Great breakfast for Fathers Day. Super start to the day!

Fabulous food and very attentive service. Particularly love the sourdough bread and butter. Swift service despite being fully booked. A regular haunt of ours. Love it.

Very good meal, yet again, at Cote in Brewery Square, Dorchester. Menu was all so tempting we could hardly make our minds up and the waiter was very patient! Lovely food and atmosphere.

Booking was easy and staff very pleasant. Food was served very promptly and looked very appetising. Our waitresses were efficient and speedy. A good outing

Lovely food but little disappointed when they expect the 12% tip and don’t even give you the option even though it says ‘optional’ on the bill.....

Excellent meal, fast and efficient staff, pleasant and comfortable surroundings, our only quibble was that weekend meal costs are significantly higher than weekday costs, but very good food. We will return, but next time it will be on a a weekday.

We went for a family breakfast today with two toddlers. Food was delicious as usual, and service efficient and friendly. There is not a dedicated childrens menu, however we were able to split one full breakfast between the children. A regular venue of choice for us in Dorchester.

As with all of our many visits to Cote Dorchester, we had a marvelous time. Very attentive and professional front of house staff and magnificent food served just as it should be with spot on timing from the kitchen, made this special birthday visit quite wonderful, and we could not have wished for or found better. We noticed that all of the other customers, including another three birthday celebrations, received the same level of service. We have rated honestly all headings with 5 stars including the noise level because even with near capacity covers and four birthday crowds we could still have good conversation, and I am a bit deaf! Well done Cote, Dorcheseer!

Quick decision to do late lunch/early dinner. Turned out to be a fine option. Quiet when we arrived at 4pm but great to look at fountains. We must have started a trend as restaurant filled up. Service and food always very good.

Great service, friendly helpful staff and amazing food. Best way to celebrate Father’s Day breakfast

As usual the months specials looked really good. Our booking was for 7:15pm and although we both ordered the Scallops, there was only 1 portion left, so we shared this together with calamari. Our mains were both from the May specials too - I chose the chargrilled lamb chops which were excellent and my partner chose the poussin, but unfortunately he had to send it back as the chicken was still a bit raw in the middle. The problem was quickly resolved when they brought him a fresh plate that he enjoyed. Shortly after we arrived, the restaurant filled up, and there were engineers going in and out of the kitchen. Given that there must’ve been a problem, the staff were lovely as usual and everyone was served quickly.

Good value set menus for a pre-cinema meal. Excellent service as always. Tasty French influenced food served piping hot. We return here on a regular basis.

We visited with three small children (6,3 and 5 months) and were welcomed in despite having booked on line for only 4 having not seen we could book for more. Prompt and efficient service. A good experience all round. Thank you.

It was a pity that they had run out of the pork loin on the prestige menu. I think 12.5 % service charge is too high. Regards Stuart Palmer

Very disappointed in the service at this restaurant. I had pre booked a certain table weeks ahead for mother’s day in the special requests details and I have spent many times at this restaurant and spent hundreds of pounds in the past going here. Today was a big mistake from when we arrived we were ushered to a tiny cramped table with people seated too close together, the other option we were offered was the seating area we originally requested if we ate quick and got out of the seat for others who had pre booked (allowed to do so due to two more attending) It was a chaotic frenzy with babies screaming, old people coughing and a draft from the main windows by our table. We felt rushed the whole time and what was supposed to be a special occasion was a nightmare dining experience. It completely put me off going here again. I will be writing a review for trip advisor about this experience.

Great food and service. Staff very friendly and polite. We were there early on a Friday night and it was very quiet to begin with however it was pretty noisy by the time we left.

The food was excellent and atmosphere was really pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I would have preferred to leave a cash tip. I asked if we could leave a cash tip and was told I couldn't. I am sure the website said this was optional. That is my only complaint as it was rather steep.

We often choose Cote as our place to eat in Dorchester as it is consistently very good. We have visited with friends and everyone agrees that Cote is now on their list of places to return to. We used to go to the Cote in Guildford before we moved to Dorset and we were very pleased when the Dorchester restaurant opened.

The food was exceptionally good, even better than I recall from earlier visits. Will be back very soon. Service was very friendly and must put in good word for the house red.

My experience of Cote Dorchester is invariably good in all respects. My only comment tionigty was that the Swordfish dish might have benefitted from more seasoning and fewer capers.
