Excellent food and service today, with a very comfortable atmosphere it was a 1000% improvement on the last time I visited.

Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere. Service was brilliant and we didn't need to wait for so long until food arrived. Yum yum yum! Its my fav place to be and eat and chill. For the first time I relaxed and enjoyed it and forgot the covid, because it was so warm and cosy upstairs. This is what we needed chilli autumn evening. Massive thank you to the Chef always delicious food made with Love. Brilliant! 😆

Thoroughly enjoyable as always with great wine. Noise levels not too bad considering it was a Friday evening. Pleasant and helpful service as always. So nice to go to a restaurant that manages to be consistent with service, quality of food and wine. Thanks Cote!

Lovely friendly welcome. Asked if we could manage the stairs OK to which we replied yes but top of the house is two sets. No problem for us and worth the view. As usual the food did not disappoint. Starters were very good and our main was from the specials, chateaubriand which was delicious. Reliably good food at a fair price, carry on Cote as you will always be popular with the right formula no matter your location.

The food was delicious, the service really friendly my only disappointment was that the meal felt rushed, my friend and I wanted to enjoy the experience especially when it was my friends b day and we had no where else to go. We had a starter, main and cheese board all of which was served within side an hour it was a lot to eat and drink in such a short space of time.

What I expect from Cote is a good traditional french style menu produced to a high standard - achieved. I expect good timely service - achieved. I expect appropriately friendly and polite staff - achieved. The whole evening at Cote Exeter was pleasant and enjoyable and we went away happy. Highly recommend.

Really lovely food, brilliant service, staff very attentive. The only criticism would be that towards the end of our meal it got very busy, tables were not suitably distanced away from each other given the current circumstances it was abit unnerving. Need to space out people more.

Excellent venue for brunch and a very flexible menu. Some of our party had a full breafast, others just a drink and there was no pressure to be quick. Nice and quiet with attentive but discreet service.

A real treat to be back at Cote after their reopening. Lovely table in the corner by the window upstairs and as a result we didn't have the usual problem on the first floor of not being able to hear each other. Great service and excellent food as always.

Great food, service and wine. Really difficult to hear each other speaking though partly due to the acoustics and partly due to a table of 5 that was very boisterous. It would help dampen the sound generally if there were some soft surfaces. Still, an enjoyable meal nonetheless.
