Excellent as always, we will be returning more often when the covid restrictions are lifted. A big thank you to all the staff for their service today.

A really wonderful meal ,the food was exquisite ,the setting perfect and really fine level of attention and warmth from staff ,we loved it!!!

Although obviously there are less tables, the staff were as friendly as ever, delicious food as always. Great to be back. One thought, the black masks are horrid, why are you not wearing clear visors etc. We can’t hear properly what is being said, too muffled and a nightmare if you need to lip read. Can recommend Clear Shield.

We had travelled down to Exeter to visit our son at university so booking a table at Cotes was a great way of getting together and catching up. The meal was excellent. Super tasty, great service and covid friendly. Hand sanitizer was available at the top of every flight of stairs. You felt very safe. Highly recommend a visit

We had a very warm welcome and taken to our lovely table the service was incredible from all staff. Our food was outstanding and we were given a lovely glass of bubbles as it was my birthday which was a lovely gesture. Our whole experience was wonderful and cant wait to return Thank you x

Very good service and food. The staff at Exeter Côte Brasserie were wonderful.

Extremely rushed service. Completely spoilt our night in Exeter. No sooner had we finished our starter, our main course came. Then the waiter was clearing our glasses and putting the pudding menu in front of us. When we told manager as we left, he apologised but said 'if we needed a break, we should have said'! We just wanted steady/normal service, and they should have managed that professionally and as a matter of course. Very disappointed with them and the comments from the manager added to this too.

Fabulous food and great staff! Special lunch for my husband’s 76th birthday and we couldn’t have asked for better. The surprise birthday drink was EXTREMELY nice, thank you 😋

The food was absolutely fabulous. The service was not the best although it was very busy, we weren’t offered to have any extra drinks etc but the tip reflected the lovely food.

Attentive service, so glad I managed to have a meal with my sister before lockdown. Cocktail was a worthwhile indulgence on the day.

Lovely 3 course lunch at one of our favourite places in Exeter. We hope to see you again in December post the second Lockdown.

We always enjoy our visits to Cote in Exeter. The food is wonderful, service excellent, and the view of the cathedral quite soothing. I just wish we lived nearer, we would visit every week. We wish everyone there well during this ridiculous second lockdown. We'll be back!

Delicious food, fabulous service and charming, friendly staff. The only minor criticism was perhaps the food came slightly too quickly and the evening passed fast...but I appreciate this may well be a Covid adjustment.

Consistent and pleasant, it would be great if the menu was changed occasionally, as it remains the same with slight seasonal changes.

Nearly an extremely good experience - very near! I had the haddock fillet with pommes Lyonnaise and braised spinach, served in a champagne butter sauce. Everything was perfection, apart from the spinach: although there was a very generous portion of potatoes, the spinach was mostly missing, apart from a token few leaves. I'd have sacrificed a third of the potatoes for an equivalent helping of spinach.

Fantastic service and given a complementary glass of bubbly after a slight mishap that happened about 7 weeks ago and the honourable waiter remembered who i was despite being in different company. Can’t really get any better

A welcome respite from the pandemic, really fantastic meal and service!

Really lovely evening. Less tables in the upstairs seating area made it less noisy that previous visits so conversation was far easier. Food and service was fantastic as always.

The staff were delightful, very attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious - it is hard to get all the fish in a stew cooked to perfection but it was. Tender squid and sweet mussels and prawns with a perfectly cooked fillet of fish on the top. The tomato stew was so flavourful. The only tiny thing to make it even better would have been to braise the leeks a bit longer as they weren’t as soft as they could have been. My husband had the chicken and that was very tasty too. Thank you!

Me and my partner eat at Cote for our anniversary. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! The service was outstanding too! We had a brilliant night and would have to second thoughts about going back or recommending to others!

As always we received amazing service abs consistently brilliant food today at Côte Exeter. The servers were perfectly attentive and the food was spot on, all enjoyed by young and old.
