Good value for money with attentive but unobtrusive staff.Would recommend
Lovely lunch, despite the restaurant being quite busy service and food were good. A really good all round French meal with a good selection available - even though we all had steak frites.
As always, we were made to feel special........a perfect Mother’s Day meal. And a lovely lively atmosphere in the restaurant.........we really enjoyed it. Cirencester is the best Cote as far as we’re concerned.......which is why we travel down from Broadway! Long may it last!
Lovely lunch and speedy service with a smile. Good value for money, would recommend. Only down side was no Barcardi or rum and several wines were not available.
We always enjoy our meal at Cote in Cirencester and feel it represents good value for money. It is nicely presented and staff are good. Noise level sometimes very high and we would prefer NOT to see service charge automatically added, although we appreciate it is discretionary.
Another great lunch here, the complementary chocolate mousse was the icing on the cake! I will certainly visit again soon as the food is always well presented and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
We had a lovely evening! The service was excellent, thank you!
Excellent service - great food - we will be back. Enjoyed being able to eat outside on a wonderfully warm evening. Overall a good family dinner - 3 generations - each one very pleased with their meal.
Excellent service and menu prestige (again) :) We’ll definitely be back very soon for sure. Slight mistake (both sides to be fair) that was rectified very quickly.
Easy booking , convenient, easy parking. Pleasant welcome but not warm . Nice friendly waitress Duck over cooked. Reasonable value, nice wine. Too many people serving would prefer one dedicated person
Overall a good experience for three generations of the same family (something for everyone)
A very nice meal which we all enjoyed as a family
We had an excellent evening at Cote Cirencester, the food was hot, tasty and excellent value for money and the service was excellent. Already looking forward to my next visit.
I was thoroughly disappointed in the service. One of the diners asked 4 times for extra bread! Eventually after 15 mins it arrived... after the other diners had finished. Then we were left looking at our empty starter plates for 20 mins! To top it off on numerous occasions we had empty glasses and could get the attention of a waiter in order to order more. Oh and we also have the issue that we didn’t have enough cutlery on the table! So generally it was bad service and it could do with major improvement.
Amazing food, amazing wine, amazing service! Would recommend to everyone!
We enjoyed our evening. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Good choice on the menu. Food was tasty and as described. The only negative was our table was right by the main service door to the kitchen I presume so lots of traffic and noise very near us. We were initially offered a table further in the restaurant and with hindsight we should have done that. Service was very fast but we hit a bit of a lapse after our main course when the restaurant got very busy. Our waitress apologized which was fine. We will definitely return as we enjoyed the food and thought it pretty good value.
The restaurant was very busy, but the lady who seated us and organised our complimentary cocktails.........which were amazing, the lady who took our order and the gentleman who served our food were all lovely, efficient and nothing was too much trouble.
Lovely night except for the state of the male toilets
Our meal as always was excellent... however we did have a problem in that my friend had rung Cote Cirencester prior to coming to inquire if she could bring her little well behaved pug to sit under the table in the outside courtyard with us whilst we dined as she thought it too hot to leave him in the car. She was told this was fine as long as we remained outside in the courtyard. However after sitting down for 15 mins the Manageress bore down on us, insisting that dogs were not allowed and that we must have rung reservations London( we had not .. we had rung Cote Cirencester) who would not know and only after a slight argument conceded grudgingly we could sit with the dog that once but that it was against the rules. The whole incident was unnecessary and could have been handled politely and diplomatically ( no customer was complaining) rather than in such an overbearing way by gently saying that next time they would prefer we left the dog outside the restaurant frontage. If indeed a ‘no dogs in courtyard’ rule exists we had taken the trouble to ring first and were misinformed.
Always delicious food, great value and good service. Many thanks!
Excellent food and service. Table was between door and bar at front which is a little noisy, however they were very busy so limited tables were available. In spite of booking in advance this was the only down side.
Great restaurant. Lovely young people serving. Attentive and show interest Best in Cirencester Great value. A,ways my first choice. Hope they are rewarded well. They deserve to be
Staff were friendly and efficient. Some of us ordered moules frites, which we thought were just ok, nothing special and nothing like moules frites in France. Also no bread to mop up the juices so had to order some. On the other hand the praline crepe was out of this world! Not sure why they add slices of banana that have been slightly torched on top but are still raw (this is not what caramelised banana should look or taste like) - they added nothing to the dish, but once they were removed I could fully enjoy the delicious chocolate praline sauce inside the soft crepe - delicious! Also a lovely selection of cheese but not nearly enough bread to eat with it, and so we were charged for additional bread, which we thought was a bit steep. Overall a nice enough meal with a rather high price tag.
It was our 18th wedding anniversary so we thought it would be nice to eat at Côte and we were not disappointed. We love the atmosphere (just nicely busy) but our waitress was attentive and chatty. Thank you and of course we will be back - soon. Paul and a Rachel Barrow
I didn’t have a great experience. Didn’t have drinks on menu, didn’t have desserts on menu which choose to have. Then ordered meals which were fine then onto dessert which didn’t have and then brought out wrong dessert. Lovely food will be going back as this is only 1 bad experience
The waitress who showed us to our table was miserable. There was quite a long want between courses. The food And wine was good. Restaurant clean.
Service is always good when we go to Cirencester but today (Fathers Day) it was lacking just a little. However, i do appreciate that it is / was a very busy day for the staff.
Very pleasant evening. Food was fine, but not extraordinary. Not sure about the ‘optional’ service charge that was automatically added on - 12.5%..... seems a little arrogant.
Good meal and service don’t like service charge being added on but breakfast was good value and tasty all served in good time and staff so friendly and helpful
I have eaten at this restaurant on several occasins now. It has always maintained a high standard aad today was no exception. Saturday lunchtime is inevitanly busy. However, service was prompt and the staff were aware of my earlier e-mail notification on an egg-allergy.
We came for Sunday lunch the food was delicious and beautifully presented the service was excellent and the staff were very pleasant, would definitely have no hesitation in recommending
The experience and service was excellent as was my meal. My wife enjoyed her seafood linguini although the sauce was not as flavoursome as she is used to and a little watery. Having said that they took that dish off the bill without us asking or saying anything really negative and was greatly appreciated, which just reinforces the fantastic service and experience we had today. Definitely recommend a visit, we will be back for sure. Thank you to all the staff in helping to make our anniversary a memorable one. Rob & Helen Cripps
Great night for my wife's Birthday treat! Excellent food & service!
Amazing food, and really lovely staff. Definitely will be returning!
Excellent greeting and shown to table where our two guests were already seated.
Great food served by very friendly staff. The menu is varied and prices represent good value.
Dear Cotes We have been coming to Cotes for many years and have enjoyed the experience. Today we had lunch at the Cirencester branch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My meal was fine, but my wife choice of mussels was a poor one as many contained grit and of very poor quality so we returned them. The manager offered another meal which we did not pay for. The staff were fine. As you must be aware, improperly prepared mussels are a major source of food poisoning. I hope my wife doesn’t suffer as as a result. Hamish Purslow.
Thank you, we had a lovely evening very busy for a Tuesday night, but a pleasant atmosphere. The set mennu is good value for money, our food was hot and served on a hot plate, just as we like it thanks you.
Really excellent as always! We had a table at the front so noise levels were minimal.
Great food and great service. Nice atmosphere and lovely interior.
Lovely meal for my partner and her sister and the French 75 cocktail was excellent. The crème caramel is still the best I've tasted, delicious.
A very enjoyable meal, staff all very helpful service excellent food hot and tasty.
Lovely breakfast, very poor service but I think the waiter was new...everyone has to learn I suppose! Food was tasty although sausages were a bit too peppery for the children.
Lovely food and attentive waiting staff it was a pleasure to spend an evening here
Meal turned up and bacon was cold, no milk with coffee, bacon not well done as asked for. Normally second to none but not good today. Restaurant was too full for the amount of waiters and waitresses.
We keep coming back to Cote Brasserie due to the consistently good service and food quality. The best restaurant chain we have visited.
The service was excellent. The food was really superb. We had a special celebration and everyone had a wonderful time. We love the atmosphere at Cote.
Fast efficient and friendly service. Enjoyed a family dinner treat for the holidays and whilst the children were well catered for it still felt like a ‘grown up’ meal. Just what we needed and will certainly come again. Thank you, great service.
Unfortunately the service was extremely slow. It took over 40 minutes to give our food order Then to find out a number of our choices had sold out! A disappointing experience to celebrate a family birthday.
Wonderful environment with excellent service. The atmosphere is lively but you can still easily hold a conversation. The food was fantastic (we had the duck and belly pork) and the service was exceptional, waiting staff were very polity and made the evening very special.
