Côte Gloucester

I took my parents here for a birthday treat and overall the experience was disappointing. Soup as a starter was really planned and the Lamb had to be sent back as it was undercooked which the manager agreed and organised a replacement dish. In addition the service was really really slow and there didn't seem to be enough staff to cope. It took well over 2 hrs to complete the meal and they still added the significant service charge to the meal which we then had to ask them to take off.

We always get looked after here. The staff are brilliant. Top marks!! Food was excellent as always. Service was attentive and friendly. Would always recommend this place.

We booked for breakfast on my husband’s birthday. The food was delicious, and the service excellent! The wonderful staff even generously gave us a glass of fizz and pain au chocolat on the house as well as singing Happy Birthday. This was a really high quality experience. Thank you.

Polite, friendly staff - great service. Had everything on the menu and food was excellent. It was my partner's birthday and they provided a complimentary drink and gave her a birthday card when we departed.

Fantastic 50th birthday celebration. Everyone in the party enjoyed their food, steaks cooked to perfection. Staff very attentive. Lovely atmosphere. Service excellent. Birthday card, candle in pudding and staff singing happy birthday was a lovely surprise.

Absolutely fantastic! Catered to my gluten free needs with an amazing gluten free menu. Nice to be able to enjoy beautiful food again! Brilliant service also. Can’t wait for next time!

The assistant manager who served us is a fantastic member of your staff and a real credit to your organisation. She remembered that I had an issue last time I was in and went over and above to make sure we had a great meal

It was very busy but the service and food was excellent. It was quite loud, but that’s to be expected when it’s busy. We had a Great meal!

Have been to Côte many times before in lots of different locations. Food is always perfect and the staff always go above and beyond and couldn’t be more welcoming and lovely in the Gloucester restaurant. Today we had to wait a long time to get attention from staff, when we did get impatient it unfortunately resulted in shouting excuse me and waving for someone. It took around 15 minutes to even get some water for the table. Food took a while but was well worth the wait! Once more we did have to wait a while for the bill and for someone to take the payment which in the end we hunted someone down ourselves as we just came in for some lunch then wanted to be on our way. However these are just little things, because the energy of the staff and their kindness out shone it all. Definitely coming back and regularly! Thank you Gloucester team!

Côte is by far my favourite restaurant. I’ve always had a great experience, the food is delicious and the service is absolutely superb. Thanks for another lovely evening

We visited one afternoon with a close friend for lunch it was soooo nice food wonderful and the manager's and staff were so friendly .A lovely place to dine cosy and inviting would definately go back keep up the good work guys you are doing a brilliant job.

Fantastic food as always and very efficient and friendly staff, also as always. Gloucester Cote far superior to Cheltenham Cote in terms of food and staff.

This is the 3rd time we have been to the Brasserie and every time we cannot fault it. The early evening menu is particularity good value.

Always polite, helpful and the food is excellent. No matter what you order it’s goid. I order gluten free and this is treat with respect to all my wishes. The staff are always helpful and create the right atmosphere.

The manageress is amazing. Food had a couple of small errors but staff more than made up for it. Waiter was new but friendly and receptive to feedback.

Interesting menu, charming staff and lovely ambiance.Hopefully we can visit again soon given the corona virus situation. Normally your venue is too noisy for our ears but we were sorry so few diners today to make a noise.

Went for Sunday Breakfast. Not for the first time. As always the staff were excellent. Friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great as always, would recommend it to anyone.

Everything is perfect about this place, apart from the 12,5% tip which is added to the bill. I dont mind leavin tip but being pressured to pay this amount it is a little bit naughty.

Waitress was lovely and couldn’t do more for us. Staff were friendly and approachable. The rest of our party was running late by half an hour but that wasn’t a problem for them. Food was delicious and service great. A nice treat for my Nans birthday

Amazing experience outstanding customer service and excellent food as always

We had a lovely welcome when we arrived and were invited to choose where we would like to sit. We were offered the complimentary elderflower cocktails which were delicious. I had the risotto and my friend had the chicken salad, both were delicious, well seasoned and presented. The service was really friendly and professional. This is a great place to enjoy a lunch - we always enjoy our visit to Cote. Highly recommended!
