Greta food and service thank you for a lovely evening

Great food and friendly staff but it took the waitress four attempts to find us a kids menu and when my daughters meal arrived it was missing chips. Then we weren't offered any sauces or cheese for my son's dish.

Excellent service, tasty, well cooked food and good value for money. Friendly and welcoming staff.

I arrived 45 minutes late to meet my partner for the table I'd booked and the staff were absolutely relaxed and helpful. Got the quiet table I'd requested.

The initial reception set the tone for a most enjoyable lunch. We were celebrating our 56th wedding anniversary and it couldn't have been better. Food was exceptional and I had the best rare ribeye steak that I can remember.

My partner and I really love Cote at Farnham and the staff are so friendly but the service really needs a serious tune up. We've been 6 times in the last t months or so. Every time a drinks order is forgotten or we have to chase for missing drinks. Ditto food or side orders. Ditto dessert wine. Staff also 'process' you - as soon as they think you've got your food or drinks you become invisible. It's important to constantly scan all tables to see how things are going rather than turn your backs and start talking to colleagues. One young male server in particular is great with charm offensives and when you're on the recieving end that social flirting makes you feel great, but when you watch him spend about 20 minutes processing the bill for a table of 4 MILFs while other tables haven't got their orders he comes across as cheesy as ineffectual and amateur in a rather sleazy way. Meanwhile the female servers are left to pick up the pieces - if they've spotted the customers waiting. Whenever anything goes slightly wrong you comp us a load of stuff which is fine but wouldn't you rather get it right first time and not look so basic?

Pity that almond croissant or pancakes unavailable. Crispy bacon was good. Bacon baguette was poor but manager agreed and added bacon

We sat outside, as the law requires, and it was lovely. We were well looked after and we warm enough with the heater.
