Excellent venue for brunch and a very flexible menu. Some of our party had a full breafast, others just a drink and there was no pressure to be quick. Nice and quiet with attentive but discreet service.

A real treat to be back at Cote after their reopening. Lovely table in the corner by the window upstairs and as a result we didn't have the usual problem on the first floor of not being able to hear each other. Great service and excellent food as always.

Great food, service and wine. Really difficult to hear each other speaking though partly due to the acoustics and partly due to a table of 5 that was very boisterous. It would help dampen the sound generally if there were some soft surfaces. Still, an enjoyable meal nonetheless.

Finally got to use the vouchers we were given for Christmas 2019! Not disappointed! Food was tasty and service was very good. Slightly disappointed that we weren’t offered the a la carte menu or specials as advertised on the website and when I emailed was told both of these would be available.

I was going to email this morning as our waiter was exceptional, and I wanted to thank him. He was friendly and efficient and dealt with an issue on the neighbouring table in a very professional and fair manner. Unfortunately I don’t know his name, but he looks like Rick Astley!! He’s a credit to Côte and enhanced our experience.

This was for my birthday and it was the first time I've been there and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and it was all well presented. The crème brulé that I had was the best I've ever had. There was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff were all friendly. The table was well laid out and the restaurant looked so pretty with all of the lights and Christmas decorations

We both really enjoyed the Ravioli dish - tasty and perfect light lunch. Given the restrictions the staff at Exeter are trying really hard to make dining still an enjoyable experience. Mike and Gill R

We had a delicious meal. The service was prompt and the staff very friendly and helpful. We were impressed with the precautions taken against Covid-19... so we felt safe and relaxed.

From the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left the staff were excellent. The food was delicious. We would highly recommend Cote to anyone who is looking for a venue for a party or in our case a more romantic meal for our anniversary.

The Crab Mayonnaise was better than last time - a more noticeable flavour of crab. Very nice. :) The Creme Caramel wasn't quite so good as usual - the flavour was there but the texture was somewhat 'collapsing'. Service was excellent as usual. I enjoyed my lunch.

I love Cote but on this occasion vegetables were undercooked not just ‘al dente’ And chicken breast a bit tough.

Brighten Your Day - Go To Cote A friend and I went to Exeter Cote yesterday for lunch - we love going there but due to Covid we have not had the opportunity for quite a long time. As always the service was impeccable, the food was delicious, we were made to feel extremely comfortable (too comfortable - we did not leave until nearly 19h00 after arriving at 13h00!!!). Being there made us put the upset of the 'outside world' to one side and we loved the hospitality, beautiful surroundings and care we received from each and every member of staff we met. Go to Cote - I know you will have a wonderful temporary escape!

Not the fault of the restaurant, lacked a bit of atmosphere, but staff were good and attentive.
