Lovely meal, staff went out their way to make the meal special for my boyfriends 21st birthday-we were given a complimentary glass of Kir royale upon arrival and they also sung happy birthday for him whilst presenting the dessert which had been decorated for his birthday too. Lovely staff and service

As usual amazing food coupled with fantastic service. Lovely touch of a complimentary drink on arrival with a birthday card and decorated complimentary pud for my sister for her birthday. Couldn't fault it and booked again for Saturday lunch. We'll done and thank you to all of the staff. It made it a perfect birthday trwat

I’m a bit biased because the Cheltenham restaurant is my favourite but I was meeting friends in Gloucester. The food was, as always, tasty and great value. The only down side was the service was not as good as I’m accustomed to at Cote. A bit pushy. A bit lax. However I have my next Cheltenham booking lined up.

We had a wonderful experience. The food excellent, piping hot very tasty. The service again excellent very professional and friendly smiley, I noticed they made everyone feel valued. We'll be back. Pami x

Impressive for a chain restaurant. We we're welcome and seated and the manager (I presume) took our coats. Staff were attentive but not overly so. My partner had steak tartare for starters and I had the smoked salmon. Both were delicious (I'm going by his judgement on the tartare!) My main, the lamb rump was amazing. I couldn't fault it. My partner's Cod loin goujons -in his words- were a posh fish and chips but again; no complaints. Dessert was Tarte au Citron for me and proper Creme Caramel for him which we both enjoyed. We left full and satisfied. We'll definitely go back.

Our dinner last night was fantastic! I noted in the booking that it was a friend's birthday and the staff at Côte went above and beyond for us. My friend had a glass of bubbly on arrival and a special birthday pudding. Service was fantastic, wait time was also great. And the food was delicious!! Thank you everyone at Côte, we will definitely return again soon :)

Not bad, quiet table for a business meeting. Mid week obviously less busy. But overall ideal location and good food. There was something on the menu for each of our guests.

Very busy as Mother’s Day, mums meal was delayed but apologies and took cost off bill, we didn’t complain the staff were aware of situation and dealt with it themselves. Well done!

Excelllent food and excellent service .The waitress went out of her way to accommodate our dietary requirements and we really enjoyed the food so much we had 3 courses.

I had a wonderful lunch at Cote Brasserie in the Gloucester Quays, as I was celebrating my birthday with one of my closest friends. Upon being seated we were given a free glass of Kir Royale champagne, which I thought was the perfect compliment to our food order and a special little treat. Lovely atmosphere and not too busy seeing as it was half term as well. Excellent and efficient service from friendly staff making our experience one to remember! Especially when they went the extra mile by singing me Happy Birthday and had even decorated my desert plate with Happy Birthday written in chocolate and raspberry coulis, with a candle in the fondant. Best day ever! I've always liked dining at Cote Brasserie day or night, but this has really made it my number 1 restaurant, so will continue to recommend it highly after making my day special and making me feel like a truly valued customer!

Have been to Côte many times before in lots of different locations. Food is always perfect and the staff always go above and beyond and couldn’t be more welcoming and lovely in the Gloucester restaurant. Today we had to wait a long time to get attention from staff, when we did get impatient it unfortunately resulted in shouting excuse me and waving for someone. It took around 15 minutes to even get some water for the table. Food took a while but was well worth the wait! Once more we did have to wait a while for the bill and for someone to take the payment which in the end we hunted someone down ourselves as we just came in for some lunch then wanted to be on our way. However these are just little things, because the energy of the staff and their kindness out shone it all. Definitely coming back and regularly! Thank you Gloucester team!

Food was excellent and staff were very attentive. This is one of my favourite restaurants at the Quays and the one we visit most often.

Always great service at CÔTE in Gloucester; staff go out of their way to make the experience a good one. Food is always excellent, we do Sunday brunch as a family here for birthdays.

There didn't seem to be many staff working as we had to wait to have our dessert choices taken and to bring the bill (which we gave at the same time). My friend was not happy with her vegetarian option (cheese and spinach) as it was burnt but she didn't let the staff know until she had finished the rest of the meal and so they tried to offer an alternative, which wasn't wanted but did give us a small refund in the bill, which was very much appreciated.

Excellent food, ambience & staff! Always a great experience whether for lunch or dinner! The staff are really friendly but very professional. Would highly recommend a visit!

I took my parents here for a birthday treat and overall the experience was disappointing. Soup as a starter was really planned and the Lamb had to be sent back as it was undercooked which the manager agreed and organised a replacement dish. In addition the service was really really slow and there didn't seem to be enough staff to cope. It took well over 2 hrs to complete the meal and they still added the significant service charge to the meal which we then had to ask them to take off.

From the moment we were greeted to the moment we left, this was an excellent experience. French onion soup was delicious, and the toast provided with the chicken parfait was sweet and tasty. Beef bourgignon and lamp rump dishes were perfectly cooked and desserts of creme brulee and chocolate mousse were divine. I had only breakfast at cote before, I will definitely be back for dinner again. Well done cote!

A firm favourite of mine at the Quays. Staff are very friendly, attentive and go out of their way to help, food is always presented nicely and a great restaurant if you are coeliac or gluten intolerant as they fully understand your needs and requirements. If you go at certain times eg before 7pm, they do great deals on 1-3 courses.

All very good - decent food at a reasonable price so we'll be back

As usual we were well received though earlier than our time booked, given a nice table and also every attention by the staff. For the first time I ordered steak/frites. For me the meal had a very high salt content, but when mentioned the bill was adjusted to compensate. Pleasant surroundings, conveniently situated in Gloucester Quays, our dining experience was up to normal standard and the dessert was as delicious as always.

Cool relaxed sophisticated atmosphere. The music was in keeping with the ambiance of the establishment. The food is of a very high standard and there wine choice has something for even the fussiest drinkers, like myself. Its definitely a favourite of mine and will definitely go again!!

Superb! (again). My very first visit here was Mothers' Day. We both loved it so much we decided to go back again this weekend. and we were not disappointed. Once again the service was outstanding, the food faultless and the ambiance spot on (made even better this time because we were able to sit outside in the sunshine). Our new favourite restaurant in Gloucester. We will be back. Thank you to all the staff for giving us such an enjoyable lunch.

The assistant manager who served us is a fantastic member of your staff and a real credit to your organisation. She remembered that I had an issue last time I was in and went over and above to make sure we had a great meal

I think that is the best food I have eaten in a long while!! I had the Sea Bass with Fennel and a side dish of gratin potato, followed by creme caramel. It was absolutely delicious. We had to wait a little while to have our order taken but then I quite enjoy being given time to relax and chat with the people who I am dining with. The only slight negative for me is that the tables are very close together so you almost feel like you are dining with the people next to you but this is a minor gripe. I will definitely be returning

We had Good food and drink, which was quickly served. Quickest service I’ve ever had.Gratuity always added to bill though. Atmosphere good. Can be noisy sometimes.
