Côte Restaurant Exeter

We had a nice evening arriving at 7 ; stayed for an hour or two. My chicken was lovely and my wife enjoyed the salmon. All good.

Excellent food excellent service. We were given a huge menu choice, so only deciding what to choose was difficult. We all had different meals and they were all delicious.

It was absolutely Excellent as usual. Great Fresh and delicious food and great and polite service 😀 We just love Cote. We always chose the lunch menu which is very affordable 😀

Lovely greeting on arrival. A bit slow giving taking our orders. Too busy clearing all the tables which was annoying. The food was excellent as usual 👍

Excellent service, delicious food and at a reasonable price. It was fun, full of buzz and attentive service. We had a relatively small meal but it just suited what we wanted. The place to go.

Very good as usual. Breakfast & coffee with friends, service great, food good, prices reasonable. They are always happy to meet requests if at all possible. Lovely views of the cathedral.

Excellent service and as always lovely food. One mark down as realised on the way home our dish was supposed to come with mushy mint peas, the meal was still lovely but we only mentioned it on the way home as felt like something was missing. It won't stop us from returning.

Enjoyed another night out Cote. The location is fantastic and the menu always gives you plenty to choose from. Having a table upstairs is always a bonus as you get a fantastic view of the Exeter cathedral while you can enjoy nice food. The service is always excellent.

As usual, excellent service from the staff and the food was delicious .... enjoyed even more with the Kir Royal! The restaurant has an excellent ambience and the view over Exeter Cathedral is charming.

Very busy when we arrived at lunchtime so we were very pleased that we had booked! The servers were friendly and the food was very enjoyable.

Tasty meal outside on a balmy evening perfect cold kronenburg. Great start to a holiday. Quick service. Others in party had Crete caramel which had split sadly

Food good, service good , room somewhat hot and noisy, not much you can do about a lot of us seniors who tend to speak louder as we get deafer but you could have opened a window or two. Otherwise a pleasure for lunch.

Excellent show to seat right away no hanging around, the service was excellent and the food and ambiance was excellent. The position of the window seat looking over the cathedral added to the experience.

Very nice evening, staff very attentive and the meal was just as I expected despite running out of the duck breast an alternative was quickly put together. Will be back again.

Absolutely brilliant. We love Cote in Exeter. The food is delicious made from excellent and fresh quality ingredients. We usually have lunch rather than dinner and It is always a treat. Love it !

Another good meal apart from my husbands undercooked chicken,which was replaced.The restaurant was rather noisy so we had to struggle to hear one another. Service was good.

A very nice meal in pleasant surroundings. As we visited on a very hot evening the air conditioning was much appreciated and the service was excellent.

Food was great. There was optional servicd charge (12.5%) added on the bill, which we felt like compulsory charge. Food was good but the service was not as good as to give 12.5% tip.

From walking through the front door to the end of our meal we were made to feel completely welcome. The food and service was excellent

You can guarentee good food, lovely environment and view. Friendly staff. A regular venue to meet up with friends; staff also give plenty of time for the 'catch up'.

Usual high standard of both food and service but let down on this occasion by no having any Prosecco!! No doubt due to fantastic summer weather but they could have popped down to the local Aldi and made a killing by selling excellent Prosecco at Cote prices!

Despite a very hot lunch time the staff provide a very enjoyable experience. The items on the menu were perfect for such a hot day, with an excellent range of dishes.

Brilliant service from the moment we arrived. We had an upstairs table with a fine view of the Cathedral. Food was very good, piping hot with excellent sauces. We will definitely eat there again.

Good staff very attentive. Enjoyable meal overlooking Cathedral. Wine list good and the Poulet grille meal very good and good value for money. My husband always rates the chicken from Cote.

My husband and I had a lovely evening at cotes in Exeter on Sunday 11th June, service was excellent and the food was very nice, location was perfect overlooking Exeter cathedral, would highly recommended a visit.

Brilliant breakfast, one criticism, tables too small for the amount that needs putting down. We were 5 persons and had to put the water on the floor, piled the glasses up etc, need larger tables!

Fantastic service and food :) We would highly recommend to anyone wanting to eat in Exeter. More for adults meals than kids in the evenings.

Lovely food, we chose the early evening set menu and felt the choice was wide enough to appeal to all of us (seven in total). Attentive service too.

Great food and great service for a lunchtime celebration when my daughter finished her GCSEs. Set two course meal was good value for money with a good choice.

Good food , good service. The set menu is excellent value for money we had 3 courses for £12.95. The only minor criticism with Cote is they always include 12.5% gratuity on your bill.

Everything was just lovely. Great setting, great table in the window overlooking the cathederal, great food and excellent service. Would definitely recommend & cant wait to go again.

Simple to book online. Friendly team, tempting menu choices, lovingly prepared, wonderfully cooked and simply presented food, good wine options, fantastic view. Everything you would wish for.

Good food but a bit expensive. Very noisy due to wooden floors. I had the duck, plenty of it and very tasty but had to pay extra for side orders.

We pre-booked, food good, service good, not so good being seated right next to a large noisy party that arrived half way through. After a request we were moved to a quieter table but the whole floor was dominated by large party bookings who tend to pre-load get over excited start shouting and have a good time that's fine but unfortunately diminishing the experience for us. Not as good as our usual experience in Cote Old Amersham.

Had booked with Complimentary Kir Royales as per birthday celebration email offer. Was advised by staff that had to order off main menu as lunchtime menu could not be used with this offer. Have checked all terms and conditions and it does not state this anywhere. Embarassing for staff and my guests to be challenged this way. Manager did ultimately allow me to order from lunchtime menu, so rescued an awkward situation.

Attentive staff, lovely views overlooking the Cathedral and reasonably priced food. Early evening menu offers very good value as always. Good selection of food on this menu.

Excellent light lunch menu and good value for money. Light and airy upstairs with a lovely view of the cathedral. Efficient and friendly service. I recommend it.

Good food. Good service. The only problem for us was a group of four loud women sat near us and the level of conversation in the room rose to match theirs. As a consequence it got very loud. So loud we couldn't have a normal conversation. So instead of having a dessert we left to find a quiet pub.
