A lively, pleasant atmosphere. Staff welcoming and attentive. Courses generous and well-presented: the three of us had Boeuf en Croute, Haddock and Poulet as our main courses and we were full of praise for them. Overall, an agreeable experience.

Superb lunch, food was delicious served with a glass of your favourite tipple life couldn’t be better, fabulous atmosphere, great staff, what more could you want.

Very good as usual and service was good just felt the food was rather salty restaurants should be looking at ways to reduce salt in their dishes I had whitebait and haddock

Inexperienced staff, food quality was poor, but credit to the staff, for taking the cost of the moules off our bill and gave us a free desert and a free glass of Champagne, for the one I accidentally knocked over. This was an unusually disappointing experience, particularly as this was my birthday treat. I am regular user of Cote Brazz, Exeter but this was my worst visit to date.

What a wonderful place, I just want to say an insane thank you to Dan and his team. Seriously made our night by helping me to celebrate my mums birthday. He was so understanding and kind about our situation. He is a true credit to your team. Thank you to everyone who was working on the night of our visit. You were all so lovely and kind. Easy booking procedure - delicious food and very efficient and friendly staff who acknowledged one of our party whose birthday was on that day. A wonderful, relaxed and enjoyable visit.

As usual great interior very good staff and of course last but not least great food , we do enjoy going there for great choice of menu we recommend a visit but advisable to book

regular but infrequent diner whenever we come to Exeter. we always choose Cote upstairs. Service always good and my wife is Coeliac and they can always provide suitable glutenfree food choices.

We had a lovely time, staff at Cote are attentive and friendly, nice window table overlooking cathedral. Food was good as always, would have given more stars and a decent tip but not keen on the service charge being automatically taken.

Requested a window seat and got one! Very busy and, as a consequence, the noise level was very high. Service was good when considering how busy the staff were. Staff were friendly, efficient and obviously enjoying their busy evening. Oh, and the food was excellent if just a tad pricey.

We had the fish parmentier which we have had before but this time were disappointed. It was not as piping hot as usual and had too many prawns which were a little hard. If it had been our first visit to Cote, we wouldnt have come back but as this was the first time we were disappointed, we probably will return but wont have that dish again.

We were delayed on the M5 on our journey from Oxford to Exeter to meet our granddaughter at Cote. We asked for our booking to be delayed for 45 minutes and were impressed to find that staff at Cote were aware of our travel problems and gave us complimentary coffee after our meal. The service and food were excellent.

10 out of 10 for the delicious food, selection of drinks, level of service and value for money. It's like a little bit of France in the middle of Exeter. Can't beat it.... A must!!

I went to Cote for my 21st birthday for lunch with family. The meal was delicious and I got a glass of complimentary bubbly too! The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. We sat upstairs with a beautiful view of the cathedral.

Stopped off for a lovely two-course birthday lunch, light but delicious with an abundance of complimentary flavours. Staff were great, just the right blend of friendliness, but never over-attentive.

Excellent food and service as usual. Shame so many cancelled lunch because of virus concern. There was extra cleaning and sanitation in place. Glad we went before the world closes down on panic and over reacting. Life goes on.

Came for my birthday lunch with all my family and we had great fun and yummy food. The service was brilliant as usual. Everyone thanked me for choosing to have my lunch there as they had enjoyed it so much.

Super food and drink., the complimentary St Germain Spritz’s we’re very welcome. Disappointed you didn’t have the veal special which is what we’d come for, the Jerusalem artichoke with the chicken special we’re superb though.

Excellent meal, although I think it is a bit of a cheek to add on a voluntary 12.5% gratuity.

Staff was very helpful, especially when we wanted to change the table due to the draft downstairs.

Always great food at a great price. Wish we had one in Cornwall.
