Your tea is so weak , please change to a better brand. Sourdough bread too hard would better served with olive oil to soften . Otherwise enjoyed , after very helpful polite staff had changed my tough steak . Coffee really good 👍 Really good staff be proud of them .

We received excellent service and enjoyed great food! We thought the distancing, on a busy Saturday evening, was inadequate and should be reviewed.

Tables too close to each other for social distancing. Disappointing that despite a limited menu certain things had sold out by 8pm on a Saturday evening!

Delighted to be back at Cote. Food was delicious but the main course came before we had finished our starter. The beer was served slightly warm. Other than that couldn’t fault it.

Service was slow and the food tasted like an airplane meal- awful. I had the poulet grille and it was presented in a way where it had just been slopped into the bowl. I have been to Cote many times and every time it has got worse. After the other night I won’t be going again. Lack of social distancing between tables and when I was about to pay the bill, I gave my card to the waitress but she looked at my partner to ask if it was okay to use contactless even though it was obviously my card. When my partner looked at me to answer, I said yes and she maintained to wait for my boyfriend to say yes instead. I had to say it was my card not his and finally she tapped it but didn’t look at me once when she gave it back to me. She asked how our food was and my boyfriend said ‘not great to be honest’ and she just walked off without saying anything or giving us a chance to explain.

Not quite the same as before lockdown but probably down to the good safety measures in place with less tables in the restaurant My daughter also has a dairy allergy and really struggled with the menu. Would be great to see something other than sorbet on the desert menu that’s suitable

As usual a thoroughly enjoyable meal at Cote Brasserie. There is plenty of choice available and each served to perfection. All four diners were completely satisfied !!!

We usually go to the Cote in Manchester, which has always been a great experience and would have received 5 stars. However, this review applies to Harrogate where the experience was very different. We were in Harrogate for the day to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. My wife has food intolerances to Gluten, Chilli and Onion including all of its relatives ie Garlic, Leak etc. This was explained to the staff who provided a list of allergens. My wife asked if the chicken could be prepared without garlic and her other intolerances being present, as Manchester have always done. She was told yes it would be prepared without garlic. However, the meal contained garlic as within two hours of eating the meal she reacted by extreme bloating and generally feeling unwell. Whilst this is an intolerance as opposed to an allergy, she will recover in a couple of days. Your restaurant should be listening to customers and providing meals as agreed. This really isn't acceptable.

Good service and nice food on the whole. Was very quiet as apparently first week back after lockdown. Chose the lobster as a treat and was disappointed that it was quite chewy and messy to eat...not unexpected but had to ask for a finger bowl. Also had berries and white choc sauce which we thought the sauce would be warmer..still an enjoyable dessert but did feed this all back to the staff at the time

It was really great from the moment Tony welcomed us at the door, it was clearly busy at this point but we were booked in so ready at the door. The food was excellent as always, all staff were wearing visors, Hand gel was clearly visible in the restaurant and everything looked on point. We were really looked after throughout the whole evening and can’t wait to go back. Compared to other cote establishments this is by far the best we’ve been to.

Wonderful to see you back, we are regulars at York and looking forward to dee them opening, we live in Poppleton on the Harrogate line, so we made an effort to have a night out with you. The food and service was exceptional tonight. Thank you so much. John and Trish.

Lovely food only thing probably best not to use very delicate thin water glasses especially on children as it broke on my daughter’s mouth. Other than that, it was a lovely experience.

Food was lovely. We had a variety of starters, mains and deserts; all were delicious! Beef bourginon was rich and flavoursome; grilled swordfish was superb! Both the crime brulle and the chocolate mousse would we ordered again! Diasspointed with the ‘voluntary ‘ 12.5% service charge

I’ll definitely be coming back to Coates. Lovely food. Really pleasant staff. Good portion size. Went to Ginos last Saturday wasn’t to impressed Coates is ten times better.

We had a lovely lunch in Harrogate. The atmosphere and comfort of the interior makes for a relaxed experience. The service is warm, welcoming and efficient. The complimentary French 75 aperitif was delicious, as was the food and the bottle of Merlot. We will be returning.

As usual...always a friendly welcome. Fabulous food . It was my birthday so we all got a complimentary cocktail. The service is excellent and very professional. My friend has to eat gluten and soya free food and she was amazed with the choice and quality. Lovely evening and we were waited on by Bianca who is excellent at her job.

Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and plenty of gluten-free options. Good value for money and a showcase of quality French wines. Bustling on a Saturday evening, but we could hear each other. Excellent.

We love to come here for Brunch on a Sunday. The food is gorgeous the staff are excellent.

As always the service was perfect and the food excellent. Cote Harrogate has never failed to be an excellent dining experience and I always book a table whenever I visit
