Another lovely evening great service from the team as usual and great food.

I’ve dined at Cote Harpenden and always been great. Today was a birthday breakfast. I think we were served by the manager who offered excellent service and ensured we had a good experience. The food was lovely too. Perfect start to the day!

We were given a very warm welcome and although there were a couple of issues they were dealt with promptly and professionally, we were very impressed and would return

We had a most enjoyable lunchtime experience with some good friends. The meal was delicious and the staff friendly and attentive.

The food was lovely. Very nicely cooked, however my friend was disappointed when she only had one sea Bass. Fillet when the menu said sea bass Fillets with mussels. I told her to tell the waitress but she didn’t like to complain.

Lovely décor and atmosphere. Food excellent especially the steaks. Will definitely return.

Came with my son. Good atmosphere and food. We had a bit of a wait as a lot of people arrived at the same time as us (8pm) but the staff were very friendly and it was not a problem

Nice food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Restaurant quite quiet for a weekend lunchtime but had a nice atmosphere and felt relaxed. Food served at a nice pace and all nice.

We normally love Cote and have had lovely experiences at Cote Southbank and in St Albans. We thought it would be a similar nice experience at Cote Harpenden. Unfortunately we were really disappointed. The Fish Parmentier was old, extremely smelly and had a foul aftertaste. The staff were sorry and immediately offered an alternative. So we chose the steak frites. Unfortunately the steak was full of sinew and virtually inedible. The frites were nice though. We did not have to pay for the awful dishes and the staff were very apologetic but needless to say we will not be back at Cote Harpenden.

Lovely steaks, great service without being over bearing, very warm greeting from the host who recognised us from our first visit a few weeks prior to last night. Only slight niggle was that our starter arrived before drinks but we were so hungry we ordered everything at the same time so didn’t mind. Will be back soon.

Popped in for brunch, had the French breakfast, espresso and freshly squeezed OJ. Perfect. Delicious and hearty too. Especially liked the boudin noir, which I hadn't tried before, a more refined black pudding. All the staff were uber friendly too

Nice restaurant but just a little more expensive than you feel it should be.

I had never been to the restaurant, despite living in Harpenden for many years. I wish I had discovered it earlier. My pal and I (over 30 years friendship) had a wonderful time and were made to feel welcome and valuable customers. We will come again. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Was a lovely evening for my daughter’s birthday. Will definitely go back soon 😃

Portions were small from the set menu but two courses were still quite filling. It’s quite expensive to eat here if you have anything other than the set menu. Drinks, coffees, deserts and bread with the soup add up to a very expensive dinner even on the set menu. An extra 12 1/2% tip added to the bill also raises the price significantly. Service is great however but there were very few customers there this evening.
