The food is always delicious and the service is friendly and efficient. Very good value. The atmosphere is buzzy. Just a bit of a trek up a steep flight of stairs to the toilets.

Nice staff and ambience. Thoughtful food, well prepared and presented. Nice that they take breakfast orders until 1145. Nice touch that they serve chilled and filtered water.

Great atmosphere for a Monday. Excellent VFM. Good menu, a few too many frites but nevertheless the tomato and shallot salad was delicious. Will return.

No problem with the food, it was good quality and tasty. Excepting that I'd had 2 courses and was hungry again an hour later. We just waited too long from sitting down to being able to order a drink!! It was hard to catch the attention of anyone - seemed to be quite short staffed?

We ate from the early evening menu and there was a good varied choice. The food was very tasty; smallish but adequate sized portions so with three courses you didn't feel over faced. Had to ask for the bill a couple of times but friendly helpful service.

lovely restaurant in central Harrogate with a great atmosphere, good service and excellent food. Highly recommended, although it is a chain it has a more personal touch than youwould expect.

Everything ok except sons chicken was cold and wife's chicken provencale was a little tough. Staff helpful and friendly as always. Fillet steak was superb.

The service was excellent as usual. A little disappointed with the seat in the window in the right hand corner as its by a cupboard which was being used 2 to 3 times during the meal

Classic French bistro food very well done. Fish soup best outside France. Great buzzy atmosphere and brilliant staff. Early bird set menu 2 courses for £10.95 with lots of choice - what's not to like.

Love the set menu! Fabulous food at very reasonable prices. Love the Parisian style decor and warm atmosphere. Staff in Harrogate are professional and polite.

Good food, but noisy, and a chaotic feel to the service. It took a while to get drinks and give the order. Starters arrived, but there was an unacceptable delay before we got the main course. They tried to give us desserts -obviously ordered by another table - before we got our entrees. Plates cleared, but never offered desserts or coffee. - or indeed asked if we needed more drinks during our lengthy visit. Had to actively obtain the bill ourselves, and tell them we had left cash on the table as we left. This was our second visit. We would happily go back for the quality of the food, but not for the overall experience.

This is a restaurant that we go to once or twice a week now. Good food and great ambience. Waiter forgot to put in our order of beans so had to wait on them. Got them for free as an apology, easy done!

Service was good but my chicken was dry, as my main course was chicken and potatoes it was a little disappointing. The soup was very nice though.

Excellent value for money although service was a little slow given that there were few other diners when we arrived. Pre-Theatre meal and so didn't have time for dessert!

The restaurant was fairly busy , and initially we thought we had been forgotten, once our order was taken we had little time to wait. I felt so sorry for the poor girl who's job it was to bring the food downstairs, as she seemed to be doing this single handed!! The overal experience felt a little rushed and not the relaxed experience we've had previously Be careful don't allow your standards to drop

Food was enjoyable.However service was inconcistent.Slow at times? Even thow it wasn't busy. We do not agree with the 12.5% optional sevice charge.Not that good.

Good food and nice surroundings; pleasant staff. It was a quiet afternoon but I noticed that the adjacent table didn't receive all that they ordered but it was quickly rectified.

Quick service, friendly attentive staff, nice and clean restaurant, the brunch menu was good value and very tasty too... What more can you ask for?

A lovely evening. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. Would definitely recommend Cote. The house wine was very palatable and good value. Just what was needed for our party of 8.

The place was very busy - woefully under staffed, but those on duty did a great job and stayed cool, albeit service was a little slower than we would expect. Great food!

The Early Bird menu is great value for money and the service was very good. Good atmosphere even early in the evening. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Food and waiters were wonderful. Only downside was the fuss the maitre d made when sorting out our free introductory bottle of wine - made me feel small, cheap and untrustworthy in front of our friends. demanded I leave the table to go to the desk with him - as if he didn't believe that I was entitled to this offer. He did sort it, eventually, but it left an embarrassing atmosphere, an husband angry at how I was treated, and was all totally unnecessary. I'm sorry I registered for this offer - it wasn't worth the discomfort.

Great restaurant, very clean and lovely decor. The food was delicious, staff were very Friendly, prompt service. Will definitely return when we are next in Harrogate.

Absolutely love this place. Food always perfect and staff very attentive. Good menu choices and lovely decor. Try the tuna salad or steak frites and add a basket of freshly baked baguette.

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. Chose from the a la carte menu this time but fixed prix week day menu equally good and excellent value. We'll be back.

The service was very slow and the waitress was very off hand. We are not big drinkers but we had drunk a full bottle of wi e before our main course arrived. We left before desert or coffee as we felt we were not important to them. But the food was good.

I have become a regular customer to Cotes Brasserie in Harrogate, and tonight's meal did not disappoint! The food and service was perfect, thoroughly enjoyable!

Tasty relaxed French meal for two. Nicely paced service, good food and wine. Loved the boudin s noir to begin & the praline crepe to finish.
