Côte Edinburgh

All the starters were delicious but my friends said the chicken/bacon parmentier was too salty, the rice in the risotto was too al dente (me) but my other friend said the sausage was delicious. As for deserts créme brûlée delicious, dark chocolate too dense. Coffee delicious

The staff are fantastic and honest , The restaurant location is very good, the décor is perfect. will defo come back for another meal very soon.

Fabulous as always. Good food at a reasonable price. Efficient service which is non-intrusive and food is very quick to arrive after ordering. Waiter made a suggestion for a glass of wine which was spot on. Usually go to Cote in Glasgow and Edinburgh keeps up the high standard.

Food was lovely. Staff amazing. We've been here many times and would recommend it. Marked down slightly as we were originally seated in a very noisy area at the back amongst a large and noisy family pre wedding day get together. They were having a great time but we couldn't hear each other. The staff were amazing and moved us to a table nearer the front which was perfect - thank you!

Nice brasserie atmosphere , pleasant and efficient staff , menu is an excellent variety to suit all pallets and importantly the food is well cooked from scratch and has lovely flavours lastly it was good value , I’ll be back again !!

Wonderful food in a lovely environment, with friendly & attentive staff. Will most definitely be returning with friends to try more of the menu. The blood orange martini was delicious!

Excellent food and service as always. I love coming for brunch here. My favourite place in town. Crepe Complete the best breakfast choice. I would definitely recommend it then.

Excellent food and value at lunchtime. It has become one of our regular eateries! I like the fact that you are never rushed out. The staff are pleasant and somehow they get the timing just right.

An excellent lunch today. My wife’s lamb was cooked (medium) to perfection and the Creme Caramel was exceptional. We will be back....soon. John

The staff are always welcoming and try to give us the table we want. The food is good quality and well cooked and presented. However, sometimes the vegetables are too al dente! We visit most weeks as we live in Edinburgh. We recommend Cote to friends too.

Yet again our meals were excellent! The restaurant was very quiet on Sunday early evening. Enjoyed the free gin and tonics - March offer. Will be planning another visit soon!

Everything was excellent. Staff were very attentive, the food arrived quickly and was exceptional. I needed a gluten free meal and the staff were really helpful. It was very quiet (possibly due to the fact that we were there mid afternoon) which meant there wasn’t a huge atmosphere in the restaurant.

Very friendly staff who were understanding of the requirements for my wife who is a coeliac, ensuring that all food was served separately and labeled for peace of mind. They were quick and attentive. Nice atmosphere and excellent food. I would definitely go back when I'm next in Edinburgh

The food and ambiance is always fantastic. The specials change every month and as we try and go every fortnight it give us more choice. The service is excellent.

Good food. Lovely warm welcome. When my friends arrived and said they had been to Côte in Glasgow and Exeter we were given complimentary kir Royal .

As always our food was great. On this occassion we were seated upstairs. We felt we were not attended to as much as we normally would be when seated downstairs......my husband even went downstairs to find someone! We did get an apology. We are at cote Edinburgh a lot so hopefully this won't happen again.

Myself and 5 others were at the restaurant Saturday night. Our waiter was excellent, she was very pleasant and helpful....we were quite demanding lol! nothing was too much trouble for her. Food was absolutely amazing. I had crab for starters, then Lamb and finally Crème caramel. all beautifully served and prepared. We also had a complimentary blood orange cocktail which was also amazing. Cant wait to return here. Thank you Helen

The staff were very friendly and attentive the service was very good the starter was lovely but the meat in the main course was disappointing , quite tough, however they didn’t charge for my meal so would not be put off going again.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at a very relaxing pace with excellent service and food at a very reasonable cost. We will return in the future.

The member of staff who looked after our party of 8 could not have done ore to ensure we enjoyed the menu and facility, she was brilliant. The choice of food was excellent and wine choices more than adequate, in a lively, busy restaurant.

Very good initial service and excellent with my celiac gluten free requirements. Understood need for gluten free flags for cook/serving staff but maybe remove when given to customer. Due to seemed shortage of staff when restaurant got busy less attentive. However, would return and recommend Cote.

There is a varied and interesting menu and food was delicious. Very pleasant and welcoming service. Certainly worth a return visit. Good location in Edinburgh city centre.

Very tasty meal early evening at Côte. We have never been disappointed when eating here. Cocktail, two courses, glass of wine and coffee - served by attentive, friendly staff - what more could you want?!

Lovely family evening spent in Cote. Initially thought we were out of the a5mosphere of the restaurant as in a room at the back but we soon created our own. A couple of slips with the food but the Manager rectified them immediately without question. Would definitely return next ime in Edinburgh.

We enjoyed a birthday lunch at Cote Brasserie. The food, service and atmosphere were very good.

Excellent ladies lunch today. Very well looked after by the staff. We all ate off the lunch special menu & everyone was delighted with the food. my goats cheese starter was delicious. the sea bream to follow was perfectly cooked with interesting accompaniments which married well with the fish. We all had the creme caramel to finish which was absolutely stunning. Very busy, best to book.

The four of us had fantastic meal, it was our friends first experience of the restaurant and enjoyed the visit. They will likely pay another visit to the restaurant.
