We love the real French feel of Cote. The menu is very varied, something for any time of day. We like the position on the Cathedral Green in Exeter. . We especially like the fresh orange Mimosas and the friendly staff. We look forward to our next visit

Each course was very good, it's too easy to be harsh with chain restaurants, this was a great meal and experience.

Great food, lovely atmosphere and friendly service. We never feel rushed even though the restaurant is clearly busy. We had a couple of mix ups with orders and we didn’t need to complain, it was instantly sorted out. Would certainly recommend.

The food and service were fine but to noisy you need to have some form of noise absorption / acoustic panels or other so for that reason we won't be able to use this restaurant in the future .

Friendly service and great food as ever however it took over an hour for our food to arrive. It was only a salad! It was also very noisy.

I'm a regular customer at Cote Exeter, and I have always enjoyed both the high quality and excellent value of the food, and the exemplary service of the staff. I will certainly return many times.

We thouroughly enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent although it got a bit noisy later on in the evening.

Wonderful setting; beautiful view; attentive, efficient and friendly staff; lovely atmosphere. It would have been better if the mussels had been bigger than a 5 pence piece (if that!); the complimentary cocktails actually had alcohol in them and the taxed gratuity had been taken off my bill as requested... I ended up paying that and giving £20 cash... all in all a lovely evening and we will be back. Thank you. X

My swordfish was delicious. Would definitely recommend as the food is always good. However, if you want to be able to hear your table companions maybe avoid Friday evening!

Great service - friendly & welcoming along with an excellent atmosphere. Food as always was very good - apart from one vegetable dish which waiter removed & made sure we weren't charged.

Good food and service. Warm bread was lovely. Bit slow at the start but picked up. All good.

We had a great evening at Cote. Great, buzzy atmosphere, lovely food and wine and attentive, friendly, efficient staff. Please bring back the seafood stew- it’s delicious but has disappeared from the menu. I did though have the swordfish, which was really good.

Always enjoy eating here. Don’t manage to get there too often but very worthwhile.

Excellent food, excellent venue. Good, friendly service. Worth being in Exeter with the wonderful view of the Cathedral to enhance the experience.

Lovely location overlooking the Cathedral, friendly service, food really good. Especially liked the Grand Marnier Crepe and the scallop starter. Nice touch of birthday candle and free Kir Royale. Cote never feels like a chain restaurant.

We had a lovely breakfast yesterday. Great service and delicious food. Looking forward to returning.

Always enjoy our meals and the atmosphere at our local Cote restaurant in Exeter. All the staff are always friendly and professional.

After a very slow start , having to ask to be served , the food and service was excellent , the Flat Whites to finish off with were perfect .

Service was brilliant considering it was so busy. The food was really good, and we weren't rushed from our table despite being there for the early bird menu.

Excellent food and good value for money. Been twice in 7 days, good atmosphere.

Please don’t be upset at only four stars . That would mean almost perfection in my book. Very difficult to achieve . We had a very pleasant lunch . Food was good service was cheerful ,a little slow at times ,but nothing to spoil the 3xperience
