Côte Harrogate

The food was nice. It would be good to have more than one non-dairy milk alternative. Our waitress had dirty hands/nails which was slightly off putting when serving food, she also didn’t have her shield pulled down to cover her mouth fully and huffed off in a mood when we asked to split the bill... she was nice apart from that.

Always good. Feels like a night out in a 'real' restaurant. In order for Cote to succeed in these difficult times your restaurant must be consistent, and every main dish carefully planned to provide good value well cooked. Twiddly bits of sauce TV style don't make a meal a winner. Cote need to concentrate on French style cooking, and provide a 'dish of the day' weekly to encourage diners to eat in your restaurant regularly.

Both the service and food were good, atmosphere nice would recommend for simple dining or an occassion

I really loved the restaurant the atmosphere was better as it filled up. Our Waitress tended to be in a rush although it was only 6.30 and then ordered a starter wrongly. It feltshe was programmed to ask certain things she had no air about her no smile no fun gave the impression French people don't like to give time to people as my brother in law is a French wine waiter so I know that is not true. I was shocked that one of the guys carrying the food so close to his face wasn't wearing a mask or visor like the others.

Great to be back! A little slow on food delivery and the restaurant was very warm, but the food and service were excellent.

Excellent from start to finish. First visit to this particular location and will return if there is an offer on or fixed price menu returns. Good value with 'Eat Out' offer but having to separate sides to accompany mains soon adds to the bill.

The whole experience was really good, the welcome was the only thing that stopped me giving it 5 stars. The service, food,wine were all good.

We visited the Cote Brasserie in Harrogate this evening as we know it is safe for my Coeliac daughter to eat in as a Coeliac UK accredited chain we have eaten in several times before. Annoying I have just Had to console my 3 year old daughter to bed having had to get our hotel room Bed sheets changed as she projectile vomited for the last hour. This happens within 2 hours of her being glutened. At CB she had a children’s chicken, chips and peas and strawberry ice cream. She has had this before and it has been fine so it seems there has been cross contamination in the kitchen area. As annoying this is as a parent of a child with Coeliac I ask that you please look into the training of your kitchen team so this doesn’t happen again to anyone else

This was the first time we had eaten out since pre lockdown (as my husband is classed as high risk) and I have to admit we were nervous, but the procedures in place made us feel safe. The staff as usual were excellent as was the food.

Enjoyable evening Gluten free option is varied and very nice
