Côte Horsham

Very good as usual, however when I booked I added a comment into the 'special instructions' as we were bringing an 8 week old baby and requested ideally a booth or a table out of the way and not in the middle of the restaurant incase I needed to feed (for other diners comfort). They had clearly not paid any attention to these comments and we were seated in the middle of the restaurant, causing some disruption with our pram aswell. This was our only option as all booths and tables out of the way were taken. As this is not the first time this request has been ignored (breakfast booked at Guildford Cote), it is slightly frustrating. Next time I would prefer to go to a competitor in town, who paid attention to our request in the comments.

Good service and very nice food. Wine could do with being a bit more chilled. Common problem at cote. Other than that - a very enjoyable lunch

Never been before it was suggested we go by my daughter and it was a great choice the place was clean staff extremely polite and welcoming and the food was fantastic will definitely be returning

Another great evening in Cote! Pedro was there to show us to our table and say goodbye at the end of the evening he is always a such a good host! fabulous food and fabulous service as always! Great brunch - food lovely and good atmosphere in the restaurant. Service could have been a bit more attentive however to be fair, our waitress was still learning the ropes.

My husband and I went to Cote last Sunday for breakfast. We had a lovely table near the window. The waitress who served us was friendly and the service was quick and efficient. The breakfasts were delicious.

We always love our meals at the Cote, their vegetarian menu is interesting which is important for me, the restaurant has a buzz and it is definitely quite my most favourite place for a luxury evening meal or a reasonably priced weekday lunch.

As always the food was lovely but as last time we visited 3 Sunday’s ago, service was very slow. Waitress had to apologise for the delay to our main courses and my fries were cold when they did arrive which is such a shame for a very popular restaurant that does serve good food and takes into account dietary requirements.

Second time in a week thought 1st visit was better very rushed last night and loud but that is not a complaint .Food was good and staff friendly. Did think if you booked online and eat off A La Carte you had a free Rhubarb Martini for the group we were not given one which was a shame I suppose I could have asked but should I have too,

I booked Cote to celebrate my retirement this week as I have always enjoyed the food and ambiance of the restaurant. Unfortunately I had the worst meal with my friends, starting with Mussels as a starter which had to be sent back , followed by a main course of Seafood Linguine again very disappointing the pasta was very dry hardly any sauce and again the mussels were awful and had to be replaced with prawns. I cannot understand how the chef could send these meals out? I felt extremely let down by Cote as we had all been looking forward to an evening of celebration.

Another lovely evening in Cote Horsham, service food and atmosphere spot on! Pedro and his team made us very welcome as usual. We shared the charcuterie board which was delicious, we would also recommend the salmon and chocolate fondant was amazing! Thanks again for a very enjoyable evening!

Lovely brunch and such great value for money. The service was very efficient and friendly and the food was excellent. Lovely ambience for a chilled Sunday brunch. We will certainly be returning again soon!

We have been to this restaurant 3 times in the last 2 months and can honestly say it’s our new favourite restaurant, we have just had a baby and all three times we have gone the customer service has been so good with them understanding needing the pushchair by the table and just generally making us feel so comfortable eating out with our first baby. The food and service is always impeccable

Enjoyed the experience as usual very good. good service and excellent food with good atmosphere. A very good deal with the breakfasts makes it very good value.

Generally very good. Only minor points being that gluten free crackers would be a better alternative to the bread with the cheese and some of the starters, the restaurant can get quite warm, and there was loud music audible from the kitchen throughout some of the meal.

As always, great food and wonderful service.. Always perfect for a date night. Just a shame its so rare it's not fully booked! Love it

The food was good - quite simple yet had tremendous flavours . The ambience was relaxing and quiet. A most enjoyable meal - A number of menus meant a great choice of food for most occasions. We look forward to visiting again.

Sadly a disappointing evening. We were a party of four and I can only speak for my husband and myself. Although we arrived early, at seven, we were shown to a table upstairs on the mezzanine floor and I initially thought this area might be quieter than downstairs. However, the accoustics are such that it was incredibly noisy and echoey and as the table in the (very nice) booth was quite wide we had real trouble conversing. As the evening progressed the place just got louder and louder. Starters were fine but oh dear, my duck confit was SO dry as was my husband's Breton chicken - not good. By 8.30 we were ready for pudding and my husband, who very rarely has a sweet, ordered his Cote favourite, creme brulee, as did one of our friends. Unbelievable they had run out! So no puds there. On the plus side the service was fine, friendly waiter and good timing between courses. However, it was a real relief to get outside into the peace and quiet of Horsham on a Friday night!

We feel lucky to have a local branch and have never been disappointed with our visits. We feel confident to bring friends along or to recommend you to them. Only one criticism is that, with the constant often loud buzz of conversation, there is absolutely no need for background 'music'!

The breakfast deal was excellent. Full breakfast, coffee and juice £10.50. All superbly cooked and beautifully presented. Did not care for the flavour and texture of the vege sausage but that is just personal taste. Waitress was very pleasant. Will definitely visit again.

Food as good and consistent as always. Service a little lacking awareness of attentiveness and far too keen to throw out the food rather than allowing us to to take the time to enjoy our meal. Starters brought out within minutes of the pre-starter garlic bread arriving Starter soup was splashed all over bowl.

Attentive staff, choice of table, prompt service,made for a pleasant lunch.

Lovely evening at Cote on Sunday - service was good, but before we had even sat down, our waitress informed us of the things we could NOT have from the menu. We appreciate that these things happen, but it felt a bit odd being given negative information before we had settled at our table. Hence only the four star rating.

Good service despite a very busy restaurant. Tables rather too close together for a 5 star rating - not good for conversation. Food good, but not hot enough for me.

My husband and I had a lovely evening at Cote tonight. Excellent food and great service. Waiting staff were very attentive, they catered really well for my gluten and dairy intolerances. Glad to see that Cote is back to the high standard of service we have always experienced. Hope to book in again soon.

Overall good experience, staff slightly over attentive my Cote de veau was excellent but my prawn gratinee was tasteless. Always a good place to go.

We were a party of 6 adults We had very good service and without exception all of our food was great. We really enjoyed our evening.

Very friendly service, received two complimentary drinks as it was our wedding anniversary! Staff were very attentive and the food was absolutely delicious! Nights out are rare as we have a little one and we always come back to Cote!

This is our second visit to Cote in Horsham. The newly refurbished restaurant is very nice, atmosphere is great and the food was superb (as is the case with every Cote we have visited). Service and staff excellent and the complimentary Kir Royale was a perfect aperitif! Highly recommended.

The Cote is an excellent restaurant. Have been many times to different locations. My last visit was in Horsham and as always the staff were so attentive . I can't rate the standard of the food higher than five stars, it was presented well and extremely tasty. Will be coming again very soon Thank you

Celebrating a birthday with brunch at Côte Horsham today. The staff were attentive and took note of the fact it was a special occasion, and we had a complimentary mimosa which was a nice extra treat! Côte always deliver good food and good service and would definitely recommend!

Service was great. Starters were lovely, however 3 main courses were sent back as they were cold. Dealt with well and the meals weren’t on the bill, but disappointing nonetheless.

Lovely staff and great food made our anniversary special xxxxx

It was my mother’s birthday and the staff made a fuss which was great. I would’ve liked to have recognised this by tipping them directly but as the tip is already in the bill and in this case was over £10 I didn’t want to spend even more. I really think tipping should be at the discretion of the customer and as a reward for service. It’s a nice gesture for a waitress to receive personal reward even if this is then shared in a pot. On saying all that, I love Cote - it’s my favourite “affordable” dine out restaurant!

We can always rely on Côte, Horsham for great food and super service...and the new blood orange martinis can be highly recommended! A definite five stars!

Lunch for mums 87thbirthday- very enjoyable - staff very friendly and made mum feel special with complimentary Prosecco and singing happy birthday to her The only downside was a slightly longer than expected wait for main course . My daughter had only just over an hour for lunch and had to miss cake and singing Overall experience excellent

Thoroughly relaxing, excellent food and friendly service, will definitely be returning.
