Very nice staff here. Good value for money with pre-theatre dinner set menu available. Quick food serving. Definitely would love to come back in some time.
Great food, wonderful service, lovely atmosphere and excellent value. What more can I say. We really enjoyed a pre theatre meal as always. vote is always our restaurant of choice. We took our friends for the first time and they loved it too. The best pre theatre dinner we know. Many thanks
Lovely food and very decent price. Can’t wait to go back and try different menu items. Good service times and nice members of staff. Happy to recommend.
Tables too close together throughout restaurant. Sat in what felt like a walkway under a broken heater that was making me uncomfortably warm. Food good although out of calamari by 5.45pm.. my favourite starter! I go to a few cote restaurants but I shall be giving this one a miss for a while.
Every time we come to London we always book this restuarant ( first class as always )
The food was great and so was service. Could fault nothing.
Brilliant food nice staff will be eating there again going to Worcester soon
Always very good , whenever in Theatre land i head for Cote . good value for money , good food , friendly staff - don't need anything else
Lovely meal and lovely waitress can’t remember her name but had dark brown/black hair, a lovely smile and red lipstick. Always visit when in Covent gardens x
Party of 8, food served together, hot, and delicious!! Service was great. We were seated at a great table. Thanks so much!! Definitely coming back! Only one small complaint is the cheese board selection is a bit bland and un-exciting.
Nice food & staff, they were a bit busy so hard to attract attention but that’s fine
Lovely restaurant, the food was good, not great for vegetarians, service was a little slow, which would normally not be a problem, but going to a show after.
Good value for money lunch with efficient and friendly service.
Waiter was rude, the service wasn’t very good considering us wasn’t busy! Expected me to just pay the ‘optional’ 12.5% tip ar the end....no sorry you were rubbish mate
They do pre theatre menus. So perfect for an early dinner. The service is great and the food is too. Great for the price will definitely return
My friend and I had a fabulous lunch at Cote in Tavistock Street. The food and service were excellent with a great choice on the menu.
As usual, great value, taste, and service. Will be back,
Speedy and polite service. Good food; steak frites and moules frites plus dessert. Perfect pre- ballet dinner, didn't feel rushed at all. Standard Cote experience.
We pre booked online which was very easy to do. Staff very friendly and attentive with good knowledge about menu. Food very yummy, thank you for a great experience.
Very flavoursome food served by very pleasant young lady. Good service but no feeling of being rushed.
Fabulous place, with really nice staff. The food was truly wonderful, we couldn’t fault anything. I would honestly recommend eating at this restaurant if you enjoy eating good food at a nice restaurant.
Great and friendly service as usual Very busy but we were served promptly and did not feel rushed Still our favourite chain in town and we will be back
Always a great experience at Cote. Value for money, food is great and very polite staff. Well done :)
Good welcome, delicious food , friendly service. Will go back.
Good food and service. Restaurant was somewhat noisy but didn't really detract from overall good experience.
May 20 was my birthday and I had lunch with 2 pals. The promised complimentary kir royals were provided. Very nice! The food we all had was very well received; it included starters of very well cooked calamari, mains of asparagus risotto, a breton fish stew (mine) and mussels in a cream-based sauce. My pal who had the mussels showed the waiter the closed one remaining on his plate and said that it should perhaps have been filtered out in the kitchen. When we got the bill, the cost of his dish had been deducted as a goodwill gesture. Amazing! The coffee I ordered was a decaff espresso. Bizarrely what I got was barely a thimbleful, much smaller than even the most 'ristretto' espresso one would get in a bar in Italy. The restaurant in Tavistock St is quite large and, as it was Monday, a lot of tables were free. We were placed right next to a table occupied by 4 or 5 very garrulous ladies talking at high volume. I suppose we should have asked to move to another table! But never mind. On the whole many thanks to Cote where I've eaten many times and will continue to eat. Pietro di Bembo
Delicious well priced foods on Prestige menu served in good time, as we were going to the theatre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My on line seating request was met.
Food enjoyed, grateful for complimentary cocktail. Thought staff were very impersonal even though restaurant visited many times. Don,t appear to have regular staff. Will return as food was enjoyed.
Great food and service as ever. We love this Côte which never disappoints!
Had a very heart meal. Enjoyed my very delicious half chicken. Nearly no room for dessert. Yum. Excellent location for the opera House. In time for early curtain at 7.
Lovely food and very attentive staff. Never had a bad meal at Cote. The set menu is good value if you don’t add veg. Otherwise, I think you’re better off going a la carte.

The service was second to none on our visit, food was delicious and really good value. We had a really enjoyable evening before our theatre performance. Perfect!
Restaurant was so noisy and over seated and cramped. It’s the worst Côte I’ve been to. The food was lacklustre, my beetroot and mackerel slad looked a mess and was missing the horseradish creme fraiche. It was a really sad salad. I ordered the steak for main which was so riddled with fat I had to return it. The promptly replaced it with the sea bass which was fine. I did receive a glass of wine off my bill as a gesture for the steak which I did appreciate. Overall a very depressing visit which is a shame as I’m a big fan of Côte. They need to remove the amount of diners they’re trying to squeeze in and make space for plants and soft furnishings to absorb the sound in the place. My companion and I had to really raise our voices to talk to each other. Shame.
Very good experience at this restaurant with good food, fast and friendly service (we had to get to the opera) and very good value for money. Will certainly go back soon.
Very enjoyable pre-theatre meal served swiftly and very pleasantly. The staff coped well with the pre- theatre crowd. Steak was very correctly cooked to order. Great.
It was a fantastic experience. It was a little chilly in the area near the front windows. Next time we would be asked to sit further at the back. Other than that we had a great time.
There's a good range of menus. We all chose from the slightly dearer pretheatre menu. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Very relaxed atmosphere and our waitress was delightful. It's our favourite place before going to a show.
Gorgeous food and absolutely excellent service! Will definitely be recommending
excellent food and service. excellent value for moneyour. very noisy but then it was pre theatre and therefore very buau
Lovely atmosphere, cramped seating and the food took a long time considering it was the theatre menu. We ran to the theatre!
Very nice leisurely lunch at Cote Covent Garden. All the food we had was good and the waiter was very pleasant. All in all a good venue for our long overdue get-together.
Great location and buzzy atmosphere. Set menu for pre theatre meal which is brilliant. Excellent quality and choice. Value for money in central London. Busy but efficient.
Delicious food with excellent service. My wife required Gluten Free food which was no problem what so ever.
Very pleasant staff, excellent service and great food!! Great for pre or post theatre visits. Atmosphere was very conducive to a most pleasant and enjoyable experience Will certainly go again
Fabulous food and service. Thank you! Made our last evening in London memorable.
We have not finished meal yet but food good service excellent
Great service, friendly team and good food! A value for money pre-performance dinner. The complementary drink on arrival was just a lovely touch for my son’s birthday!
Delicious food and friendly, attentive service. We had the pate, onion soup and pork belly with dauphinois potatoes. All well prepared and piping hot! One of our favourite pre-opera places!
Had booked a table which is essential. Good service. Reasonable food. Very squashed in an extremely busy restaurant. We were sat by door so cold. The door arrangements need sorting. Toilets very shabby.
Our second visit to this excellant restaurant. Close to several theatres we have now used it for pre- and post theatre meals. Varied menu, attentive service and quality food.
