Booked a table for 6 people to celebrate our daughter's birthday but omitted to tell Cote that it was for a birthday celebration. Unfortunately 2 had to cancel, but the staff were very understanding. When they realised that it was a birthday celebration the three adults were supplied with a complementary glass of prosecco each, and they even gave our 15 year old grand-daughter a specially mixed non alchohlic drink in a prosecco glass. The food, as usual, was superb and we had a very enjoyable time.

Nice buzzy atmosphere even at 7pm Food was good and service excellent my partners pud arrived 5 mins after mine so they insisted on reducing it off the bill (i had already eaten mine it was so yummy )

We were celebrating 2 x 75th birthdays having known each other over 64 years so chose a half way point. We have been to your Chester Branch and Amersham which were delightful and I would say just had the edge on you because of noise. We were lucky enough to get a quieter table but we must expect a huge table to make a noise, it certainly wouldn’t put us off coming again. Food was lovely but my veal was ever so slightly greasy as it cooled but as it was huge it didn’t matter that I left some. I can thoroughly recommend the pancake with Grand Marnier i look forward to another on my next visit

The food was excellent and atmosphere was really pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I would have preferred to leave a cash tip. I asked if we could leave a cash tip and was told I couldn't. I am sure the website said this was optional. That is my only complaint as it was rather steep.

Excellent food with prompt and friendly service, despite the restaurant being very busy. The tables are well spaced out, which can be unusual these days. Highly recommended.

The most consistent restaurant I have ever known. The staff - many of whom have been working there for a long time which speaks volume - are professional and friendly and know they customers. Very impressive evening on 29 March 40 plus pleople in a group and all stages of the meal served at the same time. Love that place!

We all enjoyed dinner, cooked to perfection, a very varied menu. The staff were very attentive, from being met at the door, to serving the food, and checking that everything was Ok. We also had free gin and tonics as regular customers as long as we ate from the ala carte menu. We will be back.

We have eaten at this restaurant a number of times. The food was really good and the staff very friendly. The staff became aware that my partner and I were getting married at the weekend and when we paid our bill we were given a bottle of wine on the house, a very nice ending to a great meal

Always enjoy our experience at Cote Brasserie Dorchester The staff are always welcoming and attentive without being in your face. Food and wines are delightful. We always use this restaurant when we have a special occasion. Only the one irritant the automatic gratuity added to the bill unless you ask the staff to remove it. It could be an embarrassment for someone who is not confident and a slightly underhand way of extracting extra money from the customer. I did explain to the waitress when I handed her a tip, it is not giving a tip for good service I mind, adding automatic gratuity isn't British as a policy.

Quick decision to do late lunch/early dinner. Turned out to be a fine option. Quiet when we arrived at 4pm but great to look at fountains. We must have started a trend as restaurant filled up. Service and food always very good.

Good value set menus for a pre-cinema meal. Excellent service as always. Tasty French influenced food served piping hot. We return here on a regular basis.

Had a very nice evening at Cotes. Even though the restaurant was very busy we couldn't fault anything. Once again we all came to the conclusion Cotes is the best place to eat in Dorchester.

Delightful staff who were so pleasant and helpful. It was a friend’s birthday lunch and we were given complementary drinks. Our friend was also given a birthday candle and extra strawberries and white chocolate sauce with the words Happy Birthday piped around her plate! A very happy experience. All the food was delicious!

Great evening. Was given a booth which we hadn’t had before and was great. We were offered our complimentary drinks without having to ask which made you feel like your booking had been managed well.
