Excellent interesting menu, quality food and good service. The menu offers traditional French dishes that are to a high standard and presented well. The restaurant setting is elegant and has a pleasant lively ambiance.
Cote was fantastic as always. Lovely lunch with family. The food was excellent and the staff were attentive as always. Look forward to visiting again soon.
Noisy table of 20 next to us and warm and flat Kir Royale's meant not up to your normal standard but food lovely as usual
Quick service and friendly staff. Always good value. Food are presented well and good portion. I would have given 6 but not happy with promotions as rewards when not able to use them at weekends.
Excellent friendly service, delicious food as always, reasonably priced. It was a very pleasant atmosphere, food was presented to the highest standard and the waiters were extremely polite and efficient.
The service was a bit slow today. The food was good but we were disappointed with the slow service. It was busy but this should be taken into account when allocating staff.
Fantastic venue, Great service and Amazing food. The Eggs Royals with a side order of Black Pudding was the best I've ever had! Will definitely be going back!!!
Very nice for lunch...food was really good and staff were friendly...enjoyed the specials and set menu...good value. Would definitely eat here again and recommend. Conveniently located with parking nearby.
Very good food and excellent service despite being totally full. It was very impressive how the kitchen and the staff coped with us all. Well done!
Pleasant staff and good food. Nice atmosphere. Restaurant clean and uptogether. Had creme brûlée /dessert wine as part of promotion which was nice touch. I really like the Cote Brassiere.
Always good, very good food all very well cooked, lovely polite staff and very reasonable prices. Good choice of fish, meat and vegetarian and also a great wine list
As ever at Côte, we had excellent service (our waiter was Ruy), especially when I managed to smash my glass of Blanc de Blanc all over the table and myself!) The food was delicious, and the ambiance was good as it always is. I'll definitely be going back (soon!)!
Meals enjoyed, though the fish dish diner deemed it less delectable by the one green leaf. Top marks for now stocking non alcoholic beer though!
Had the two course menu, eggs benedict and vegetable risotto. No room for pudding. Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere. Clean toilets. Cotes never disappoints.
Great service and atmosphere if a little speedy. Food really good value. Shame that the chocolate pots weren't the usual chocolate truffle delight but more of a loose chocolate mousse. Steak frites great.
Slow and unpleasant service; bad management - we were told there were no clean cups for coffee; the poached eggs were cold. I am not going again.
The food was excellent. we had the 3 course lunch option. The soup was lovely and the steaks were cooked perfectly and as for the puddings.... what can I say they were amazing.
Excellent communication from head office through to restaurant. Lovely venue, staff and tasty food. Really surprised at the number of meals that could be veganised. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Good restaurant, food was ok, not great steak I had was over cooked, not much value for money, if you have a big appetite don't go here 😂
Lovely environment, good food and attentive staff. We ate off the early diners menu and thought it was good value for money. Would definitely recommend.
We visited Cote for the first time due to its dedicated Gluten free menu and recommended by Coeliac UK. We tend not to eat starters so cannot comment on those but there was a good selection of gluten free main courses to choose from and the Duck was delicious - my wife also enjoyed the fillet steak with a peppercorn sauce - but did actually comment that the sauce was not quite as good as I make! I was however a bit disappointed in the selection of Gluten Free deserts and had to plump for plain ice-cream when I would have preferred something with a bit more of a sharper bite such as a lemon tart or cheesecake where as the available deserts all tended to be much richer or sweeter. There was also rather a lack of soft drink options - my wife tends to enjoy Elderflower or ginger beer neither of which was available. They also did not have a Sprite or 7Up for me...but did have a Coke. The Cappuccinos could also be a bit bigger as they tended to be all froth and little coffee. This all seems to sound rather negative yet despite this we did enjoy the evening which was to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. The restaurant was very busy due to it being a Saturday evening which meant the waiting staff were not quite so attentive as we would have expected and for what we had it did seem rather overpriced but as we don't go out that often we didn't mind and generally enjoyed ourselves. If we went again I think we would choose midweek when less busy and I would probably have a starter to make up for lack of suitable gluten free deserts.
Good food, good service, as ever. Loved the offer of a free glass of Kir Royale (as part of their Reward scheme). Very pleasant sitting outside in the evening warmth.
We brought friends with us this time who agreed that the food was excellent, especially the scrambled egg. However, on this occasion the service wasn't as good which I put down to the waiter appearing to be new. It won't put me off going next Sunday.
As usual we were not disappointed, the food as always was superb, staff friendly and attentive, even though busy you did not have to wait.
Great meal but watch your bottled beer on two visits they have tried to remove the bottle before it was empty when my main was being served.
Excellent breakfast as usual. Service was superb and the atmosphere is it's usual cool, subtle and chic! Looking forward to burgers on Sunday - best burgers in town
Very nice thank you. Food and service as usual high standard. Many thanks to you and your staff for an extremely pleasant lunch thank you so much thank you thank you.
Met friends for lunch at Cote. All went smoothly. Staff attentive, courteous, and efficient. Food very good value for money. Tip included in the bill, always a bonus, as it avoids embarassment, especially when lunching with others. Excellent middle of the road eating house.

Great food, good choice on menus, nice ambience and service. Service a bit erratic but acceptable. Nice to be able to eat outside in well shaded courtyard.
Lovely lunches. Pate then Haddock with lentils. Prawn gratinee then Poulet grille. Also complimentary Kir Royales for my birthday. Tasty and good service. Thank you.
Great staff, great food. Have not given the highest mark only because it was rather noisy. Maybe a white noise generator would help? Otherwise everything very good.
good location and menu and like the set price menu which allows for a middle of the week spontaneous visit with the family. Downside is the inclusive service charge.
Excellent food and service as usual. We never get tired of visiting Cote and enjoy the friendly service and welcome. Can't fault our experience. Thank you
We dined from the fixed price menu which was delicious and outstanding value at £12.95 for three courses. The atmosphere was excellent. The only thing that made it lose a star was a rather brusque waitress.
This was our first visit to Cote Brasserie in Cirencester and we have to say it was one of the most enjoyable meals we have had locally in a long time. Lovely atmosphere, excellent waiting service - even though it was very busy it was very light and airy on such a hot and humid day. Of course you have to mention the food as well - couldn't fault it - excellent all round and now a new local favorite!
Excellent food and service this was our fourth visit and all six members of our party were more than happy with our experience once again. Cote remains one of our favourite places to eat out in Cirencester.
Exceptional service, polite, friendly without being intrusive. You know what you're going to get with this restaurant change and that's consistently good food at a great price.
Good service which I've come to expect from Cote around the country. The value menu before 7pm offers a good range to choose from at great price and the main menu offers a good range of well cooked and well presented food. Try the French beer.
Fantastic food, service and ambience. A lovely start to the weekend. Recommend the fish cakes ... and the crème caramel is sensational! Can't wait to return!
Sat outside in courtyard, really nice. Very good service & food lovely as always. We have eaten at Cote many times including breakfast which is gorgeous.
The service was a bit slow but excellent when it did arrive. The food was delicious, especially the Creme Caramel and the Dark Chocolate Pot!
we had an excellent lunch here. the food was first class, a la carte and they gave us a complimentary kir royale as it was our anniversary.service excellent as well.
Airy Resteraunt , good selection on the menu and lunch menu reasonably priced.Service at the table rather haphazard, but overall would go back as good was good.
We had a lovely evening and the food was great. The staff were very friendly but the service was a bit on the slow due to it being very busy.
Great food, great service! 5* Restaurant was busy but did not effect service or experience, food came at good intervals, party of 5 every one enjoyed their food choices. Great atmosphere.
We had excellent food. The ambiance was delightful it really is a lovely place to eat. Excellent service (attentive but not intrusive). Very happy. We will be back. Thank you.

This is our favourite place to eat out in town. Great food and very friendly helpful service, as we've come to expect from Cote cirencester
Food was reasonable but restaurant was far too noisy Table was not cleared of dirty dishes very quickly Staff were polite and considerate Would probably not want to go again
Great friendly service, food was fresh tasting with delicious flavours. Good value, brought a friend who has not eaten at Cote before as she really enjoyed
As always impeccable service. Also as a coeliac it is good to have an interesting choice of gluten free dishes with a whole gluten free menu sheet. Even on the monthly set lunch menu there is a choice if you ask.
