Beautiful place, gorgeous food, fabulous service as always! The view of the Cathedral outside the window makes it even more of a gorgeous setting.

Another great night at our local Cote Brasserie. Food was top notch as usual and the service provided by our waiter Alex made it a perfect evening, especially during these tough times.

Another lovely lunch with the gang at cote .. well looked after by this fabulous team ... Natalia, Brett and Paul .. always greeted with a smile and hospitality by Lola ! And moody ! I love all the staff. Home from home. I tried the new fig Christmas cocktail very nice. The salmon on the prestige menu to die for along with the blue cheese endive warm salad yummy. Thank u Exeter for feeding us all and keeping spirits high during these times ....

I’m afraid my medium rare steak was in fact nearly rare. It would have disrupted our experience too much to send it back to the kitchen, so I ate it anyway, but at £18 I would have thought it would have been done better. Meals are normally excellent though and we had a good time.

Bit embarrassing ask for Christmas menu was told not available until 14.00 asked to check as wanted wine paring and Christmas’s menu advertised on web site from 12 got the menu but felt we were being difficult food very good

First lunch out since the second lockdown. What a treat! We couldn’t have chosen a better place. Lovely environment with excellent service. What was even better, they had their full menu available, plus a Christmas menu. Not this minimal selection of pub food that most places are doing. The food was great, could do better with the cheese board, though. Not one of the best I’ve had but the bread to go with it was very nice; not forgetting the quality selection of port to wash it down as well. Didn’t feel rushed, in fact it was a very leisurely lunch, nearly 3 hours. Social distancing was respected with lots of room spread over their 3 floors. Definitely one of my favorite pleases to eat in Exeter.
