Swift and efficient service with a smile, excellent range of food, beautifully prepared dishes which were well balanced and authentically French with an amazing view of Exeter Cathedral! We are big fans 😊

Excellent attentive service and very good food. Only slight downsides were 1. Having booked a table several days prior, our table was next to the waiters station which was disappointing and the general noise level was high.

Very cordial, no-nonsense - with a splendid table overlooking Exeter Cathedral Green. Polite, experienced staff who clearly know what thy are doing without being at all intrusive. An interesting lunchtime menu for August - tres bien.

Bit slow with both taking orders and giving bill but actual service was breathtakingly fast. As always, staff were polite and friendly and the lunch was lovely

We have visited Cote Exeter on a number of occasions and have invariably found the food to be of a high standard and good value for money. As on all previous occasions, the service this time was both friendly and efficient. As usual, the restaurant was very busy; a testimony to its fine reputation.

Efficient and pleasant service. Tasty creme fraiche and mushroom sauce with the poulet grille. Lingered over coffee and did not feel pressured at all. An enjoyable evening.

Enjoyed another nice meal at Cote. The table we were given had a lovely view of the Exeter Cathedral. The set menu choice was excellent and all dishes were tasty and fresh. All finished with a perfect coffee. Service was again very attentive. Merci

Sorry Cannot give you full marks as no one seemed to remember my birthday. My daughter had to ask for the complimentary Kira royals promised. Service was very slow to begin with. It was a long time before anyone came to take our order. Everything was fine from then on. Not up to your usual high standard. Food very good as always.

My partner and I had a very enjoyable evening at Cote Brasserie in Exeter. The food was delicious, staff very friendly and we had a lovely view of the Cathedral. Will definitely return!

We went to Cote last Saturday early evening. The food was excellent & the staff very friendly & helpful. we sat upstairs which was nice as we overlooked the cathedral. The only negative was that it was very hot upstairs as the weather was very humid & no air up there.

Fantastic position overlooking cathedral. Food very good, freshly prepared. Staff a little aloof, could be friendlier. We enjoyed ourselves overall and it was a nice way to introduce my Irish relatives to Exeter.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was superb. A very enjoyable experience. We will come again even though we do not live locally.

First time visit for breakfast, as always we'll cooked and presented with very friendly and attentive staff. Also bought a voucher for a gift, again very efficiently dealt with and presented in a gift box.

Visited on our wedding anniversary recently. Fantastic service fantastic food... not a lot more one can say!! Try it for yourselves I can garuntee you won't be disappointed.

As always good food and service, take a lot of beating and really good value for money. Only minor issue is the noise, like a lot of other eateries. Won't stop me eating there though.

As a chain this was better than most of the others and in an amazing setting The house with red was actually very good choice

A super Sunday lunch as always at this Cote! Gorgeous chicken and gratin potatoes! Crème caramel to finish. Yum! A lovely view of Exeter Cathedral too! Heartily recommend this restaurant!

The staff were extremely friendly, the food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant as a whole made the meal brilliant. We were celebrating a special occasion and it truly felt like a celebration- thank you.

Lovely breakfast, booked for myself and my daughter. I had eggs royale and she had the vegetarian breakfast. Service excellent, no waiting around for juice or coffee. Love the layout on the tables, it always looks so clean and fresh. Have booked again for next week!

We would have put it at 6 if you hadn't expected us to pay the staff as well as the meal. The 12 1/2% service charge was a bit over the top

Food was good but being served three courses in an hour was more like a fast food joint. It then took over 20 mins to get the bill!!

We managed to acquire a table outside to look on to the cathedral. The service and food were splendid! Would highly recommend and go again!

When our desert arrived the pots were very hot but the crumble was cold. It was replaced with no question and a goodwill amount was knocked off the bill. Our experience overall was very good.

It was my second time at Cote Brasserie the food and Champagne was amazing thank you, will be back, and sure to recommend to friends.

A very pleasant meal in an elegant room overlooking Exeter Cathedral. Lovely though it is, hard flooring does not absorb sound well and perhaps makes it a difficult choice for people with impaired hearing. As ever the staff were friendly, courteous and absolutely professional. This wasn't my favourite menu but that's an entirely personal comment, and the food is consistently good value and rarely disappoints. This particular branch has an especially agreeable ambiance.
