Visited for a birthday celebration, food delicious and staff welcoming and efficient. Free cocktails helped to set the mood and we certainly were not hurried out, allowing ourselves over 4 hours for a get together!

Great staff, great food, great atmosphere. What more could you want for a pleasant meal out. The house red is smooth, fruity and far too squaffable.

All good apart from our complimentary cocktail which none of us liked called negroni.

Friendly greeting, shown to a table immediately (we had a booking), swift and efficient service. Menu was varied enough for us all to find something we liked and the food didnt disappoint. Would recommend the Farnham restaurant without reservation!

Absolutely perfect meal for Mothers Day. The service throughout was fantastic, we were well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Despite it being very busy we did not have to wait for anything. The food for everyone (7 of us!) was delicious. Very happy we chose Cote Farnham again for a special family occasion and will be back again soon. Thank you.

Excellent food, good service. Fabulous location. Above all outstanding value for money. An ideal place for alfresco dining in warm weather, given that the restaurant is well situated in a charming pedestrian precinct away from traffic pollution and noise.

I come to Cote Farnham a lot with my partner for romantic dinners, Mother’s day brunches and lunch with friends. Today was a belated mother’s day brunch- for the first time we encountered a minor snag which was promptly dealt with and the manager excelled himself with exceptional generosity when I asked for the bill which he insisted on paying! I love Cote and will continue to highly recommend.

Food delicious as always. Service quick and friendly. It was fairly quiet but still an enjoyable, relaxing atmosphere. Issue with “cloudy water” sorted quickly and without fuss.

We enjoyed a very pleasant evening at Cote Farnham. The food was excellent, beautifully cooked and presented piping hot. The waiter was lovely so pleasant and friendly. There was a slight mix up with our order but it was rectified immediately and in no way impinged on our experience. Thank you Cote.

Never fails to impress. Always busy which creates a friendly atmosphere. Service is quick and food appears at the table like magic.

A great evening out, again. The food was amazing again. Service was brilliant. I would of given it top stars but on the booking sheet it did ask about the occasion . I filled this in because it was my birthday, but it wasn’t picked up here, as it had in previously. We had the valentine set menus with pairing wines. Very nice.

Always an enjoyable experience at Cote Brasserie Farnham. Lovely surroundings, great choice from menus and all food superbly cooked and beautifully presented. Service could be better but they we’re training new staff so will forgive them. One of best places in Farnham to eat.

The usual excellent food and good service. The complimentary cocktail was very pleasant. I would have preferred the moule in a white wine sauce as the cider based sauce was not as enjoyable. The filet and rib eye steaks were very good

The food was fabulous! It was worth the wait to have food that had obviously been freshly cooked. We especially liked the complementary blood orange cocktails and the Breton Fish Stew. Please don't change anything!! The only thing I would love to see on the menu is Pecan Pie as that is my favourite dessert!

Very disappointed, took 30 mins to get a drink. Other tables after us for food and drinks before us and we were only 3. Food was exceptionally small compared to usual and we eat here a lot. The chips were in a smaller pot, I only got 5 goujons and the potato gratin was smaller than usual and we have come out hungry. We have had a few bad experiences lately and it has put us of coming to eat at cote brasserie again, we used to come once a week. Overall, not happy with the service and the drastically smaller portion sizes.

We are regulars at Cote Farnham; it is our go to restaurant for breakfast. Russell and his team ensure that customer service is always top notch. Today was no exception. I booked later for Mother’s Day. However, we were squeezed in providing we could return the table within the hour. My Mum, who orders possibly the most tricky breakfast order each time, has no trouble eating quickly (oink) and therefore we were onto a winner. Service, as always was swift and efficient. The breakfast arrived in good time, which ensured we had time to enjoy our breakfast within the time constraint but without feeling we were rushing. The food was piping hot and delicious. We are regular diners, always a lovely warm welcome, good food, monthly specials, good value for money. Staff are always friendly and helpful, with a good knowledge of ingredients on the menu.

As usual standard is very good. It was a family celebration and Cote didn't let us down. Staff as always very good. A favourite Farnham restaurant!

Very good meal and service. The inside dining room was rather noisy. Shortly after sitting down at our table, a large party arrived and sat close to us. They were celebrating some event and were clearly in celebratory mood. For us, the noise was rather overwhelming and we asked to be moved to another part of the restaurant which the staff agreed and did without any fuss. I think there may be a bit of an issue with the acoustics in the inner dining room. In all other respects everything was fine.

Generally have a good meal here, a bit disappointed today, sour dough was toasted but cold and very hard. salad nicoise portion seemed to be lacking in salad yet dripping in dressing.

Good atmosphere, but waited some time for order to be taken. Lack of pre-dinner drinks i.e. no choice of Gin and no choice of tonic. Then ordered Breton Cidre, but was then told there were none left. Side order of green beans was forgotten when mains were served.

Cote Farnham is my favourite restaurant, the choice of menus is excellent, the food and presentation is always good too. The staff and general ambience of the restaurant is excellent.

Slightly slow service - especially on arrival - had to try to get the attention of the staff to ask to order a drink ) Coffee frothy but not particularly hot - both times we had a cappuccino

I have to start with the positive, the food was out of this world and can not fault that, Sadly now the negative, It took such a long time to get served a drink, when the waitress turned up totally ignored one of the party, then took even longer to come back and take the rest of the drinks, the food order also took a very long time, no waiter or waitress seemed interested, we spent over £200 and I can safely say that because of the poor service, we will not be returning and is a shame because like I said that the food was outstanding

Excellent family meal. Service was good. Didn’t have to wait too long to be served. Was quite noisy as there was a family party meal close to us. Which was a shame as I’d asked for a quiet’ish table. but enjoyable experience anyway.
