Very good service, excellent food and lovely views from the window. It was very noisy with some large , rather loud parties in. As it is one big open space it was a bit hard to have a conversation.

Lovely atmosphere, great location and view. Good service. Set menu offers good value but pricey if you choose out of set menu. None of our party of 4 fancied set menu and 2 courses, (main and pudding) plus coffee cost £98.

The wine was good . But I am sorry to say the food was poorly cooked , and very dry .visited this restaurant earlier this year and the difference was shocking

Cote Brasserie Exeter, alway good food and very attentive staff. One of our favourite places to eat. My husband has to eat little and often so when we eat at Cote he can manage all three courses and feel normal like the rest of the party. No many places like Cote

Cote is one of the best casual dining chains with a varied selection of well prepared and well presented food. The Exeter Cote is very crowded on Friday and Saturday evenings but its popularity provides a great casual atmosphere. We use it to entertain friends and family visiting us in Exeter.

Went tonight for my birthday they didn't know that until I arrived and they went a little extra by my making my desert special with a message. Little touches that means a lot.

Cote Exeter is a real favourite with family and friends. Always consistent, great food, and attentive staff. There is always a buzzy atmosphere, and seems to be busy lunch and evening times ,which speaks for itself.

Venue good; centrally located and right next to the cathedral. Good food and very good service. HI have used Cote Restaurants before and will certainly use them again. Thanks you!

Great restaurant, wonderful view of the cathedral. Food always excellent as is the service. Only drawback is it is very noisy upstairs when full - bad acoustics.

Great service and good choice of food. Dinner was very pleasant and they had everything on the menu. Specials menu was also very varied. Highly recommend this place the staff are always very pleasant and the food very good.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. All round great! If you want to be guaranteed a lovely meal in a lovely setting with excellent service and good value for money, then this is the place to come.

Absolutely fabulous, great first floor window table overlooking Exeter Cathedral. Superb Prawn and Chicken liver starters. Wonderful Fillet Steak and Fish Parmentier mains and a shared Tart Au Citron to finish. Lovely waiting staff, brilliant service. Go there 😉

The restaurant is in a lovely location overlooking the cathedral. The food and service was very good. Upstairs can get a bit noisy when busy. Would go back again

Lovely view over the Cathedral. Fantastic Service, which was both friendly and efficient! Food was excellent and Menu offered very good variety. Only issue was the Crêpe for dessert which seemed to have been confused with a papadum

I had the egg, bacon and walnut starter. It was delicious. Then I had the cod goujons and fries. Also yummy. Nice latte too. Excellent service.

Very pleasant meal with excellent service and a stunning view from the first floor. From the moment we arrived we were very well looked after. Thoroughly recommended. 😃

A really lovely evening. Never eaten there before. Food was great quality and the service was really good. Quick to clear plates away but didn't feel pressured to order quickly or leave once we had finished. Lovely view of the cathedral too.

We frequently dine out and the meal at Cote Brasserie was one of the most enjoyable. Conveniently located in central Exeter with views over the Cathedral Green. Freindly enthusiastic staff. Highly recommended.

Very disappointing. I have eaten there often and as you would expect from a chain the food has always been predictable but very acceptable. This time however, we waited an hour (we were going to a concert so needed to eat and go) and finally were served some very poorly prepared food. Some of the asparagus was actually rotten and one of the main courses - grilled fish and mashed potato - was cold and had obviously been cooked a long time before. I have to commend the Manager who obviously saw our distress and we were not charged for the meal. I think he had a hard job that evening! I would be reluctant to return to what had previously been a standard pre or post concert venue.

Good service backed up with excellent food from a wide choice menu which was sufficiently varied as to suit any diet whether vegetarian or not

Great service - we arrived early and we were seated without a problem! The service was warm, friendly and efficient. The food was fantastic, but I really feel, that the service was so fantastic, I probably would not have noticed if the food has been mediocre.

A superb English Breakfast and French Breakfast with Fresh Orange Juice and Tea. All professionally served in the Exeter Sunshine overlooking the Cathedral. What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning .

Not as good as usual. Waiter was brash and forgot our wine so we didn't have it. Food was good. We are regular customers but might try somewhere else next time.

We enjoyed a very good meal with excellent service. The prices were very reasonable. The restaurant has superb views over Cathedral Green so try to aim for a window table upstairs.

The food was beautiful as always and served incredibly quickly - all very hot & so nicely presented. Our Waiter was very efficient & pleasant and there is just one reason I gave a score of 5 rather than 6. We were shown to a table (we had booked beforehand) upstairs & in future we will always ask to sit downstairs. It is incredibly noisy upstairs - to the extent that it did spoil our meal as it was difficult to converse with each other. To anyone who hasn't been here I would advise booking a downstsirs table. Other than that........the meal was lovely and very good value.

Wonderful table, great menu as always changing and excellent value. We were kept waiting for our food but the staff acknowledged that before we had to say something and we were brought extra drinks so other than that excellent service. Looking forward to next visit!

Would have been six but I have never seen Asparagus cut in half lengthways - to stretch it. a cheap trick? Service was excellent from Tom,attentive and unobtrusive ,friendly and not garrulous.Perfect. Cote is still a favourite just don't order the Asparagus!

Service and high quality of food remain the same. Exeter is a particularly attractive and memorable site overlooking the cathedral green. Was not displeased in any way.

Very nice set 3 course meal with good choice but wish the desserts would change from time to time. Beautiful setting upstairs over looking the Cathedral

Excellent food, excellent staff, great experience. Côte is one of my favourite places to eat in Exeter. The set menu represents incredible value for money. It is always a delight to eat here.

Fantastic menu and atmosphere. If you are fortunate enough to be served by Michel (with the perfectly groomed beard) as we were, you are in for a superb evening!!

very lovely...such a lovely venue Food is very nice...my daughters and my steak was not piping hot, but the service was good, and the menu had lots of choice.

We were warmly welcomed by the staff and were shown to a lovey window table for two overlooking Exeter Cathedral, our meal was absolutely delicious.

Staff are so friendly and helpful, food is great value and really tasty, dessert (chocolate hazelnut pancake...) was delicious. Lovely view of Exeter Cathedral and all in all a really good dining experience.

Excellent and attentive service, delicious food with a varied gluten-free menu for Coeliacs - and 'the icing on the cake' a wonderful view of Exeter Cathedral

Everyone was friendly and professional and service was amazingly fast. The starter Gem Lettuce.Bacon,Egg& Walnut was delicious followed by Cod Gougons&Fries which were piping hot.

Excellent meal and polite and good service. Will eat there again good atmosphere and excellent position. Wish there was one in Torquay or Brixham. Will certainly visit again

I chose Asparagus with Hollandaise sauce, the Asparagus tasted as though it was the end of the season and the Hollandaise as if it was a packet mix, very disappointing as I had bought some in a supermarket at the beginning of the week and it was far superior. My Chicken was dry and the cream sauce was too rich it needed a strong veg to balance the meal. My husbands lamb however was superb, the Jersey Royals excellent, his Asparagus was caramelised, which improved them. If i booked again I would ask for downstairs as upstairs was very noisy
