Côte Harpenden

I was keen to show off the new restaurant in town to my extended family. The place was packed. Lucky I pre booked. Our order was taken but unfortunately 1 meal was delayed ( a small oversight had occurred ) the staff could not be more apologetic and made sure we were looked after. Excellent customer service and the food was delicious . I will definatley go again .

Food and wine were very good, as expected. Terrific conversion of the old post office in a fantastic location, definitely more upmarket than some of the other restaurants in the road. For us though just a tad noisy, maybe because it was their first Friday. Staff very upbeat and attentive, very likely to go again.

it was a fab evening - we were celebrating my 50th birthday and the staff were lovely and the right level of attentive. We had great recommendations on wine and desserts which were very welcome - all in all an really lovely relaxed evening. Thank you

Great food and sensible prices plus smiley staff made it an excellent outing. Why do other restaurants struggle when all they have to do iis do it like Cote, Simple !

I think that the staff need additional training. Long wait to pay the bill when children were very tired. Starters good main course not so good. Not sure I will return

Food average - acoustics bad we had to practically shout to make ourselves heard- staff a little intrusive - asked twice if our meal was ok

A good start for a new opening a nice busy environment with good service and food. Looking forward to another visit and to add to our loyalty points!

Went early and a bit noisy but the food and service were excellent. The decor and atmosphere it created was lovely. Will definitely be visiting again.

Great food and excellent service. Had the lunch menu and this was excellent value for money. I would drop the discretionary tip and allow diners to tip without prompting.

Food and service excellent. But disappointed in a brand new restaurant as it was very noisy - hard surface bare walls/floors/tables - absolutely nothing to absorb the sound. Couldn't accoustic absoring material be put being the gold panels to make it a much more pleasant customer experience?

We love Cote and Harpenden restaurant is no exception. The food is always super fresh and the service excellent. Harpenden is a great addition to the Cote stable.

Food was delicious but took 20 mins to be asked what we wanted to drink and too many tables crammed in so very noisey. The waiters were struggling to get past and I food could easily have tipped onto someone. Waitress was very nice.

its only just opened so maybe teething difficulties, service was far too rushed, noise levels too high, needs some sound deadening. Food was ok but have preferred the St Albans & Welwyn Cote

Excellent service, great ambiance with typical Cote decor and most importantly very delicious food - we will definitely visit again! A great addition to Harpenden high street!

Restaurant had only been open for 2 days but as always Côte delivers, same great food and service as always! Great staff, great addition to Harpenden.

Service was quick and Ben was a very good waiter Tables a little tightly packed kept getting knocked when other people were trying to get passed

Staff were welcoming and the service mostly good. Had to wait some time before we ere asked if we wanted coffee etc at end of meal. Restaurant very sparklingly new ! Food very good. We were on the special menu served before 7pm. Excellent value although fish portion rather small but considering the meal was part of a 3 course deal then this is to be expected. Would recommend this restaurant to friends and we will certainly return - soon.

High consistency, quality and value for money. The quantity of food per dish is large - doesn't need to be so - guests could be given small complimentary tasters in between dishes.

A great atmosphere and great food on the opening night. The service was excellent also -what’s not to like? Love COTE and have already booked our next visit.
