Always good food, well presented. Service generally good, but sometimes a bit slow. It's recommended that you book as extremely popular, even for breakfast and weekends. Good value especially the Formule breakfast at 9.95. Be aware there is an 'optional' 12.5% service charge added to bill. Have this removed if service isn't up to scratch or you prefer to give a cash tip.

A polite and friendly welcome, great service, food served in a timely fashion....and good food too. We had tried to register a free bottle of wine on line, but did not receive the confirmation email; we mentioned this to the waiter who offered us a free bottle of wine. Thank you Cote.

Great food, great service. I can highly recommend the fillet steak and Tarte aux fin Pommes. Staff are exceptionally good at taking care. We will be back.

Meal was love and reasonable value. Our pudding got lost for some reason but they did eventually arrive and the staff were apologetic. Perhaps it's me but service is added automatically when I think it should be left to the discretion of the diner.

Local Cote at which we are regulars. Always a wonderful welcome from well mannered staff here. Went for brunch (not for the first time) and food always fab.

Had a very good meal .... 2 courses from set menu. Food excellent and good value . Had starter and main course. Go to Cote often .... Guildford , Farnham and Godalming . Breakfast is often choice .

Lovely food and friendly staff. We had the lunch menu and each course was yummy. My mum is in a wheelchair and they were very accommodating with where we could sit. Will visit again.

Lovely food - took advantage of the special deal for 2 courses before 7 pm. Pleasant staff and a very pretty outside area with blankets on offer if it got chilly.

I always enjoy eating at Cote, however on Sunday a couple of issues arose; the sparkling wine was flat and the olives were not ready to be served prior to lunch. The young waiter was very polite and apologetic, replacing the wine and remaining professional. Overall, still an enjoyable lunch.

Not a cheap place to eat but service and food wonderful. Only one very minor criticism would be the coffee was only luke warm but would definitely go again

Nice welcome, excellent service, good choice of reasonably priced main courses and desserts. The duck breast and rump of lamb were nicely cooked and well presented. The Cote du Rhone was ok. We will definitely return.

Waitress was lovely and helpful. Food great but had to wait for potato gratin. Summer special pudding of creme brulee said it was with raspberries but it came with strawberries. Minor points overall a nice relaxed fail lunch for 18th birthday.

We love Cote and it is always good. But this time it just didn't hit the mark. A lot of the food was very salty which is unusual for them. Nothing to do with the food but it was a birthday celebration and I think I am tired that the long padded seats are so low so I ended up sitting on the hard chair jammed against a wall looking into the mirror. I think it is time they changed their seating. Various small things just not right yesterday. Maybe it was a one off. It wont stop us going again.

Excellent tasty food, I had rib eye steak and my husband the veal. The staff were attentive but not too much. In all a lovely evening. The Cote Farnham is an overall pleasurable experience.

Food and atmosphere as good as ever but the starter was rather late coming, possibly because the restaurant was packed. I would have liked a chocolate with the coffee to round off the meal!

We visited for lunch and on a beautiful sunny day - so the town and therefore the restaurant were very busy. It did feel like just that that as we were seated. Rather rushed and a little crammed in. The complimentary Kir royal (for my birthday) wasn't very nice - too sweet and not very bubbly.... but it was a freebie, so didn't complain. The food however was good.

The service with a smile and good manners was exceptional but waiting for half and hour for the meal to arrive was not. It was a warm night and we had to ask for ice as the water was very warm. I appreciate that at a busy time it is difficult to serve everybody, my critique is purely to help. Maybe bring a jug of iced water in the heat as well as the earthenware bottles.

Lovely birthday breakfast with complimentary kir royales, sat in the sunshine on the terrace watching the world go by. We really recommend breakfast at Cote!

I was dining with a very elderly frail aunt, who sadly didn't like the lightly seared tuna nicoise, which I adore! She asked our delightful waiter if she could have it well cooked and he arranged for this. He was an extremely pleasant and accommodating waiter, and it is remiss of me to not have remembered his name- to be honest i was engrossed in trying to hear my aunts conversation, as it was very busy ( and she should have a hearing aid but refuses!). Overall I can highly commend Cote in Farnham for their excellent and receptive staff and being so very well catered for, for a Sunday lunch and on a particularly hot day! In fact in addition, we had a table outside which was lovely with canopy. Many thanks

My friends and I always choose to eat here as the food is tasty and we like the atmosphere. I have a number of food groups I can't eat and the staff are always helpful and friendly.

Yet again a lovely evening at Cote Farnham, great attentive staff and wonderful hot and tasty food. We have visited several times and have yet to have the same dish twice as there is always something else to try first.
