Côte Dorking

We had breakfast. Tasty Vegetarian breakfast and crepe with good quality coffee. The staff are always friendly and attentive. The service is efficient and prompt. I'd always recommend it.

Great food. An alternative was found for the fish option that had run out. Quiet but was Sunday evening, nice atmosphere. Always a good meal

Cotes is part of a chain but sets good standards generally. My only major complaint was that the lighting was so dim that it was difficult to read the menu without the aid of my wife's glasses. Other than that we had a very pleasant dinner with an ex-colleague and his wife. Two of us had deep-fried calamari which was the usual combination of crunchiness and slipperiness. The big surprise was the duck which looked enormous but was perfectly cooked and slipped down very well with dauphinoise potatoes and creamed spinach. I finished off with a delicious chocolate mousse

Great, friendly service as always and staff who make our young children feel really welcome. Quality of food is consistently good each time.
