Côte Dorking

Great food, great service. No complaints. Reasonable prices. Have been before and will go again. A member of our party was 50 mins late, and they managed to deliver his main at the same time as the rest. Well managed.

Lovely Brunch today the first I have had in Cote Brasserie usually have lunches and evening meals. So nice to try something different for a change usually go to Carluccios in Cobham for Breakfast and Brunch. It was a good experience but the portion control at Cote is not a patch on Carluccios but the quality of food is better at Cote. (You can't have it all)

The food was of a good standard. Unfortunately we had to wait for the side dish of vegetables which they had forgotten bout. Also, one of our party asked for another drink but again this was overlooked and she never got it.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and of course we will be back. We have yet to be disappointed in Cote and consider it ti outstanding value for money. This is not always easy to find.

Cote were excellent when they first started, then dipped a bit but they’re back up there again. I wouldn’t normally order chicken on a night out as it’s usually a boring choice, but they do it so well, it’s really tasty! The cheese selection after was delicious too.

Hi I am a regular at your Dorking Restauarnt ,Can I say this crtism is one not about the food last evening or the dutymanager who is a beat guy. Four of my friends dinned we all had various starters and all had a main course of the Breton chicken etwitha coulple bottle s of Chable and Brandyto follow . We served by what I can only say was a over sellout waiter male ,he spoke fast his English was poor ,he was fast in every thing he did . My dinner was to catch up with old friends so a lot of chat , h(however this guy spoilt the evening then by emptying the bottles continueous noise , In the end I spoke to him and the duty manager who duly dealt with him . Spolt evening . Trading is needed here on how he deals with customers . David the Manager I am sure will deal with , i will continue to eat here , but with that noise LEVEL. Not as good as usual. Came for brunch as we fairly regularly do. Plates looked quite messy...bit stingy with the bacon....mushrooms weren't hot. Waitress great but more senior staff didn't seem to be providing much back up, and seemed cross (with us) when we pointed out that our hot drinks, which we'd been waiting for for some time, had been sitting on the side by the coffee machine right behind the manager, even when we'd asked for them. We gathered that they'd run out of milk - the cause of the original delay. How is that possible at 12noon on a Saturday?? A neighbouring table never got their hot drinks at all and when they asked for the price to be taken off the bill were told it was cheaper even without the drinks to pay the Breakfast deal price. They tried to explain that they wanted money off that because they'd been waiting so long, and were told they'd still be charged the full breakfast price. So they decided to wait even longer for drinks as it was clear no-one was going to take any money off. All in all, quite a disappointment. Usually much more efficient and gracious. To reiterate, our waitress was doing her best - looked to us as if she was the only one who was engaging with service at all.

As always a lovely meal and good service.we arrived late after a concert at Dorking Halls. No problem being served and no sense we were being rushed. Food was lovely as always.

We really enjoyed our lunch today. The staff, quality of food ,we couldn’t fault. The weather was appalling, but the ambiance in the restaurant was very friendly.

Excellent from start to finish! Firm elbow bump from David,and warm welcome from Ionut. Attentive service from Ciara...rapid service, spotless restaurant (we noticed surfaces being carefully wiped down), and of course excellent food. Lots of diners enjoying a wide selection of meals, several families enjoying the brief sunshine. A flourishing restaurant with a lively, friendly well led team, and superb food and service...enjoy

As regular visitors to Cote in Dorking, we were greeted warmly and looked after expertly as usual. The food and wine were very much up to their usual standard and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Food was delicious but the service was slow and not as professional as I would expect of this chain.

I invited my family for Sunday lunch and booked a table for 8 plus 1 child at 1pm in Dorking branch. We were a little late settling because my son in law had a diabetic attack. We were served initially quickly but the drinks were slow to arrive. Our first course arrived. Then a 40 minute wait for our main course, a test for any parent and very embarrassing for me. The restaurant was nearly empty and staff seemed to disappear. There is something wrong with this branch as we know others provide excellent food and service.

Service was excellent. Food did take a while to get to us, but worth the wait!

My husband and I had a lovely early evening meal here... Service was A+... The ambience at 6pm was more than I could have wished for.. The welcome was warm, there were a fair few fellow diners and the lights were low and we were cosy. Service was friendly and professional. Hugely recommend

Great atmosphere at lunch on Wednesday, lousy weather outside. We were in the best place in a DORKING! Very, very busy as a result.

We did like our visit at Dorking very much. The food and service was very good.

Excellent food, but an empty restaurant lacks animation and the staff are obviously a little on edge.

We visited Cote in Dorking for our regular monthly evening with friends. Everything was excellent, as always.

Although we are regular visitors, we entertained some friends who had not visited Cote in Dorking before. They were most impressed with the quality of service and food and have said that they will return.
