at Côte. Every precaution taken due to Covid. Sanitiser on arrival. Tables well spread out, plentiful staff wearing visors worked efficiently and fast, food as good as ever. Delighted to see every table occupied on a Thursday evening.

Excellent service. Viognier wine superb. Food most enjoyable. Booked for tomorrow evening! Reserved table wasn’t ready on our arrival but it was only a few minutes wait.

Lovely food. Good social distancing. Difficulty understanding waitress, vizor prob didn’t help. Quite noisy even with reduced diners.

We dined here twice while staying in Cirencester and on both occasions we were delighted with the way Bogi looked after us. It was a pleasure to dine in an exceptionally well run restaurant with such excellent food and service. Compensation for us having to cancel our holiday in France due to covid. It was so lovely to be back at Cote. The staff were so professional and attentive. First day of re-opening and you wouldn’t have believed they had been closed. The food was fantastic and even on such an important first day for Cote Cirencester, they hadn’t forgotten my comment on booking that it was my cousin’s 50th birthday and complimentary drinks were served to our table. Hats off to you all for achieving a wonderful experience and a sense of normality.

Excellent staff, great food, lovely atmosphere, great hygiene. We had put Gluten Free on the online booking and there was the special menu waiting for us!

Excellent service from the word go. Young man who served us was very efficient. In fact all stuffs were ready to help. Food was excellent. Not everything on the menu was available though not sure why. Other than that very satisfied. We are long time customer and will visit again in future.

Excellent experience last night in what was a very busy restaurant, not only being a bank holiday but also teh last night for eat out to help out. The service was excellent, we were welcomed with a smile and shown to our table on arrival. In fact we were 10 mins early but that did not matter. Our server Molly was very friendly and the food was excellent.

Came for particular dishes but these were not available as the restaurant was running a limited menu. One of us didn’t like either of the 2 vegetarian options so we had to leave. We couldn’t get a member of staff’s attention to say we would leave because they were all run off their feet so we had to leave without letting anyone know, for which we felt very bad.

Very nice brunch, good choices on menu. Double checked on coffee being decaf as this was missed. Good experience

We all enjoyed our food, it was lovely. Great service as well.

Average food. Less than enthusiastic staff. Generally got the impression they didn’t want to be there. We spent £250 across 2 tables. I’ve been to this cote several times since it opened and sometimes service & food is excellent and other times poor. Tonight’s experience means I’m probably not going to return any time soon. It was my husband 50th birthday today and it was disappointing evening

Sooo good to have Cote in Cirencester finally back. Great food (as always) and safe service means we’ll be happy to be called regulars once again.

So pleased to see Cote in Cirencester re-open following Covid-19 shutdown. Always pleased with food quality, service and atmosphere.

We always enjoy coming to a Côte. Not least because my wife is a coeliac and because of the care you take as a matter of policy she never has any doubts as to the safety of her food. Besides it's delicious.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner last night. Our boeuf bourguignon and cheese platter were delicious. The wine was very good, too. Service was prompt and courteous. Keep up the excellent work.:-)

It was wonderful to come back to our favourite eatery. Very impressed with the way the restaurant was keeping to all the safety regs without losing the ambience we always enjoy. Particular thanks to the waiting staff for their friendliness and attention to detail. Coming back soon!

Glad to see You are back in business. Excellent services provided by local staff. We are regular guest usually visiting this restaurant 2x a week. Recent meal card is very generic and frankly to say with exception of Beef Bourguignon - no other French meals? You are step away from being another fast food chain. Serving steaks and burger seems to be a blasphemy, Cote is not American Steakhouse serving chips with ketchup and mayo. We love to see again full offer of French signature meals. Mind that other similar restaurants are all around and your loyal clients may move away very fast. Food is good quality indeed however visiting your place 4x in a row to eat the same is not a good value for time invested. Finally - no guests in tracksuits please...

Really enjoyed a relaxed breakfast, everything up to the usual high standard. Great to be back, looking forward to lunch booked in for later this week.

Wonderful meal ,safe attentive service, I always leave a tip,never happy with the gratuity,but I paid it this time because of what the staff have been through I really do hope that they get it!!

Excellent food, amazing service and nice ambience. I’d seen a previous review regarding a lack of social distancing so was a little apprehensive. I needn’t have worried. Our table, as well as being a safe distance from the next, was near one of the sanitising stations and the staff were constantly sanitising their hands. I would definitely recommend this place. My husband and I had an anniversary dinner-we had different for all three courses and each one was delicious. Staff were so attentive. If I could give them more stars I would. I would highly recommend this place and I am a very picky diner!

Excellent food with superb service and value for money

We always love coming here and as normal the service is excellent. My only point is that when I asked for the Salmon without the ratatouille, I asked if I could have vegetables instead but was told I had to choose from the extras so decided on the tomato salad. Whilst this was ok, I think being charged the same price for 2 tomatoes is a bit steep.
