Côte Farnham

We used the complimentary rose wine deal and ordered off the summer menu and as usual the food - my friend's steak and my chicken - and service were great.

Unfortunately today there was a problem in the kitchen and our food took a very long time to come & when it did arrive its was luke warm and items were missing off the plate. The waitress did her best to sort the situation but even when they had realised that our food had not arrived originally they offered us a complimentary cup of coffee which then didn't arrive until after the food had been served. We had been looking forward to revisiting as we had been for breakfast a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful time. This time we took our daughter and were very disappointed with the service all round. We were advised to come back in a couple of weeks and it should be back to normal.

Another enjoyable visit with good food and good service. Went for a family celebration, combined with a promotional offer making it good value as well.

Fabulous warm evening and reserved a table near the outside.very pretty with all the candles and tea lights. Steak as always was fantastic with the new hollandaise truffle sauce.

The outside patio area was delightful on a lovely Summer's evening. So good to eat outside. Food as good as always and reasonably priced. Service quite good but not as attentive as usual ie forgot the water. Jane

Excellent meal at out favourite restaurant. The veal was delicious as usual and the tomato salad and frites complimented it well. My husband also enjoyed the sea bass very much. The frozen berries and hot white chocolate sauce was lovely and the crème brûlée also. The complimentary bottle of rosé was really nice and served at just the right temperature. All in all a very enjoyable meal and all served by a very nice young lady.

As alway we enjoyed a lovely meal from the early evening menu. Tasty but at a very reasonable price. The house Todd wind wax very nice too. Great food great atmosphere.

At Cote Farnham it was a very hot evening and we were offered a table for four, although there were only two of us, opposite the open doors, nice and cool. Food was excellent as usual, my wife loves the grilled tuna so much better than we can cook at home. Lovely meal with Pic poule de pinet wine and a coffee to finish.

Lovely meal, pleasant atmosphere. Great staff who are very helpful and attentive. There’s a good choice of wine by the glass and a jug of water is brought to the table.

Very good service - which it generally always is :-) Good food. Sat outside in Farnham and such nice weather we thought we were on holiday!

Great food as usual. But the service was rather slow. Short-staffed perhaps? Very cosy corner booth which suited our group perfectly and the staff always manage a smile.

Service was good and the fact that we could sit outside made the visit even better. It was good to see so many people sitting outside in the summer sunshine. I have been twice lately but it would be good if the set menu changed more often.

Although we booked it took 20 mins to seat us and another 20 mins to get our drink. Very busy for father's day.Too many tables were filled when the kitchen clearly couldn't cope with orders. It seemed disorganised and chaotic. Not the usual COTE experience

Enjoyable breakfast can be a treat in Farnham town centre at cote. Try the formule. Good value and very tasty. French breakfast coffee and juice.

Fabulous food, professional staff attentive but overly so. Another enjoyable evening - as always. I frequent Cote in locations in many cities in the U.K. and have always been more than happy with the wonderful and friendly service.

This is a consistently great place to have a meal. Whether it is brunch, lunch or dinner the staff always note your needs or special occasion. The menu is regularly updated and there is always something for everyone. Enjoy the outdoor terrace on fin weather days!

Service was very slow and very busy. Also super noisy and had to almost shout, not sure why it was so noisy. I won’t be returning had to wait far too long for our food and drinks.

Cote Farnham is a great restaurant, pleasant decor, great location and very friendly, efficient staff. Set price lunch menu is great value and always my first choice for meeting local friends. Only negative is that the coffee is not great, too strong and bitter.

Great food, extensive gluten free menu and warm service from point of arrival until leaving. fantastic. Will definitely r returning to the Farnham restaurant again.

The staff were lovely, the food was great. The only issue was that it took a long time for the food to arrive. However, it was a busy morning (Fathers Day) and the food was well worth the wait!

Food was great, though service was slow due to the restaurant being incredibly busy. The veal Schnitzel in particular was delicious. Staff were lovely though, and very accommodating. Good value for money.

The meals were nice but just not the top quality we've come to expect from Cote in Farnham. Duck Confit was a bit dry and disappointing and I think the moules were a smaller portion than previously? Good service but it was incredibly busy and as a result very noisy so difficult to hear each other at our upstairs table. Nice evening but we won't rush back

Staff were very efficient, polite and helpful. It was a great meal and loved the pickled cucumber. As ever the management team had a very very busy restaurant running extremely smoothly. One of the best Cotes

Unfortunately they had overbooked by far to many and the service was extremely slow. Customers who had booked were queuing out the door and round the corner waiting for their tables . Despite this the food was delicious

Despite being extremely run off their feet for Fathers’ Day, staff and managers alike were hugely accommodating, helpful and friendly (...as always). Plus the good was excellent. A truly great place to dine, with the lovely liest possible ambience because of such lovely staff.

On a very busy Father’s Day morning Cote was well run with no change to the food and service, all simply excellent as were the staff.

Lovely lunch outside in the sunny restaurant courtyard. Friendly, efficient staff, delicious food and drinks. The crab mayonnaise starter is always a favourite, especially if you add a splash of red tabasco sauce! Definitely recommend.

Super evening. Attentive but not over zealous service. Lovely atmosphere - as always. Enjoyed the upstairs experience. Think it was good value. 3 courses of the al a carte menu plus a bottle of wine for 2 was just over 100 including service charge. Happy with that.

nice service, nice food, nice environment, service breakfast to one clock at weekend which is very handy for wake up late weekend , will like to go back

Lovely food and efficient service chicken liver pate and the rib eye steak was lovely though we should have said medium rare not just medium though it was lush

Great food and atmosphere, as expected. Service was very good & the new menu for May gave a nice selection.

Excellent food, great service. Could not fault anything. Our starter took a little long to arrive but the staff were very apologetic and took it off our bill which was unexpected but very lovely. Would highly recommend Côte.

The staff were attentative the food was tasty and well prepared. They made a special effort to clear a table we preferred outside in the sun. We had a good lunch.
